Starvation and The QE2
"his planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy." - Douglas Adams
Current events are panning out EXACTLY as they did in 1345AD, the worst depression that the world has even known.
Since 2007, maybe as early as late 2007, the world has been eating more grain than it produces, but "balanced the books" by having an investment bubble that is no better than buying into a chain letter.
And so the grain warehouses that had been overflowing are now running out. As a result, grain prices have soared. In 2010 alone the following foods have risen according to the National Inflation Association:-
- Wheat is up 84 per cent.
- Corn is up 63 per cent.
- Sugar is up 55 per cent.
- Soybeans are up 22 per cent.
Stimulus packages and the QE2 stuff is merely convincing people to live beyond their means. Furthermore, there is good reason to suggest that, just as in 1345AD, the total production of grain will actually plummet in the near future.
It is creepily ironic that Baba Vanga said that it was events in indonesia that will start World War Three. 1815 was known as the year without summer as a result of the eruption of Mount Merapi, showing ash across the northern hemisphere's atmosphere and wrecking crops. It is also the year of Napoleon's triumphant return and the Battle of Waterloo twhere he was only stopped from reeking havoc again across Europe by the genius of the Irish General Wellesley. Now Merapi and a whole slew of other volcanoes are all about to go bang in Indonesia and elsewhere within days.
The obsession with QE2 will put most of the US and the western world in a wooden box. It is simply a haenous waste of resources at a time when we are on the verge of a true holocaust of humanity which will be passed off as Iran or Israel's fault, yet triggered by us focusing on a paper bubble when the fundamentals of thew world are turning as black as the ace of spades.
