Is there a way of seeing you have new mesages other than going to the home page all the time?

My inbox is usually missing and the PM feature is gone completely. It is difficult for me to check my messages and impossible to send them.

If you are logged on, goto left pane and select home and it will display 8-)

It inly shows if I am on the homepage, not once I enter any other areas of the site.

No big deal, just thought I might be missing something.
