The Recession

They've admitted it.

As if we didn't know.

One half million jobs lost this month.

The worst recession in thirty years.

Thank you George Bush and Company.

The man actually had the nerve to say that he's hoping the action they've taken will help get the economy back on track.

Huh?

What action?

Bailing out the banks and the automakers.

I guess we should look forward to another stimulus package from the Obama camp.

WOW!

$300.00 a piece.

Nice.

I mean, that should really help all those people who have lost their jobs; their homes; are without health care; unable to provide for their families.

The homeless shelters are packed.

Re: The Recession

I feel lucky to find a job when i did, and am encouraging my friends who are slackers in that front to find jobs, or apply themselves better to the ones they have. Pretty soon it'll start getting even harder to find jobs than it is, and even sooner the companies will start cutting the fat.
They can't keep shoving money into it, pretending to fix it. The only way to fix it is to set the ecnomy back to where it can maintain itself.

Re: The Recession

I'm glad to see stuff like that is going on.

Reminds me of a story that was in the paper a few months ago.

Local family had just bought their kid a bike, and left it in their front yard. SOmeone came by, snapped it's chain, and took it.
They left a sign out, stating that they hoped the fellow thoroughly enjoyed ruining the kids birthday. They barely made enough money to buy him the bike, so it was a surprise.
A day or so later, somebody left a note on their door with sixty dollars.
Note read, please excuse the jacks, there are still good people here.

Tis better to give than to receive.
