True Democracy's Check & Balances - :-o :-o :-o

Open and transparent government is essential for a true democracy. When government conducts important debates and votes about public laws in secret, we all lose. Congress should hold open and public hearings for laws that affect all citizens, ant not in secret.

This is not only inappropriate, it is dangerous, and it is un-American. It contradicts the values for which our flag stands.

The “check & balances” we have followed since the inception of our Republic, are crucial, indispensable, and a vital ingredient to the health of our Nation, whose purity relies in the equal justice it is to provide to all of its citizens. The integrity of these “checks” are an indispensable attribute without which the Nation seizes to exit. We have seen how history has proven, for this to be exactly the case (i.e., Hitler’s “Downfall” - http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1808642134 ).

For all of humanity, let’s outgrow the weaknesses of character enacted, when men are overcome by the Power entrusted onto them. Together we will triumph, and the truth shall rise above all that is meaningless. In the end, it always does.

May God help us all.

George Galloway Tells Congress About Their Pack Of Lies – :-o :-o :-o

“I told the world that Iraq, contrary to your claims did not have weapons of mass destruction. I told the world, contrary to your claims, that Iraq had no connection to al-Qaeda. I told the world, contrary to your claims, that Iraq had no connection to the atrocity on 9/11 2001. I told the world, contrary to your claims, that the Iraqi people would resist a British and American invasion of their country and that the fall of Baghdad would not be the beginning of the end, but merely the end of the beginning. Senator, in everything I said about Iraq, I turned out to be right and you turned out to be wrong and 100,000 people paid with their lives; 1600 of them American soldiers sent to their deaths on a pack of lies; 15,000 of them wounded, many of them disabled forever on a pack of lies.”

"Now, Senator, I gave my heart and soul to oppose the policy that you promoted. I gave my political life's blood to try to stop the mass killing of Iraqis by the sanctions on Iraq which killed one million Iraqis, most of them children, most of them died before they even knew that they were Iraqis, but they died for no other reason other than that they were Iraqis with the misfortune to born at that time. I gave my heart and soul to stop you committing the disaster that you did commit in invading Iraq. And I told the world that your case for the war was a pack of lies.”

The importance of this article has nothing to do w/ party politics. Regardless of whether you affiliate w/ any of the 2 major political parties, what they are trying to do would literally "rewrite the Constitution and reinvent reality".

Bush, GOP Seek to Reinvent Reality
“Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid accused President Bush Thursday of trying to "rewrite the Constitution and reinvent reality" in a drive to weaken Senate filibuster rules and install out-of-the-mainstream conservatives on the federal bench.”

Letter To Congress – :-o :-o :-o

Dear Honorable U.S. Senator & U.S. Representative:

I urge you “not to support the continuance and/or the expansion of the Patriot Act.” All of these new “unchecked powers” granted to agencies incapable of delivering fair and true justice and without prejudice are a real threat to our democracy and way of life, as established by our “U.S. Constitution” and the “Bill of Rights.”

It is time to start rebuilding our country first, as opposed to any other foreign nation, to the high ideals we always upheld. God, honor, country.

It is pretty clear that the last 3 years have brought nothing but devastation to our way of life here in the “United States of America.” We are experiencing the lowest levels of prosperity that we have ever been forced to endure. Everything is in a state of decay and deterioration. Perhaps the top 1% or 7% wealth-holders of our population can not feel the effects of this “forced change” or even acknowledge anything wrong with the direction we have taken.

Just because the news media sings along the out-of-beat rhythm of Congress, does not mean that the people do not know what’s going on. We know our job base has been sold out to foreign countries by design, through the “Free Trade Agreement.” We see that all of our industries are being sold, closing down or going under (i.e., Levi’s Jeans, Ford, GM, IBM Computers,…) We see a market crash coming. We know an unjust war when we see one. We know the difference between “true terrorism” vs. “manufactured terror,” as history has a long list of events that were manufactured acts of treason, such as “Pearl Harbor.” We know when our infrastructures are been purposely allowed to hit bottom. We know when moneys are being transferred from our treasury and into the pockets of wealthy contractors of the military industrial complex. We know when Congress says and promises one thing, but does another. We have been pretty patient. However, I don’t know if God will be so patient when our time comes. But one thing we know for certain is that our time will come for us all.

We don’t have to continue this track of self-destruction with the hope of a good willing, caring, understanding, & giving world government. That’s is just another lie and a flash-light at the end of the tunnel.

All you have to do is look at the faces of the people you swore to represent, and not necessarily the ones that are allowed to peacefully demonstrate because their views coincide with the secret agendas designed to change our republic from a democracy and into a “police state.” From one where the government is supposed to be nothing but an instrument of “We The People,” to one where the government is above any accountability to “We The People.”

I am not implying that you personally have any involvement with the wrongs our country is taking. But because you are in a position of power, granted to you by our “U.S. Constitution,” I urge you to represent the voices of “We The People” that have fallen, and those that are just about to fall.

I know we can together change it all around for the better. Show the world once more than there is nothing wrong with love for our fellow human beings; the reason we got together in the first place.

May God have mercy upon us all.

Global Tax Loosing Support – :-o :-o :-o

From: The Liberty Committee

Thank you!

Only minutes ago, the Paul amendment to prevent the U.N. from placing a direct tax on American citizens in order to fund its sovereignty-busting agenda was accepted by the U.S. House of Representatives. We won!

Blocking the U.N. push for a global tax is a crippling blow to the world-government agenda.

Your efforts -- and in no small way, your faith -- have paid off.

Thank you. More battles lie immediately ahead, perhaps only hours away. The
Paul amendment to withdraw from the U.N. is coming up next. Momentum is with us. Send your message urging your U.S. representative to support the Paul amendment that would get the U.S. out of the U.N.

Urge Congress to Shut Down Guantanamo Bay and Secret Prisons -- And Restore Rights - ACLU

Congress needs to act now to shut down the Guantanamo Bay prison and all secret federal government facilities where individuals have been tortured or abused, and make sure these horrors never happen again.

The federal government is holding people indefinitely without charge in Guantanamo Bay and in secret prisons around the globe. Persons as young as fourteen have been imprisoned for nearly four years at Guantanamo Bay without being charged, with no access to any attorney or court, and with no meaningful chance to prove their innocence.

Click here to urge your Members of Congress to shut down lawless government detention centers and ensure the government provides basic protections to all individuals being held.

"The 10th Amendment to the Constitution says that all powers not granted to the federal government belong to the states or to the people."

"Those who wrote the Constitution clearly understood that power is dangerous and needs to be limited by being separated -- separated not only into the three branches of the national government but also separated as between the whole national government, on the one hand, and the states and the people on the other."

"The kinds of limitations on the power of the national government created by the Constitution are being nuanced out of existence by the courts."

The "sadistic pigs" from the top echelon on down within our government and military who train, order and perpetrate torture on any prisoner at GITMO whether deemed a terrorist or not, according to their investigation of any individual being held in Cuba or in secret prisons around the globe need to cease and desist with these "inhumane" practices.

My worst fear is that they are programming through mind control/torture tactics some of the prisoners who may be innocent to commit an act of TERROR upon the United States at some future date after they have been released back into society.

Our government was elected to represent the people of this country and their actions are in direct conflict with the majority of Americans and what we believe in!!

John F. Kennedy – 35th U.S. President

<img src=http://i.timeinc.net/time/personoftheyear/archive/photohistory/images/jfk.jpg>
John F. Kennedy (http://i.timeinc.net/time/personoftheyear/archive/photohistory/images/jfk.jpg)

“Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what American will do for you, but what together we can do for the Freedom of “man”” – John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address
http://www.quotedb.com/speeches/john-f-kennedy-inaugural-address

We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom, symbolizing an end as well as a beginning, signifying renewal as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears prescribed nearly a century and three-quarters ago.

The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary belief for which our forebears fought is still at issue around the globe, the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God.

We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans, born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage, and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of these human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more.

To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United, there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided, there is little we can do, for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder.

To those new states whom we welcome to the ranks of the free, we pledge our word that one form of colonial control shall not have passed away merely to be replaced by a far more iron tyranny. We shall not always expect to find them supporting our view. But we shall always hope to find them strongly supporting their own freedom, and to remember that, in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside.

To those peoples in the huts and villages of half the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required, not because the Communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right. If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.

