Soy in our Food
I don't know the reason why SOY is in so many of our food products and/or why many babies are unable to digest milk and, therefore, placed on a soy milk product.
I read recently that the estrogens contained in soy can cause the feminization of males. I don't know if this is true or not. I'm not saying that it is. I haven't yet researched this topic as much as I would like to. I recently wrote a letter to Bumblee Bee tuna inquiring as to why their tuna contains soy. I did not receive an answer other than to say it is in their product. Any "serious" comments or information on the subject would be appreciated. In Peace, BlueAngel |

Re: Soy in our Food
The SOY thing really annoys me. Seriously, why do you need soy in tuna that is packed in water?
I buy tuna in water to avoid oil. I asked BUMBLE BEE a simple question and I did not receive a reply. When they're pushing something on us, forcing us to ingest it, well, you know, that just makes me VERY SUSPICIOUS. One thing that perplexes me is the fact that so many children cannot digest cow's milk and are now being raised on SOY. So, then I have to wonder. Why is this? Why are they unable to digest cow's milk? This is not as it has always been. Why are so many kids allergic to foods? I'm wondering if Soy is an allergen producer. My son, who drank soy when he was young, can have life-threatening, anaphalaxic shock, reactions to everyday foods such as peanut butter. In Peace, Blue Angel Thanks for the post IGWT! |
Re: Soy in our Food
A little bit of Soy may be good for adults.
It can combat cancer, but at the same time, too much soy is carcinogenic. I think cancer can be caused by too much testosterone in men, or a lack of estrogens in women. So soy can combat breast and prostate cancer. |

If you are not a medical professional who has researched this topic and knows the information you present herein to be fact and not fiction, perhaps you shouldn't advice others what is good and what is not.
Just a suggestion. In Peace, BlueAngel |
