View Full Version : How do I edit or delete posts?

I could've sworn I was hitting the FAQ section and I ended up posting this same exact topic in the Opinions section. I would delete but I can't figure out how, just like I can't figure out how to edit anything. Is there a section of the site that explains what should be simple things like editing and deleting?

Okay. The edit button is there now, but only on SOME posts. I'm using it now to edit. It's still not there on other posts. And still, I can't find a way to delete posts.

Consider that the post is already edited. And so shall it appear.

That was incredibly helpful.

Better yet. How do I delete my whole account?

Where, oh where, could that "delete account" option be hidden?

It's a mystery for the ages.

Just like the mystery as to where the Edit button is on some, but not all, of my posts.

Wow, check out how it lists each and every single time that I've edited this post in the corner.

There's a time limit on editing posts. I think it's around 20-30 min or something like that.

As for deleting accounts, I don't know. Write to the webmaster.

By the way, you find this at the bottom left corner of the page if you're a member:

You can start a new topic.
You can view topic.
You can reply to posts.
You can edit your posts.
You cannot delete your posts.
You cannot add new polls.
You can vote in polls.
You can attach files to posts.
You can post without approval.