To our sister republics south of our border, we offer a special pledge: To convert our good words into good deeds, in a new alliance for progress, to assist free men and free governments in casting off the chains of poverty. But this peaceful revolution of hope cannot become the prey of hostile powers. Let all our neighbors know that we shall join with them to oppose aggression or subversion anywhere in the Americas. And let every other power know that this hemisphere intends to remain the master of its own house.

To that world assembly of sovereign states, the United Nations, our last best hope in an age where the instruments of war have far out-paced the instruments of peace, we renew our pledge of support: To prevent it from becoming merely a forum for invective; to strengthen its shield of the new and the weak; and to enlarge the area in which its writ may run.

Finally, to those nations who would make themselves our adversary, we offer not a pledge but a request: That both sides begin anew the quest for peace, before the dark powers of destruction unleashed by science engulf all humanity in planned or accidental self-destruction.

We dare not tempt them with weakness. For only when our arms are sufficient beyond doubt can we be certain beyond doubt that they will never be employed.

But neither can two great and powerful groups of nations take comfort from our present course--both sides overburdened by the cost of modern weapons, both rightly alarmed by the steady spread of the deadly atom, yet both racing to alter that uncertain balance of terror that stays the hand of mankind's final war.

So let us begin anew, remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness, and sincerity is always subject to proof. Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate.

Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us.

Let both sides, for the first time, formulate serious and precise proposals for the inspection and control of arms, and bring the absolute power to destroy other nations under the absolute control of all nations.

Let both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors. Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths and encourage the arts and commerce.

Let both sides unite to heed in all corners of the earth the command of Isaiah to "undo the heavy burdens...(and) let the oppressed go free." And if a beachhead of co-operation may push back the jungle of suspicion, let both sides join in creating a new endeavor, not a new balance of power, but a new world of law, where the strong are just and the weak secure and the peace preserved.

All this will not be finished in the first one hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days, nor in the life of this Administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin.

In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe.

Now the trumpet summons us again--not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need; not as a call to battle, though embattled we are; but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation," a struggle against the common enemies of man; tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself.

Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North and South, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind? Will you join in that historic effort? [Crowd shouts approval]

In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility; I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it, and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.

And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what American will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth, God's work must truly be our own.

President Kennedy's cold-blooded murder was an act to traumatize our nation, silence him against THEM and a lesson for any and all of those who may have contemplated breaking the "Code of Silence."

Was President Kennedy being manipulated into different states of mind?

Was President Clinton being manipulated into different states of mind?

Was sexual programming being used on both men to taint their IMAGE???

Just a hypothetical question, not an accusation.

President Kennedy DIED for his country in an effort to WARN us about the dissolution of our FREEDOMS by "evil" men.

He was "pandering" to the people. He was becomming soft. They couldn't control him.

So, "one shot to the back of the head" and he'll be dead. A tragedy televised to traumatize our nation/world!!

911, another televised tragedy to traumatize and cause further fear, anxiety amongst the masses.

First it was the Cold War and now it is the threat of a TERRORIST ATTACK at any MOMENT. Same fear as a NUCLER attack during the Cold War.

What Happened? – :-o :-o :-o

What happened to the protections offered by the Geneva convention?

How come the war-mongers claim to fight governments when in fact they kill civilians by the thousands we don’t even have to count because our “beautiful minds” can not be wasted w/ such reality?

What happened to all of the human rights victories attained by the sacrifice of both men & women over the last 50 years & more?

What happened to all of the protections we had finally obtained over decades of hard work to provide workers w/ a fair environment to work in & provided by the employer?

What happened to the “American Dream”?

What happened to families?

What happened to our standards of education?

What happened to our life savings?

What happened?

Who has a monopoly on prosperity?

Who has a monopoly on freedom?

Who has the power, time, & the money to dedicate themselves full time to destruction? To the war-machine?

Where did they get that money from?

How did they get it?

Who are the only people that get a pay raise every year regardless of how much destruction they have caused?

Who really believes the “propaganda machine”?

Where is the true moral authority in this planet, who is free from prejudice, greed, corruption, hate, & disregard for humanity? Does it exist? Or do we just hope it does?

When was the last time any of our leaders talked about the “freedom of man,” freedom from a system designed to enslave humanity?

Who are the real “Predators” of freedom?

Who are the “Predators” of prosperity?

Who is watching the “Predators” preying upon humanity? Who is going to punish them?

When the land was free & we could live from the land & the sea w/o having to pay half of your earned hard labor to some “authority”, we were free. They came along & promised to protect us in exchanged for our earnings. But what happens when we need their protection? They turn away, far, far, away… we got screwed. And this is not the first time, …or the last.

The question is, what are we going to do w/ the Beast?

Terror laws 'won't be watered down'

From staff writers and wires

October 17, 2005

PRIME Minister John Howard has said new counter-terrorism laws have not been watered down and denies his government is trying to introduce some measures by stealth.
The Law Council said yesterday the proposed laws will push Australia closer to a police state, while ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope said he may not support some elements of the package.

The draft laws were leaked by Mr Stanhope on Friday.http://network.news.com.au/image/0,10114,5062232,00.jpg

He claimed they go much further than the measures agreed to by state and territory leaders at a Council of Australian Governments meeting last month.

Attorney-General Philip Ruddock yesterday said the bill had changed since it was posted on Mr Stanhope's website, but Mr Howard said the changes were only minor.

"What is going to be in that legislation is what I announced and the states agreed to – no more, no less," Mr Howard said.

"I announced that we were going to have preventative detention, I announced that we were going to have control orders, I announced that we would be expanding the sedition offence to include incitement of violent behaviour against the community.

"All of those things have been out in the public domain.

"Now obviously people are entitled to have a look at the final form of the legislation and they will, but this idea that we have snuck in a whole lot of attacks on civil liberties beyond what I announced is completely wrong."

Mr Howard said the changes were "drafting things, they're not areas of substance", and he accused Mr Stanhope of playing politics on the issue.

"I guess Mr Stanhope is engaging in a bit of internal Labor Party politics because some of his own people don't like any legislation in this area, let alone this legislation," he said.

The Prime Minister said he had not heard any other state or territory leader express concern about the laws.

"Not one of them has been in touch with me, not one," Mr Howard said.

"We're not trying to hold the document back, but until as a result of the process between the commonwealth and the states we agree on the final form of the legislation, there's not much point in releasing it in a bit by bit fashion." Earlier, reports said that that Federal Government's tough new anti-terror laws would be watered down following a community backlash and backbench concerns some elements are too extreme.

Mr Ruddock conceded yesterday that his backbench committee had already forced some "minor changes" and suggested there could be more.

Despite Canberra's concessions on the terror laws, Labor, the Greens and the Democrats have complained that the Government is trying to rush through the legislation, giving a parliamentary committee just one day to look at the sweeping changes.

Muslim and civil liberties groups added their voices to Green and Democrats concerns over a shoot-to-kill provision for police in cases where people attempt to escape or avoid "preventative detention".

Under the Crimes Act, a police officer can only use lethal force where the person is about to be arrested for a crime and there is a threat to the police officer or some other person.

But under the amendments circulated by the ACT, a similar provision applies to a terror suspect who attempts to evade "preventative detention".

In both cases, where "practicable", police must give the person a warning.

Law Council of Australia president John North said the difference between existing and proposed police powers was that a person had to have committed a crime. "This Government is handing the police expanded powers to shoot to kill," he said.

"It seems to be aimed at covering situations like the London Underground shooting ... there was really no need for this for people who may be just suspects and not have committed a crime."

Australian Muslim Civil Rights Advocacy Network spokesman Waleed Kadous said the "devil is in the detail and there are plenty of devils in this legislation".

"Frankly, we are disappointed because while the Prime Minister said there would be lots of safeguards, there don't appear to be that many," he said.

"We are concerned police can shoot to kill without a crime being committed and that you can be held in preventative detention for 24 hours before you even see a judge." [Yeh, i'm a little concerned about coppers being able to shoot for...exactly what reason? Oh, thats right! They dont need one.]

But Mr Howard said yesterday the so-called shoot-to-kill provision merely mirrored existing police powers, and the law relating to sedition was simply being updated. [Really? I thought it had to be "justifiable homicide"? Meaning an imminant threat to self or public. With the new law they can shoot to kill if a subject runs away.]

"We've had sedition laws in this country for years ... we've had laws governing the use of lethal force by police for years," he said.

"The two new concepts in this legislation are preventative detention and control orders and ... they continue to be debated in the community."

Oh, yes, what a wonderful document. Let's brush the dust off of it.

So, how many people does it take to abolish the government?

