Texas Temple Tussle
Something is going on in Texas, a Waco type event.
Last night, I checked the news, and all appeared calm at the LDS Temple in Texas, where 200 people have been removed after a
young girls claim of abuse.
This mornings headline is
Polygamists bar police from entering Mormon temple.
FORT WORTH, Texas (AFP) — Police and members of a polygamist sect under investigation for possible child abuse are locked in a standoff over access to a Mormon temple where a suspected victim was believed to be held, local media reported.
"In preparing for entry to the temple, law enforcement is preparing for the worst," Allison Palmer, an assistant district attorney told The San Angelo Standard Times on Saturday.
They want to have "medical personnel on hand in case this were to go in a way that no one wants," she added.

I don't get it. One minute, they were allowing authorities to remove people, now there is a standoff? When did things suddenly change.
They are talking about how they have a warrant to search the property, but they are insisting on removing EVERYONE.
Does a warrant give them this authority. Surely, everyone in the compound hasn't committed a crime.
I'm not standing up for their beliefs or ideas, but they are protected by the constitution just like we are. I don't like this development at all.
What's got me concerned is the conflicting reporting. CNN is reporting,
all is fine, all is calm. There is no resistance.
My Yahoo webpage states,
"Conflict escalates at polygamist retreat"
Either someone is stretching the truth,
or CNN is not reporting the facts.
Could someone help me get to the bottom
of this discrepency?
