Thanks: Due Process = probable cause = 14th Amendment - Hey! There's that pesky Constitution again!!!
However, when Israel approved torture of terror suspects, it was under the "Ticking Bomb" umbrella which validated the act (not really, but that was the logic behind it). Well, soon after that, every situation became a "Ticking Bomb" so almost every suspect of interest was tortured. Let's hope that "Probable Cause" is not manufactured through laundered information, etc. simply to fit the letter of the law and not the spirit of it. |

And now the CEO of Quest refuses to be probed. It's against the law.
This is not "status quo"; in fact, it's not even very difficult if you have the same amount of training that every police officer needs in order to detain and arrest someone. Once again: do not trust a civilian organization to perform military or police operations. Oh, and check out the Fourth Amendment, too! |