One, two, three hundred???

Well, I want to abolish it. It is destructive. Is there an attorney in the house who can tell me how to proceed?

"The U.S. Constitution's Article IV, Section 4 reads, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence." Coupled with the Tenth Amendment, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people," this means short of an insurrection, the U.S. military must be invited by a state legislature or executive. “America's at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”

Many months ago I read an article by Claire Wolfe in which she used the phrase “shoot the bastards”, when she stated: “America's at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”

I agreed with her comments, and do so now, but am seriously wondering just when is it time to start shooting the bastards that are destroying America.

Even Gandhi recognized the potential necessity of violence, saying:

“He who cannot protect himself or his nearest and dearest or their honor by non-violently facing death, may and ought to do so by violently dealing with the oppressor. He who can do neither of the two is a burden.”

“Is It Time Yet?”, also by Claire Wolfe.

n her article, Ms. Michaels has drawn the line in the sand that she will not permit government or its enforcers to cross. I agree with her, that it is time that we do draw the lines we will not permit government law enforcers of de facto law to cross.

We have inherent, inalienable rights that no man or group of men has the authority to interfere with. They are not rights granted by government, but are rights that exist without any written word, rights that existed long before man could speak, let alone write.

However, to assure government would stay in its place – to provide protection of all human rights by defending our shores and accomplishing tasks for us, such as assuring such control of all artificial persons, including themselves – the founders of this land of ours wrote and then got the Constitution for the united states of America ratified.

This document was meant to limit government to never ever interfering with human rights. Every state constitution must abide with this document of supreme Law and prohibitions on government, with all statutes or ordinances written by government also complying.

To assure even further that government understood its role, the framers added articles of amendment, the first ten of which are commonly called the “Bill of Rights”. Should any be violated, or the provisions of the basic constitution be violated, then it is treason, and those that act so are traitors to America and the American people.

This land was founded on the provisions outlined most effectively by the Magna Charta, Common (Natural) Law, and the Ten Commandments. Never were God-given rights to be violated – they are INALIENABLE.

Thus, the basic law that applies to the people is that we can do anything we want so long as we do not intentionally harm another or damage his property.

However, this is not so with “persons in law” that are nothing more than imaginary fictions that have been given certain privileges – but no immunities to suit or prosecution – by agreement (meaning by contract) – and including Oaths of Office.

Such includes officials, those appointed or hired by officials, corporations created by persons in government, franchised commercial operators, licensed persons, and all other “citizens of the United States” created by the 14th Amendment.

None of these include We the People who are by birthright “Citizens of the United States” (meaning the People of the united states of America). We are not privileged persons – we are human beings that need no permission to do as we will from any other but particularly permission is not needed from any government body politic.

Huge frauds have been committed against the people of our land. You and I have been ripped off year after year for nearly or all of our lives by greedy no good dirty rotten traitors to America that we call “public/civil servants”.

First of all, People, all public property belongs to us. We only gave authority for government to regulate artificial persons using our – for example – roadways for commercial purposes, and to assure those conducting commercial operations on our property do not endanger us as they make commercial use of our roadways and other properties.

Therefore, all licensing is directed at commerce and the persons engaging in it that hold some sort of privilege granted by governing bodies, but not human beings.

Furthermore, safety measures, such as inspections and seat belts, are also – and can only be – aimed at persons in commercial activities, not human beings in their private travels in conveyances owned privately and used for private purposes.

In regard to firearms, no group has any authority to regulate what weapons are owned or carried by human beings, except in the federal zone. If one can afford – an extreme example – to buy a tank, then one may own and operate it on our public roads. Come to understand that Government may only regulate artificial persons, including those very few that have been determined by the people to be too dangerous to allow handling of firearms or other weapons or, in other words, those that are an extreme danger to themselves and others.

This does not include all felons, as government has so distorted the justice system that what is often considered a felony is most often only revenue generating for the gain of government, and not because of a crime committed against another human being – no victim, no crime.

Think. Do actual victims get redress, or does the State government (including its chartered local governments) profit from crimes or so-called “crimes” that do not exist because of no victims? From experience, it is always the government that gets redress that should have gone to the victim – or no prosecution at all because of there being no victim.

However, because of the profit made by government, prisons that have been privatized for the gain of government and its friends are full of people who have committed no crime.

This also applies to all drug control measures, as we each have the choice to use or not use, to sell or not sell, to grow or not grow, and so on any drug we wish. Our bodies are ours, and are not property of the government. Plus, government may not interfere in commerce (contracts) between the people, or the states they make up.

Also, a man or woman that has been convicted and paid redress to the victim has cleared his record. What if he merely stole a car, or some other far cheaper item, but was then convicted by a jury of his peers, served his time, and then repaid his victim. Is he not supposed to be able to defend himself against those that intended to harm him?

I believe he should be able to, although others may not agree. Of course, congress and every body politic known as “government” are full of felons, even though not prosecuted and convicted. They just hire bodyguards, and get around the rules and regulations that do apply to them.

But, whether others agree or not, so long as a so-called felon does not use a weapon to interfere with another’s rights, then it is no business of the government. In fact it never is, as it is up to we people to file an official verifiable complaint in the form of an Affidavit presented to a Grand Jury of our peers (not government appointed lackeys).

Only we people have the authority to accuse, as artificial entities have no rights to violate. Of course, government has hidden this fact by using unlawful treasonous measures to increase the coffers and powers of the government and that of the entities making up and controlling government. The money and property theft has thusly become an annual multi-billion dollar business for local, State, and the federal government corporation, and those alleged public servants filling the offices.

However, we also have the right to defend ourselves against damage by others. It does not matter whether it is another civilian threatening us or damaging our property, or if it is a public/civil servant threatening or damaging our property.

Just where in the Magna Charta, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Ten Commandments is any government entity given the authority to take by force our rights and other property, or to reign over we people as if we are in servitude to them?

Did hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people die during the last 6000 years so that a few dipshits elected, appointed, or hired to a body politic could remove human rights by regulating their activities, and then taking private property at will?

Not hardly. Millions have died for the betterment of mankind, which is to evolve until each and every human being regulates himself based primarily on spiritual beliefs.

Don’t get your drawers in a bind, atheists and others. Spiritual beliefs – at least knowing the difference between right and wrong – exists in all of us, except socio- and psychopaths, and some others that are mentally deficient – or drugged by the US Government. Or – let us not forget – in government.

Some people will even say that I am mentally deficient or all drugged out or whatever, as they disagree and react emotionally rather than with rational thought that just maybe they should do some research before mouthing off.

Such a do-nothing attitude is fine if they wish to remain in servitude to a bunch of criminals in government that could care less about them, their property, their lives, their liberty, and their pursuit of happiness. To each his own - - - so long as it does not interfere with my free exercise of my rights.

Many are not aware of it, but we people are being attacked daily by de facto armed and dangerous law enforcers that are committing treason and using terrorism during confrontation with the American people.

They are killing and beating innocent people, torturing them on roadways, in jails and prisons, and often planting evidence or responding to some "tip" that they might be doing this or that.

Innocent Americans – and others – are terrorized, beat up, or killed without a shred of evidence or due process, and put in prison anyway by judges and prosecuting attorneys that haven’t a clue as to law and justice – that is, if they survive the initial confrontation.

I was just reading an article about a sheriff in Arizona that is nothing but a Gestapo like tyrant, making law, and applying terrorism and treasonous acts that would get an ordinary person hung. His name is Joe something or another, in the county Phoenix is in. God, what a traitor to America this guy is.

Anyway, he epitomizes what is happening, that law enforcers and the governments they work for, are no different than a foreign force entering our land and using the force of arms to force compliance to rules that do not apply to the people. Such are acts of war, against which we have the right – and duty – to defend our land against.

Law enforcers and the creeps they work for (don’t ever believe the BS it is for the people) are traitors to America and should be dealt with as traitors, just as legislators, justices, judges, and all executive branch officials are also traitors and should be dealt with the same.

If we are not to defend our selves, our families, our homes, and our land against those that are destroying America now, then when is it time - after they have confiscated arms? As every country on Earth that has had arms confiscated learned the hard way, it is too damn late then.

Liz Michael is right and so am I when I state the time to attack back with deadly force is when you are being threatened, or when some dirty traitor takes away your rights by force.

One should have discretion, though, and not counter attack on their terms but on your terms. For example, it is too easy for them while five, ten, twenty or more are raiding your home, or while you are sitting inside a car or truck, essentially as a sitting duck.

