These verses provide comfort and consolation to us who are of Spiritual Israel in these times. The blessed verses have been preserved from our prophets of old and now ring even truer in our days.

Let all of Israel ring out the glad message! BLESSED IS HE WHO DASHETH THY BABIES' HEADS AGAINST THE ROCKS, OH DAUGHTER OF BABYLON! BLESSED! BLESSED! IS HE!

PSALM 137

By the Rivers of Babalon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

4 How shall we sing the LORD's song in a Strange Land?

5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my Right Hand forget her cunning.

6 If I do not remember thee, let my Tongue cleave to the roof of my Mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my Chief Joy.

7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the Day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof!

8 O Daughter of Babalon, who art to be destroyed; how blessed shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us!

9 How blessed shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy babies head against the rocks.

OH! BABALON! BLESSED IS HE WHO DASHETH THY BABIES' HEADS AGAINST THE ROCKS!

This is the most beautiful and blessed thing I've read in a long time.

Indeed, let all Israel now say, Oh, Daughter of Babalon, blessed is he who datheth thy babies' heads against the rocks.

It is the purest poetry and joy to the earth.

Thank you for the post, Leonardo.

Leonardo, your post was so inspiring, that I just had to add Ode to Joy here.

It really is time to watch the fat ladies sing!

At last, a reason to sing in German..

I wasn't going to post here today, but I too was honestly moved by the beauty of this Psalm, Leo.

Have you heard it in Hebrew?

Here's the audio version.

It brings a tear of joy just listening to it.
