That would relinquish our dependency on central banks wouldn't it?

And we would have all this underground economy wealth that couldn't be collected by the government :-P :-P :-P :-P

If we all started making our own clothes,
just like Levi's Jeans, would we be saved?
Maybe.

A better way is called a competitive market
and the division of labor concept. Anyone should be free
to start their own clothes manufacturing
business tomorrow morning. Likewise,anyone
should be free to start their own
money manufacturing business tomorrow morning.
Do we need Corporate Fascism with
clothes or money run by a private
company and given a monopoly? No.

Many agree with that and think they are
geniuses for knowing that the Fed is
privately owned. Then these same know-it-alls
who are very conspicuous on this site suggest
State Communism as a solution. Let a
government monopoly take care of it and charge
no interest. Have the state issue it's own currency. I can already envision 40+ percent
currency inflation under this system and as
a result the prices of
goods and services rising 40% per year.

Having a state monopoly for money
would not work for the same reasons
it has not worked in any other industry.
There are 1,001 good books available
on the corruption of the state and the
immorality of communism. It would not
work because of the "criminality"
inherent in the state.

A private AND COMPETITIVE
( many suppliers ) is the real, moral solution that works.

The only possible role for the State and their police
would be to prosecute people for criminal
acts like stealing clothes or counterfeiting
money. And that my friends is the simple
easy solution that solves all questions
and problems in the currency
business once and for all. But there are
a lot of government intellectuals
and investment newsletter writers who
make a good living by keeping
the waters muddied and avoiding at all costs
a final, single and simple solution. So expect
the debate to continue and only two
solutions offered, Corporate Fascism or
Government Communism. But never suggest
what works in every other business, a private
AND COMPETITIVE free-enterprise market.

Elaboration:
A private AND COMPETITIVE ( many suppliers )
money manufacturing industry
is the real, moral solution that works.
I say competitive because many people say
"but the federal reserve system is already
privately owned". Yes but it has an illegal
government enforced monopoly and that is not
a laissez-faire free enrerprise market.
So conceivably with competition you could
have 100 different currencies in Canada
and 1000 different currencies in the US
with all the benefits of real competion.

Whenever someone questions the number of companies a country "should" have
I like to respond with the number 999 trillion,
just to sarcastically make the point that the
number is not the issue, but only the
fact that there should be as many as the
free market wants, whatever that number is,
just like in any other industry.