However, not always will you be essentially trapped in your own home or car or truck or whatever. Retribution does not have to occur right then, but can occur later when the thug or thugs are unguarded with them placed in much the scenario you avoided. They do it, so is not what is good for the goose good for the gander?

Sounds horrible, doesn’t it, but keep in mind the rights of Americans are being tromped on all over this land, and armed and dangerous enforcers are getting away with it because they are using arms while the people are not.

They are using large numbers of armed thugs while the people are not. Thus, the power they wield is exactly like the power the German Gestapo held with one exception – many of we Americans are still heavily armed.

It is that type of power the standing armies amongst us understand, so it is the type of power the people must also wield – or human rights will be forgotten for dozens upon dozens of generations.

Folks, that is the purpose of the 2nd Amendment, as our forefathers expected government would get out of hand, acting as bad or worse than any king or other tyrant acted.

That also, my fellow people in servitude, is the only way we are to free ourselves of the chains of power that bind us in servitude to a few elite scumbags, whether local city, county, state, federal, or international.

If we do not act soon, we will no longer be able to because those that would fight back will all be dead or in prison camps being tortured or killed.

Think it cannot happen here? You had best read the real history of the world, and quit listening to losers such as the Bush family, the other creeps in and behind the federal government, and their lackeys – mainstream media.

It has happened repeatedly – and in other countries where the people did not believe it would happen. But, as is our nature, we tend not to learn from history, and must have it shoved down our throats, with millions slaughtered. Then mankind waits for the next time it happens believing the SOSDD (same old shit, different day) put out by those they have placed their trust in.

Well, Folks, I for one am flat fed up with the elite scumbags – and the not so elite locally – and what they are doing to our people, my fellow man in other lands, and our future generations. They must be stopped.

Never will they be stopped with the vote or depending on them to “do the right thing”, because they no longer know what the right thing is, nor do they fear the people.

Face that as a truth, People, and maybe even those who just love Bush and his bunch killing thousands upon thousands of innocent unarmed human beings for fun and profit – and other evil intents – might begin to weigh in the facts, rather than believing the ton of lies spouted by Bush and his kind.

Perhaps another American might be born from his study, one that will only accept the liberty to exercise Inalienable Rights and the absolute will to do away with – hopefully politically – any public servant that interferes.

So, when is it time to shoot the bastards? Well, that is a matter of one’s conscience, whether one’s heart and soul determines it is time. Should yours determine it is, may you have thousands of others determine it is at the same time, or you will fall as “just another right wing militant whacko”, rather than a true American patriot and lover of human Rights and freedom.

As tyranny advances to overwhelming proportions, and the time grows nearer to being left without any other choice by those that would enslave the whole human race, I close with a most appropriate quote, the same quote that began Liz Michael’s commentary ~

"Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Nations and peoples who forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms."
- Robert Heinlein

Check: Freedom Of Speech – Balance: Freedom Of Thought vs. Oppression – :-o :-o :-o

If government can not be questioned, then we are just not free… Freedom of thought does not exist. Freedom of expression does not exist.

Thus, the only way a “society” can “thrive & prosper”, is with a government that does not hinder it’s growth. For that, you need a government where “everyone” can think of a better way… A place where the government is a tool of “society,” & not the other way around, where “society” is a tool of those “governing,” where only “they” can “prosper & have a better life.” That’s “totalitarianism,” where we are unfortunately heading.

Instead of having come out of the “dark ages,” it seems as though we are “going back” to them.

Time To Take Back America From The Democrats And The GOP

From Karl W B Schwarz

11-3-5

One of the missions of American Patriot Movement will be to remove the U.S. troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and conduct a full investigation of 9-11 without a panel of 10 people that are conflicted on making a full investigation.

Our Constitution, our freedoms and civil liberties have all been altered because of 9-11, an investigation that has been covered up by the Bush Administration and Congress. They have even covered up the Cheney Energy Task Force, where we suspect that it was discussed that the landlocked oil deals in Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan would not be landlocked much longer - as Cheney and Bush intended to take control of the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline, or TAP as it is called, with military force.

That pipeline was under contract from Turkmenistan, through Afghanistan, through Pakistan to the ocean with an Argentine oil company named Bridas Corporation and its parent Bridas S.A.P.I.C. On September 9, 2003, Bridas prevailed at the Fifth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals on a $500 million interference of contract lawsuit. That lawsuit was then taken to the U.S. Supreme Court and on March 22, 2004 the high court refused to hear the case or consider reversing the Fifth Circuit decision. See US Supreme Court, case 03-1018, State Concern Turkmenneft v. Bridas S.A.P.I.C.,

http://conlaw.usatoday.findlaw.com/supreme_court/orders/2003/032204pzor.html

The Bush Administration does not want any American knowing the truth about what happened in Afghanistan or that we breached a commercial contract with military force to take over a deal that was denied to US oil companies, because there was already a deal in place. Under the Clinton Administration they upended the Pakistan government to cut off that part of the Bridas Corporation deal. Under the Clinton Administration, they compelled Turkmenistan to breach its agreements with Bridas, hence the judgment award of $500 million for interference of contract.

The only remaining obstacle on 9-11 was the remaining agreement between the Taliban and Bridas Corporation.

The law firm of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw was the firm that kept Bridas tied up in court at Fifth Circuit and at the U.S. Supreme Court. Senior partner of that law firm, while these lawsuits were in progress, is Richard Ben Veniste, 9-11 Commission member. He put on quite a show at the 9-11 Commission while his law firm kept Bridas tied up in court and not a word said that someone else had beaten the US and our oil companies to the contracts. This is the same law firm that helped Andy Fastow at Enron set up all of those bogus offshore SPE [Special Purpose Entity] that were special just to steal from investors.

This nation is being led by a dishonest government that will tell any lie to carry out any objective where it involves money, greed and power. They care not at all what they do in our name or what they do to undermine our freedoms and what this nation has always stood for.

We have been giving much consideration as to what steps would have to be taken, and here are but a few: 1. Removal of all troops from Iraq, possible relocation of those armored divisions to Palestine; and

2. A series of Executive Orders that would shred the veils that this government hides behind. All investigations would be thrown wide open to public view, and all persons that deserve to be prosecuted would be prosecuted; and

3. Dismantling and re-defining of the Patriot Act so that it focuses on the problems, and not be used as a tool to undermine the Constitution and our freedoms; and

4. Fiscal sanity would start by reigning in the wasteful spending and the National Debt curve would start heading the other way; and

5. Possible price controls and definite investigation, prosecution of market manipulations; and

6. Barring of AIPAC from Capitol Hill due to them being a foreign lobbyist that is decidedly pro-Israel; and

7. Deregulation and breaking up the media monopolies and other monopolies that threaten this nation and the wellbeing of each and every one of us. None of us can make good decisions in a vacuum or when lies are being spoon fed to us.

California, the liberal bastion that it is, should support me for one simple reason. I would force the 21 energy companies that plundered the rate payers of California to reimburse that $5.5 to $7.5 billion they stole and Bush did nothing about it but dole out miniscule fines compared to the crime. That some of those 21 firms are involved in the big Caspian Basin oil deals is something that deserves a full investigation regarding the light nature of their fines. These are the same firms that sat in on the Cheney Energy Task Force that the Bush Administration does not want anyone to look into.

The Bush Administration, and the Clinton Administration to keep the record straight, does not want Americans to know about Bridas Corporation or that they had signed major oil and gas development agreements with Turkmenistan as early as 1992 and 1993. They then signed agreements with Pakistan and Afghanistan because the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline is one of but a few routes to get the landlocked Caspian Basin oil to the ocean and distributed around the world.

There is another route and that is through the former Russian state of Georgia. The leader of that nation, Georgian prime minister Zurab Zhvania decided he was against the oil pipelines coming through his nation and he wound up assassinated shortly after he made that fateful decision. Our press painted the picture that he was killed due to his coziness with the "West", but the fact is he was against our pipelines coming through Georgia. You do the math.

http://english.pravda.ru/world/20/92/371/15532_zhvania.html

Both the Bush and Clinton Administrations do not want Americans to know that Bridas was interfered with in Turkmenistan and Pakistan to isolate both the Taliban and Bridas Corporation regarding the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline, a pipeline that we now control through use of military force in Afghanistan and raises serious questions about our true motives in attacking Afghanistan following 9-11.

