Trip report for GWB
 

A German friend got extremely irate today. It seems he just read a German newspaper story about the behavior of Bush and company during their visit to Germany. Bush was extremely rude to Schroder. Upon getting out of the plane Schroder went up be the first to welcome King George and his secret service entourage pushed him back. Other agents of the SS took over the air traffic control tower and held up 150 flights just so Bush's limos could cross 2 runways uniterrupted. All in all Bush behaved as predicted, he behaved as the emperor of the world, unconcerned with reasonable and proper etiquette and diplomatic protocols. Once again asshole embarrasses us all.

Sure! just look around in our daily behavior of most people: "we're stupid, but we're ALL THAT"!!
I see it as clear as the nose on my face. I can't talk for others, but what I see with this "high horse" attitude in the U.S. is just nauseating.
