Default Fuel from Coal @ $55 per barrel?

Found this interesting article, claiming the technology is available to cleanly produce
$55 barrel oil from coal.

Quote:

The Department of Energy agrees. DOE has looked at designs they think can take the filthiest, lowest grade coal, cleanse it of pollutants, convert it to liquid fuels, and capture and store the resulting carbon dioxide.

The processes work well in tests, and, on a commercial scale, DOE estimates a cost equivalent to oil at about $55 per barrel. With current prices somewhere north of $130 and expected to go higher, it's time to find out if they are right. Required facilities can be brought online in a few years. Nothing else on the horizon has that potential.

So they are saying it costs $55/Bbl to convert coal to oil to burn the oil in a power plant while it costs $0/Bbl to burn coal in the power plant.

Now which option do you think makes more economic sense? What do you think the energy industry is doing to make the power to let you have lights and to power your computer.

You and your ilk are merely the tools of the likes of the Rothchilds and other bankers that use disinformation to waste money on unecessary technology, which no doubt they funded and own, which will end up in their pockets and will be of no benefit to us in the long run.

You want to do something to reduce dependence on oil? Stop using electricity and your computer and start using public transportation or riding your bike to the gas station you probably work at.

"" claiming the technology is available to cleanly produce

and I just heard that BOXER just introduced a federal energy bill....which, in the end, will shove the price of oil right up our collective sphincters...

They'll keep dangling that carrot [ hope for relief ] in front of the donkey,

but I doubt they'll ever follow thru, unless they can make us pay more,

not less...because after all is said and done, they still are and will always be...WHORES.

OPEC. What a great creation.

They set the price of oil, do they not?

Based upon what?

Is there a shortage or something?

No real shortage.

Just whores getting creative in pumping up the price of something worth

15 $ a barrel.

This is a great political football, to keep the masses busy and broke,

while the real and more important news about our laws being changed,

goes unreported unlike the way the hyped oil does.