The Bush Administration does not want Americans to know that Bridas Corporation and their parent Bridas SAPIC, prevailed in our Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals regarding interference of contract in Turkmenistan. That decision was handed down from a US Court on September 9, 2003, while the 9-11 Commission and Bush Administration were in cover up mode on 9-11. Bridas SAPIC v. Government of Turkmenistan, et al., No, 02-20929, 5th Cir

http://www.asil.org/ilib/ilib0620.htm

The Bush Administration does not want Americans to know about the U.S. Supreme Court decision handed down on March 22, 2004, while the 9-11 Commission was still playing "Where's Waldo?" that the High Court denied the Writ of Certiorari and let the Fifth Circuit decision stand. Case Number 03-1018, Turkmenneft v Bridas S.A.P.I.C. See Certiorari Denied at this link:

http://supreme.lp.findlaw.com/supreme_court/orders/2003/032204pzor.html

You did not hear of this from Bush, Congress or the 9-11 Commission, and it is time you started asking why you did not hear about this from them.

How much oil is in the Caspian Basin? More then 200 billion barrels, a thirty-year supply and worth over $12 trillion dollars. For every day of 30 years, that is just shy of 10 supertankers full of 2 million barrels of oil. That is right - 10 supertankers a day for every day the next 30 years. That is the single biggest "motive" for any crime I have ever seen and was the probable reason that 9-11 was engineered so certain parties could take over that pipeline and that colossal oil and gas deal. How much natural gas? Reportedly as much as 12 trillion cubic meters, or about $3 trillion worth of natural gas on top of the vast oil reserves.

It is not my word against Bush and Clinton. The historical facts and US court records say all that needs to be said about the possible taint on our real motives of heading towards Afghanistan. If our motives for invading Afghanistan were a lie, just like Iraq has been, the matter needs to be looked into and possible charges brought against certain people. Just consider that Afghanistan and our actions there are directly tied to 9-11. I have met very few people that think the 9-11 Commission was doing its job rather than covering it up.

Did you know about Bridas Corporation? Did you know about Mr. Ben Veniste's law firm being involved the Caspian Basin and keeping Bridas Corporation tied up in the court case while he was sitting on the 9-11 Commission?

These 9-11 Commissioners all have vested financial reasons directly and indirectly to see 9-11 covered up as it was:

Republicans

Thomas Keane, 9-11 Commission chairman, Amerada Hess, tied to Big Oil and major deals in the Caspian Basin region

Fred Thompson, former Rep governor of Illinois, sits on the board of FMC and oil equipment subsidiary doing well in the Caspian Basin. Afghanistan pipeline needed to get that landlocked oil and natural gas to the oceans.

John F. Lehman, John F. Lehman & Company, Rep, former Secretary of the Navy, now a private equity firm directly involved in Big Defense

Fred Fielding, Rep, served on Bush transition team. Also sits on a board with Diane Allbaugh, oil industry lobbyist and wife of Joe Allbaugh, Bush Cheney 2000 campaign manager

Democrats

Richard Ben Veniste, senior partner Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw. Formerly was the lead counsel for Enron and all of those fraudulent offshore entities set up by Andy Fastow, and Mayer Brown used to share an office with Enron in Uzkekistan. Now Enron is Primus Energy, Cayman Islands, all former Enron International and former Halliburton people as management. Mayer Brown also kept Bridas tied up in court prior to, during and following 9-11, and while the 9-11 Commission was conducting a mock investigation. The name Bridas Corporation never came up publicly in any Congressional hearings or the 9-11 Commission.

Jamie Gorelick, sits on the board of Schlumberger, firm is raking in record profits from Caspian Basin business

Tim Roemer, has taken political donations for years while in Congress from Carlyle Group (Big Defense), Chevron (Big Oil and heavily involved in the Caspian Basin and Condoleezza Rice as former Chervon board member), and Van Scoyoc & Associates, major foreign lobbyist for Big Defense and Big Oil.

Any way you cut it, a 7 to 3 majority by people who have direct conflicts of interests is still a majority on the 9-11 Commission and makes it easy to cover up what really happened.

For those Americans that think Clinton had nothing to do with the lead up to invading Afghanistan over a pipeline we could not otherwise get control of, take a look at what self-acclaimed Neocon Max Boot, senior fellow Council for Foreign Relations had to say in an interview with the Christian Science Monitor: The Neocons tried for years to get Clinton to act.

"What type of foreign policy/security strategy would an Al Gore administration have set after Sept. 11? How different would it have been from the one that emerged from the Bush White House?

I think it's likely that the Gore administration would have invaded Afghanistan after 9/11. I think it's unlikely they would have invaded Iraq. That's the big difference."

They had been planning the takeover of that Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline for many years. If you understand that the same wealthy elite special interests own both parties in DC, you are understanding the gravity of the problem. Bridas started signing contracts with Turkmenistan, the north end of that pipeline in 1992 and 1993. That is a provable and documented fact and it was also long before any of our oil companies were welcome in the region. Bridas also saw the strategic importance of having a way to get the landlocked oil and gas to the ocean and the shortest route to do that is from Turkmenistan, through Afghanistan and Pakistan to an ocean port.

Max Boot also does us all a service by having a Neocon provide a definition as to what a Neocon really is at this link:

What The Heck Is A Neocon?

By Max Boot Wall Street Journal December 30, 2002

I have been called many names in my career -- few of them printable -- but the most mystifying has to be "neocon." I suppose I get labeled thus because I am associated, in a small way, with the Weekly Standard, which is known as a redoubt of "neoconservatism."

But what the heck is a neocon anyway in 2003? A friend of mine suggests it means the kind of right-winger a liberal wouldn't be embarrassed to have over for cocktails. That's as good a definition as any, since the term has clearly come unmoored from its original meaning.

'Mugged by Reality'

The original neocons were a band of liberal intellectuals who rebelled against the Democratic Party's leftward drift on defense issues in the 1970s. At first the neocons clustered around Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson, a Democrat, but then they aligned themselves with Ronald Reagan and the Republicans, who promised to confront Soviet expansionism. The neocons, in the famous formulation of one of their leaders, Irving Kristol, were "liberals mugged by reality."

They were never conservatives, only pretended to be.

The only solution I can see to restore America is to consolidate the third parties, the disaffected Republican and Democrats who have figured it out, and Take Back America before we have nothing left worth having to take back.

I cannot stress enough that no single person can take there people on and win. It will take a grassroots effort that equals or exceeds either the DNC or RNC. It will take money and lots of it to get the media and air time needed to get the message out to America. The 2004 presidential election was a $1 billion show between Bush, Kerry and their wealthy elite / corporate backers.

If Americans want change, they have to be prepared to match RNC and DNC at least dollar for dollar to make that change happen.

The Campaign Website is up and open for contributions at www.karlschwarz2008.com

http://www.karlschwarz2008.com/

It is time to Take Back America and that will require that all of us be in the front lines and not sitting back and watching the show. If you have the time, please forward this email update to all that you know, for their futures are at stake too.

Sincerely, Karl W. B. Schwarz

This Isn’t The Real America
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-carter14nov14%2C0%2C7164514.story

By Jimmy Carter, JIMMY CARTER was the 39th president of the United States. His newest book is "Our Endangered Values: America's Moral Crisis," published this month by Simon & Schuster.

IN RECENT YEARS, I have become increasingly concerned by a host of radical government policies that now threaten many basic principles espoused by all previous administrations, Democratic and Republican.

These include the rudimentary American commitment to peace, economic and social justice, civil liberties, our environment and human rights.

Also endangered are our historic commitments to providing citizens with truthful information, treating dissenting voices and beliefs with respect, state and local autonomy and fiscal responsibility.

At the same time, our political leaders have declared independence from the restraints of international organizations and have disavowed long-standing global agreements — including agreements on nuclear arms, control of biological weapons and the international system of justice.

Instead of our tradition of espousing peace as a national priority unless our security is directly threatened, we have proclaimed a policy of "preemptive war," an unabridged right to attack other nations unilaterally to change an unsavory regime or for other purposes. When there are serious differences with other nations, we brand them as international pariahs and refuse to permit direct discussions to resolve disputes.

Regardless of the costs, there are determined efforts by top U.S. leaders to exert American imperial dominance throughout the world.

These revolutionary policies have been orchestrated by those who believe that our nation's tremendous power and influence should not be internationally constrained. Even with our troops involved in combat and America facing the threat of additional terrorist attacks, our declaration of "You are either with us or against us!" has replaced the forming of alliances based on a clear comprehension of mutual interests, including the threat of terrorism.

