What is the biggest sin?
I was thinking that self centredness might cover a lot of the bases. Idolatry of the self.

Re: What is the biggest sin?
The human is purely self center. You are fully encased in a calcium box. You never experience anything except the reality created in your brain. If this is not true then prove it by experiencing anything that is not relayed solely by your brain. to be Self centered is all you are. Sin is transgression of the law. How can you transgress what you are.

Re: What is the biggest sin?
There are other people in the world, and you can experience that in your brain. There is a difference between thinking of your brains' casing 24/7 and considering the other souls out there.

Leviathan, you said if you left the others would come.
I said leave and you agreed to leave. In fact, you practically wrote a legal brief before you left. Now, you've posted that the others have come; however, you're still here and they came anyway. Seems your presence doesn't make a difference. SO GO!! Leviathan, you said if you left the others would come. I said leave and you agreed to leave. Re: What is the biggest sin?
peace be upon you,
The only unforgivable sin is idol-worship, [4:116] GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death), and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray. Idol worship is simply to be bound in slavery to a creature (the ego, a person or a thing), either through obsession, addiction (attraction) or unjustified hate or fear (repulsion). This happens whne we accept Satan's polytheistic idea that the creatures may have powers (skill, beauty, wisdom...etc) on their own, independent of God. To submit to God alone means attributing all power to God alone, only this way we can redeem ouselves. [2:165] Yet, some people set up idols to rival GOD, and love them as if they are GOD. Those who believe love GOD the most. If only the transgressors could see themselves when they see the retribution! They will realize then that all power belongs to GOD alone, and that GOD's retribution is awesome. Idolizing the saints, prophets, i.e: Jesus, Mary, Muhammad, the pope is an extreme form of idolatery. Idol-worship is the reason behind all the misery, disease and disasters in this world, God willing a wake up call is coming very soon, check the prophecy on my website. |
Re: What is the biggest sin?
Here are the three biggest sins
in my view. 1. Collecting a paycheck from the State. 2. Collecting a paycontract from the State. 3. Borrowing money from a fractional reserve bank. This really comes under the heading of Pride ( self-conceit, self-centeredness ). For instance, did you know that someone actually had to pay for that government check that you receive? A family somewhere had to cut back on food, clothing, shelter AND NUMBER OF CHILDREN. "Lives lost" ( worse than murder actually ) so the State worker/State paycontract collector could parasitically live off stolen money called taxation. But they are too self-centered to think of the consequences to others. Also, the State worker will complain about taxes or the government, not realising that they themselves are the government. Since ALL TAXATION IS THEFT it means that all State workers of any kind must immediately quit their jobwelfare because their entire paycheck is stolen money. But they are too self-centered to connect the dots here also. If you borrow money from a bank ( ask the bank to legally counterfeit the money supply ) then you are stealing money from the general population because the increased supply of money causes prices of goods and services to rise for others. People are too self-centered to care about the devastating consequences to others of their mortgage loan. If you can't afford it then don't buy it. There is no Illuminati, just 500,000,000 people collecting a State paycheck/contract and 500,000,000 people asking fractional reserve banks to legally counterfeit the money supply so that they can have a charge-card or car or house that they covet ( can't really afford ). So yes Pride is the major sin with people marginalising or minimizing the effects on other families of the sinners' participation in Statist theft and fraud. |
Re: What is the biggest sin?
The biggest sin, I believe, is the sin many of us are committing against this Earth. This is our home and we should really be against those that try to destroy the Earth in any way. Profit and greed can't be all there is. If the Earth dies we do. Will God be happy if we kill the most beautiful planet we know. The Mother of our very life.

Re: What is the biggest sin?
Not being able to say you're sorry.
The Kingdom of God is within you. One day we'll all work it out. There is a difference between "Ego worship" and "Self worship". Knowing what comes from the heart and what comes from a power seeking ego would help. |
