Remember that country?

Bin Laden's homeland.

The country that harbored and trained Al Qaeda terrorists.

Those same terrorists that attacked the US on 911?

Gee.

Seems like we invaded Afghanistan and then for some reason turned all of our military attention to Iraq.

Go figure.

In the name of OIL!

The poppy fields have been growing peacefully since our invasion and ousting of the Taliban, but currently it appears that they are gaining force and now our direction must be diverted there in order to sustain the CIA's hold on the heroin crop.

More US troops may go to Afghanistan this year - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080716/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_afghanistan)

Just heard that more troops are heading to Afghanistan and that the years 2009 and 2010 will be more violent than the years preceeding them.

I'm telling you.

Those Taliban.

They are stronger than the US Military Industrial Complex and all of her allies combined.

Unbelievable!

We just can't stop them.

We've been fightiing the Taliban for 7-1/2 years in Afghanistan and, apparently, we haven't made a dent.

They're invading Pakistan now and milllions of Pakistani citizens have been misplaced by this group of militants.

The US military; Pakistan and all of our allies combined are unable to over power the Taliban.

They must be "Al Mighty."

WE can't seem to stop them even after a 7-1/2 year presence in Afghanistan.

Seems our presence in Afghanistan has only made the Taliban stronger.

Our military couldn't even stop Al-Qaeda on 911.

Seems they were grounded on that day.

The word is out.

The military BRASS have called on OBAMA to order more troops to Afghanistan.

Eight years later we still cannot overcome the Taliban.

As you've seen in pictures, this GROUP of militants are extremely armed and very dangerous.

They are mightier than America's military industrial complex and all of her allies combined.

Its more that the terrain there is conducive to fighting a hit and run insurgency, not that their forces are particularly apt or qualified.