Another disturbing realization is that, unlike during other times of national crisis, the burden of conflict is now concentrated exclusively on the few heroic men and women sent back repeatedly to fight in the quagmire of Iraq. The rest of our nation has not been asked to make any sacrifice, and every effort has been made to conceal or minimize public awareness of casualties.

Instead of cherishing our role as the great champion of human rights, we now find civil liberties and personal privacy grossly violated under some extreme provisions of the Patriot Act.

Of even greater concern is that the U.S. has repudiated the Geneva accords and espoused the use of torture in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, and secretly through proxy regimes elsewhere with the so-called extraordinary rendition program. It is embarrassing to see the president and vice president insisting that the CIA should be free to perpetrate "cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment" on people in U.S. custody.

Instead of reducing America's reliance on nuclear weapons and their further proliferation, we have insisted on our right (and that of others) to retain our arsenals, expand them, and therefore abrogate or derogate almost all nuclear arms control agreements negotiated during the last 50 years. We have now become a prime culprit in global nuclear proliferation. America also has abandoned the prohibition of "first use" of nuclear weapons against nonnuclear nations, and is contemplating the previously condemned deployment of weapons in space.

Protection of the environment has fallen by the wayside because of government subservience to political pressure from the oil industry and other powerful lobbying groups. The last five years have brought continued lowering of pollution standards at home and almost universal condemnation of our nation's global environmental policies.

Our government has abandoned fiscal responsibility by unprecedented favors to the rich, while neglecting America's working families. Members of Congress have increased their own pay by $30,000 per year since freezing the minimum wage at $5.15 per hour (the lowest among industrialized nations).

I am extremely concerned by a fundamentalist shift in many houses of worship and in government, as church and state have become increasingly intertwined in ways previously thought unimaginable.

As the world's only superpower, America should be seen as the unswerving champion of peace, freedom and human rights. Our country should be the focal point around which other nations can gather to combat threats to international security and to enhance the quality of our common environment. We should be in the forefront of providing human assistance to people in need.

It is time for the deep and disturbing political divisions within our country to be substantially healed, with Americans united in a common commitment to revive and nourish the historic political and moral values that we have espoused during the last 230 years.

I agree with everything in this last article except the McCarthy remark:

"Americans will one day look back on this period with the same revulsion and shame as they do on Joe McCarthy's era."

This is BS.

Once and for all McCarthy was right. If McCarthy would've succeeded in his mission then America would NOT BE IN THIS MESS.

He would've rooted out the Bolsheviks, Marxist-Leninists, Communists and Zionists who are working for Israel.

Senator Joseph McCarty's memory has been vilified like so many other Anti-Communists'; another case for historical revision.

<a href="http://www.darrenweeks.net/documents/mccarthy/acceptedasfact.html">Senator Joseph McCarthy's Charges 'now accepted as fact'</a>

By Jon Basil Utley
WorldNetDaily | February 8, 2000

WASHINGTON -- Although Joseph McCarthy was one of the most demonized American politicians of the last century, new information -- including half-century-old FBI recordings of Soviet embassy conversations -- are showing that McCarthy was right in nearly all his accusations.

"With Joe McCarthy it was the losers who've written the history which condemns him," said Dan Flynn, director of Accuracy in Academia's recent national conference on McCarthy, broadcast by C-SPAN.

Using new information obtained from studies of old Soviet files in Moscow and now the famous Vanona Intercepts -- FBI recordings of Soviet embassy communications between 1944-48 -- the record is showing that McCarthy was essentially right. He had many weaknesses, but almost every case he charged has now been proven correct. Whether it was stealing atomic secrets or influencing U.S. foreign policy, communist victories in the 1940s were fed by an incredibly vast spy and influence network.

The conference, a gathering of old McCarthyites and younger scholars, commemorated the senator's first speech, in Wheeling, West Virginia 50 years ago, when he first held up a list of names of employees of the State Department whom, he said, were major security risks. McCarthy questioned how, in six short years after America's winning of World War II, the communist world was triumphant and had expanded to include 800 million people.

Of the lists, a key one consisted of 108 names from a House Appropriations Committee report, of persons declared as "security risks" in the State Department -- the Lee List. The House committee chairman had complained that State wasn't bothering to do anything about the suspects. Details of the list and its accusations were presented at the conference.

Speakers detailed many of the cover-ups used to smear McCarthy. Veteran journalist and teacher Stan Evans, director of National Journalism Center, told of the Tydings Committee, which had investigated McCarthy's charges of communists in government. Its report had exonerated everybody. Among the accused it stated categorically that there was no evidence against Owen Lattimore, a man McCarthy said was a major figure in the communist conspiracy.

Lattimore had been Roosevelt's key advisor on China policy. Yet Evans showed evidence from 5,000 pages of FBI files on him -- files released only a few years ago to the public, although the White House had access to them.

However, evidence before the committee showed that Lattimore had supported Soviet policy at every turn, even declaring that the Stalin purge trials in Russia, "sound like democracy to me." With then-Vice President Henry Wallace in Russia, Lattimore compared concentration camps to the Tennessee Valley Authority, and later urged Washington to abandon China to communism and to withdraw from Japan and Korea. FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover, who had fed information to McCarthy, broke with him afterwards, fearing McCarthy would prejudice FBI sources of information for its criminal prosecutions.

Although most of McCarthy's cases involved actual spies and "security risks," the really important issue was that of communist influence over American foreign policy, argued Evans. Harry Hopkins, Roosevelt's closest advisor who lived in the White House, had regular contacts with Soviet intelligence. He helped bring about the disastrous Yalta and Pottsdam agreements. The Morganthau Plan, to prevent German reconstruction and starve the Germans to make them desperate enough to go communist, was the product of Laughlin Currie and Harry Dexter White at the Treasury Department. The abandonment of Chiang Kai-shek by denying military support was the product of "China Hands" led by John Stewart Service, John Patton Davies, and Lattimore. Evans described other major spy networks -- in England, the Burgess Maclean group which infiltrated Washington as well as London.

Reed Irvine, chairman of Accuracy in Media, told how he himself had been a leftist in his early career. He had been against McCarthy, but McCarthy's speeches had made him think and start to read "evidence that I had avoided." He described how all during his military career as a Marine officer and later in Japan with the U.S. occupation he had never hidden his leftist views and later had even been offered a job at the CIA. Irvine argued that real communists were only in the hundreds, but that thousands of leftists, such as he, all feared McCarthy and had wanted him discredited.

Pulling all the latest evidence together was luncheon speaker Professor Arthur Herman. His new book, "Joseph McCarthy: Reexamining the Life and Legacy of America's Most Hated Senator," and featured in the Sunday New York Times Magazine, shows the vindication of most of McCarthy's charges. Herman, who is also coordinator of the Smithsonian's Western Heritage Program, said that the accuracy of McCarthy's charges "was no longer a matter of debate," that they are "now accepted as fact." However, the term "McCarthyism" still remains in the language.

Asked whether McCarthy had understood all the forces arrayed against him, Herman said no, that McCarthy hadn't realized he'd be fighting against much of the Washington establishment. President Truman was fearful that exposures would reflect on key Democrat officials, he said, and big media and the academic world were very leftist, a heritage of the Depression and World War II. High government officials also feared investigations of their past appointments and associations with people who turned out to be communists or sympathizers.

That was the reason McCarthy was so demonized, he said.

Joe McCarthy had been a Marine air gunner, an amateur boxer, a county judge and towards his end, under constant attack, he began to drink heavily. Herman said he certainly was over his head and his fall came about after sweeping attacks on General Marshall and the Army. Senator Taft and other key supporters began to draw away from him.

If Robert Kennedy, his competent and well-connected co-counsel, had stayed on, McCarthy might have behaved more carefully, said Herman. An argument with other co-counsel Roy Cohn left Cohn in charge, but Cohn and staffer David Schine were disastrous for McCarthy. Still, McCarthy's original charges helped bring about Eisenhower's electoral victory and the defeat of the Democrats and key leftist Democratic senators such as Tydings of Maryland. Four years after his original charges, Joe McCarthy was censured by the Senate and died shortly thereafter.

On the evening of May 1, 1957, while convalescing from a bout of hepatitis at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, the courageous Senator was quietly administered poisonous carbon tetrachloride by persons unknown. (Eight years earlier the CIA had murdered Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal, in that same hospital. Forrestal had been working on an expose of Soviet espoinage rings in the Pentagon and treason in the Truman Administration when he was suddenly silenced in 1949).

There is more evidence to come. Herb Rome Stein, another speaker, who started out with the old House Un-American Activities Committee, is writing a book about the Vanona FBI intercepts and their links to other evidence from his comprehensive study in Russia of Soviet archives, made available to Westerners since the fall of communism. His book, The Vanona Secrets, will be released by Regnery Gateway this fall.

Draken, McCarthy was so right that the left was forced to pursue its only remaining option to prevent full exposure -- to push the Senator to overextend himself so that he could be ultimately discredited.
First they built him up, using covert promises of unconditional support from the highest circles of American society and encouraging him that the gravity of the issue he was exposing meant that the end justified the means. When he stepped over the line in his fanatic pursuit of the truth, they were there to kick the chair out from under him as planned all along.
While McCarthy can be rightly construed a victim of his ego, his drinking and whatever other human foibles his enemies were able to unscrupulously take advantage of, the truth remains that the problem he exposed really did exist and has only gotten worse.

McCarthy was assassinated by poison. He had not been able to consume alcohol for several months so that's a lie.

"Shortly after the hearings, Sen. McCarthy’s health began to fail. This is not an unusual experience for those who oppose the conspirators, which is a distinctly unhealthy occupation. It is the trail of a multitude of deaths. His illness “baffled” the physicians who treated him at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, the same institution where Forrestal was hurled to his death. McCarthy’s health went steadily and rapidly downhill to his death in the institution.

"McCarthy’s medical attendant issued a death certificate and a statement to the press that indicated to the informed that he had been murdered in some unknown fashion. The death certificate read: “Cause of death: Acute hepatitis, CAUSE UNKNOWN.”

"Simultaneously the physician released a statement to the press that Sen. McCarthy had not suffered from an infection that caused the symptoms of hepatitis. To understand the medical significance of these facts, one must bear in mind that hepatitis may develop as a manifestation of either an infection or of poisoning. Since the hospital made it quite clear in its press release that the cause of the hepatitis and death was not infection, the inference to be drawn from the death certificate is obvious.

"The laws of the land dictate that the deaths due to unknown causes must be investigated by postmortem examinations to eliminate the possibility of murder. Such postmortems are compulsory and routine. There may be no interference with them by anyone. And no consent is required of the surviving members of the family. Burial of the corpses without postmortems is a felony under both local and federal laws.

"No move was made by the conspirators to comply with the law and determine by postmortem what caused McCarthy’s death. A number of McCarthy’s associates and intimates, including his hometown friend, Mr. Engel, who acted on behalf of his family, approached this author with the request that he attempt to induce the authorities involved to order that an autopsy be done on the corpse to determine the unknown cause of his death and to eliminate the possibility of murder.

"This author requested compliance with the law, by phone, of all the officials in the various parts of the country who were involved, including: officials of the Bethesda Naval Hospital; officials of Montgomery County, Maryland, where the hospital is located; officials of the District of Columbia; federal officials; officials of the state of Wisconsin; and officials of Appleton, Wisconsin, McCarthy’s home town. These efforts to secure compliance with the law met with no success. Each official “passed the buck.” The excuse that they offered for their disregard of the law was: “Mrs. McCarthy objects to an autopsy.”

"None of them explained why it was that the wishes of any McCarthy, including his recently acquired wife, superseded the criminal laws of the land. It did not seem to matter to the responsible officials that their failure to comply with the law put them in the position of being accomplices after the fact in a felony, in a possible murder. Obviously, extremely powerful influence bore on the matter."

...

"To set at rest the suspicions of murder raised by the McCarthy death certificate and the inquiries launched into the matter, Drew Pearson falsely alleged in his syndicated column that the hepatitis had been caused by alcoholism. In so doing, he cast a serious reflection on the reputations of the Bethesda Hospital physicians. For they would be poor specimens of the profession if they could not recognize cirrhosis resulting from the vitamin B deficiency caused by alcohol abuse, and treat it accordingly. Sen. McCarthy’s associates vouch for the fact that he had not been able to take liquor because of his illness for many months prior to his development of the hepatitis. Whatever poison precipitated his death, they attest that it was not alcohol. The obvious purpose of the Pearson column was to draw a “red herring” across the conspirators’ trail."

"Our Constitution was ratified by the ninth state on June 21, 1788, and was declared to be effective on March 4, 1789. George Washington was inaugurated as our first President on April 30, 1789.

Congress submitted the first ten amendments to the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights, on September 25, 1789. They were adopted on December 15, 1791. It should be emphasized that these rights were the ]u\unalienable rights granted to the people by God[/u], not by the government. The Bill of Rights expressly prohibits the government from infringing on these rights.

Also in 1791, the Coinage Act of 1791 was passed. This Act established the exact amounts of gold or silver in each denomination of coin. This Act was never repealed."

"The Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) was created for the purpose of gaining control of the United States economically, politically and spiritually in slow, gradual steps, using the principles of Fabian Socialism. Over the years, the CFR has become the hidden government of the United States, implementing its socialistic policies regardless of the political party in power."

"From 1836 until 1913, when the Federal Reserve Act was snuck through Congress, the United States did not have a central bank. It is no coincidence that this period of time marked the greatest real economic growth in the history of our nation. There was sound banking, virtually no inflation and very little unemployment."

This bill restores the First Amendment rights of consumers to receive truthful information regarding the benefits of foods and dietary supplements by codifying the First Amendment standards used by federal courts to strike down the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) efforts to censor truthful health claims. The Health Freedom Protection Act also stops the Federal Trade Commissions (FTC) from censoring truthful health care claims.

The American people have made it clear they do not want the federal government to interfere with their access to dietary supplements, yet the FDA and the FTC continue to engage in heavy-handed attempts to restrict such access. The FDA continues to frustrate consumers’ efforts to learn how they can improve their health even after Congress, responding to a record number of constituents’ comments, passed the Dietary Supplement and Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). FDA bureaucrats are so determined to frustrate consumer access to truthful information that they are even evading their duty to comply with four federal court decisions vindicating consumers’ First Amendment rights to discover the health benefits of foods and dietary supplements.

FDA bureaucrats have even refused to abide by the DSHEA section allowing the public to have access to scientific articles and publications regarding the role of nutrients in protecting against diseases by claiming that every article concerning this topic is evidence of intent to sell a drug.

Because of the FDA’s censorship of truthful health claims, millions of Americans may suffer with diseases and other health care problems they may have avoided by using dietary supplements. For example, the FDA prohibited consumers from learning how folic acid reduces the risk of neural tube defects for four years after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended every woman of childbearing age take folic acid supplements to reduce neural tube defects. This FDA action contributed to an estimated 10,000 cases of preventable neutral tube defects!

The FDA also continues to prohibit consumers from learning about the scientific evidence that glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are effective in the treatment of osteoarthritis; that omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of sudden death heart attack; and that calcium may reduce the risk of bone fractures.

The Health Freedom Protection Act will force the FDA to at last comply with the commands of Congress, the First Amendment, and the American people by codifying the First Amendment standards adopted by the federal courts. Specifically, the Health Freedom Protection Act stops the FDA from censoring truthful claims about the curative, mitigative, or preventative effects of dietary supplements, and adopts the federal court’s suggested use of disclaimers as an alternative to censorship. The Health Freedom Protection Act also stops the FDA from prohibiting the distribution of scientific articles and publications regarding the role of nutrients in protecting against disease.

This legislation also addresses the FTC’s violations of the First Amendment. Under traditional First Amendment jurisprudence, the federal government bears the burden of proving an advertising statement false before censoring that statement. However, the FTC has reversed the standard in the case of dietary supplements by requiring supplement manufactures to satisfy an unobtainable standard of proof that their statement is true. The FTC’s standards are blocking innovation in the marketplace.

The Health Freedom Protection Act requires the government bear the burden of proving that speech could be censored. This is how it should be in a free, dynamic society. The bill also requires that the FTC warn parties that their advertising is false and give them a chance to correct their mistakes.

Mr. Speaker, if we are serious about putting people in charge of their health care, then shouldn’t we stop federal bureaucrats from preventing Americans from learning about simple ways to improve their health. I therefore call on my colleagues to stand up for good health care and the First Amendment by cosponsoring the Health Freedom Protection Act.

Freedom? What freedom?
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article11192.htm

We have freely built an arsenal to surround ourselves with. Every weapon man could imagine – closing the doors on our freedoms.

War is the total loss of freedom. War confines, war dictates, war destroys. War demands that one control another – and yet no one is in control.

Freedom means controlling oneself so that no one else can control you. freedom does not mean imposing your “rightness” on another.

Freedom is respect – respect that has been earned because we know the value of that freedom – hard earned, not by killing others. Freedom is earned by staying committed to a standard, a set of principles. Freedom means that no one, regardless of what they do, will allow us to fall from the standard of integrity that we have chosen for ourselves. Moral Courage.

Freedom looks at another, not as an enemy because he thinks differently and not to give us the right to tell him he is wrong . Freedom looks at another and understands the value of what he has earned – his differences – his being RIGHT – for himself – and Freedom honors those differences because they were hard earned – because he holds himself to his own standards.

Freedom allows differences – for without differences how would we ever grow stronger in our humanity? How would we ever remain free?

America is not free. Americans don’t know freedom. Americans know fear –and so America goes to war. We will continue to imprison or destroy anyone who disagrees – as long as we fear facing the question of being wrong.

Who made America right? What will it take to make America free?

The Federal Government - Endlessly Susceptible To Corruption ??? - :-o :-o :-o

The Federal Government - Endlessly Susceptible To Corruption

Scandals Are A Symptom, Not A Cause - by Ron Paul

January 9, 2006

"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." - James Madison

The Washington political scandals dominating the news in recent weeks may be disheartening, but they cannot be considered surprising. We live in a time when the U.S. government is the largest and most powerful state in the history of the world. Today's federal government consists of fifteen huge departments, hundreds of agencies, thousands of programs, and millions of employees. It spends 2.4 trillion dollars in a single year. The possibilities for corruption in such an immense and unaccountable institution are endless.

Americans understandably expect ethical conduct from their elected officials in Washington. But the whole system is so out of control that it's simply unrealistic to place faith in each and every government official in a position to sell influence. The larger the federal government becomes, the more it controls who wins and who loses in our society. The temptation for lobbyists to buy votes-- and the temptation for politicians to sell them-- is enormous. Indicting one crop of politicians and bringing in another is only a temporary solution. The only effective way to address corruption is to change the system itself, by radically downsizing the power of the federal government in the first place. Take away the politicians' power and you take away the very currency of corruption.

Undoubtedly the recent revelations will ignite new calls for campaign finance reform. However, we must recognize that that campaign finance laws place restrictions only on individuals, not politicians. Politicians will continue to tax and spend, meaning they will continue to punish some productive Americans while rewarding others with federal largesse. The same vested special interests will not go away, and the same influence peddling will happen every day on Capitol Hill.

The reason is very simple: when the federal government redistributes trillions of dollars from some Americans to others, countless special interests inevitably will fight for the money. The rise in corruption in Washington simply mirrors the rise in federal spending. The fundamental problem is not with campaigns or politicians primarily, but rather with popular support for the steady shift from a relatively limited, constitutional federal government to the huge leviathan of today.

We need to get money out of government. Only then will money not be important in politics. It's time to reconsider exactly what we want the federal government to be in our society. So long as it remains the largest and most powerful institution in the nation, it will remain endlessly susceptible to corruption.

Returning To Constitutional Government
Returning to constitutional government is the only way to ensure that our republican institutions will not be corrupted by powerful interests seeking special privileges.

Statement on H.Res 648 - by Honorable, Ron Paul of Texas
HON. RON PAUL OF TEXAS
February 1, 2006

Statement on H.Res 648

Mr. Speaker, anyone who doubts that empty symbolism often trumps substance in Washington only needs to consider the first item of business for the House of Representatives in this new year: banning former members of Congress who are lobbyists from using the House gym. This bill is being rushed to the floor in order to assure the American people that Congress is “cracking down” on lobbying practices in response to recent scandals

This measure does nothing to address the root cause of the scandals--the ever-growing size and power of the federal government. As long the federal government continues to regulate, tax, and subsidize the American people, there will be attempts to influence those who write the laws and regulations under which the people must live. Human nature being what it is, there will also be those lobbyists and policymakers who manipulate the power of the regulatory state to enrich themselves. I have said before, and I fear I will have plenty of opportunity to say it again: the only way to get special interest money and influence out of politics is to get the money and power out of Washington. Instead of passing new regulations and laws regulating the people’s right to petition their government, my colleagues should refuse to vote for any legislation that violates the constitutional limits on federal power or enriches a special interest at the expense of American taxpayers. Returning to constitutional government is the only way to ensure that our republican institutions will not be corrupted by powerful interests seeking special privileges.

Congress Should Have Time To Read Bills Before Voting - :-o :-o :-o

Congress Should Have Time To Read Bills Before Voting
HON. RON PAUL OF TEXAS
Before the U.S. House of Representatives

March 3, 2006

Statement On The "Sunlight Rule"

Mr. Speaker, Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis famously said, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.” In order to shine sunlight on the practices of the House of Representatives, and thus restore public trust and integrity to this institution, I am introducing the "Sunlight Rule." This measure amends House rules to ensure members have adequate time to study a bill before being asked to vote on it. One of the chief causes of increasing public cynicism is the way major pieces of legislation are brought to the floor without members having an opportunity to read the bills. This is particularly a problem with the Appropriations committee conference reports, which are often rushed to the floor of the House in late-night sessions at the end of the year. For example, just this past December the House voted on the fiscal year 2006 Defense Appropriations conference report at approximately four a.m.--just four hours after the report was filed. Yet the report contained language dealing with avian flu, including controversial language regarding immunity liability for vaccine manufacturers, that was added in the House-Senate conference on the bill. Considering legislation on important issues in this manner is a dereliction of our duty as the people’s elected representatives.

My proposed rule requires that no piece of legislation, including conference reports, can be brought before the House of Representatives unless it has been available to members and staff both in print and electronic versions for at least ten days. My bill also requires that a manager’s amendment making substantive changes to a bill be available in both printed and electronic forms at least 72 hours before a vote. While manager’s amendments usually are reserved for technical changes, oftentimes manager’s amendments contain substantive additions to bills in the form of pork. Members should be made aware of such changes before being asked to vote on a bill.

The Sunlight Rule provides the American people the opportunity to be involved in enforcing congressional rules by allowing citizens to move for censure of any Representative who votes for a bill brought to the floor in violation of this act. The Sunlight Rule can never be waived by the Rules committee or House leadership. If an attempt is made to bring a bill to the floor in violation of this rule, any member can raise a point of order requiring the bill to be immediately pulled from the House calendar.

Mr. Speaker, the practice of rushing bills to the floor before individual members have a chance to study them contributes to public distrust of Congress. Voting on bills before members read them makes a mockery of representative government and cheats voters who sent us here to make informed decisions on public policy. Adopting the Sunlight Rule is one of the most important changes to House rules this Congress could make to restore public trust and help preserve the integrity of this institution. I hope my colleagues will support this change to House rules.

A 20th Century Reflection – For the “Needy Greedy” Of The 21st Century - :-o :-o :-o

A 20th Century Reflection – For the “Needy Greedy” Of The 21st Century

A 20th Century Reflection – For the “Needy Greedy” Of The 21st Century

In the 20th Century the masses used to think that “Right is on the side of the Active-Aggressor.” Well that philosophy proved wrong. We, the thinking people, know that is just plain wrong. An Active-Aggressor could be just any “idiot or madman.” Now we know that the “Active-Aggressor” was just a bully taking advantage of a weaker one. Look at some recent examples. Iraq. If we would have intelligently, & w/ the “Checks & Balances” of Congress, looked at the available evidence, listened to the expert’s findings that Iraq was not a threat, Iraq was not involved in 911, & that Iraq was not in possession of WMDs, the American economy would by now have “Billions of dollars” at its disposal to instead invest in creating the jobs the Bush administration gave away to NWO's “Needy & Greedy” transnational corporations & CEOs.

The American citizen (& for that matter any "true freedom" seeker of the world) feels deservedly abandoned.

So if you have any brains left in the 21st Century you’d,

Think before you act,
Reflect,
Take a deep breath, &
Reconsider, before you act, unless of course you are defending yourself from a direct attack from an “idiot active-aggressor.”

When wrong (fabricating false evidence, posing as a drug dealer, or a whore) is right (when enacted by the police), hostilities are peaceful when initiated by the government, peaceful demonstrations are hostile when initiated by citizens, & attacking someone because they could turn bad (such as Saddam) has become the ideology of the “bullies of the world,” we know we are up for some dark times ahead.

Humanity is on a retrograde path.

Thank God for "Freedom Of Speech"...
