false argument against stem cell research

In short they contend that stem cell research is unethical, but in the same breath, they like the thought of adding genes from roaches to our tomatoes, pig genes in humans, adinfinitum, the fact is their bowing to big pharma, who doesnt want a quick fix, to cure desease.
In the future though, we will be getting the benefits from the research, but it will most likely come from asia, who doesnt throw out the excess embryos.

peace,

It is no different than killing an unarmed civilian for no reason, abortion, in vitro fertilization and therapeutic cloning and the latest innovation stem cell research all involve killing a living embryo.

[17:33] You shall not kill any person - for GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. If one is killed unjustly, then we give his heir authority to enforce justice. Thus, he shall not exceed the limits in avenging the murder, he will be helped.

[6:137] Thus were the idol worshipers duped by their idols, to the extent of killing their own children. In fact, their idols inflict great pain upon them, and confuse their religion for them.
Had GOD willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.

[6:140] Losers indeed are those who killed their children foolishly, due to their lack of knowledge, and prohibited what GOD has provided for them, and followed innovations attributed to GOD. They have gone astray; they are not guided.

Wikipedia:

A blastocyst is a stage of development of an embryo when it is around five days old and made up of about 100 cells. A blastocyst at the stage at which embryonic stem cells would be extracted is still young enough to be able to divide into two embryos, making identical twins, or in rare cases, merge with another blastocyst, even one of the opposite sex[1], to create a chimera, an individual comprised of populations of cells with two different sets of DNA. From the biological point of view, these points mean the blastocyst is not yet an individual. Blastocysts are an early developmental stage far from possessing a nervous system, and thus biologically speaking do not have feelings.

Embryonic stem cells are cultured cells obtained from the inner mass cells of a blastocyst. Embryonic stem cell research is still in the basic research phase. Research with embryonic stem cells derived from humans is controversial because, in order to start a stem cell 'line' or lineage, it requires the destruction of a blastocyst (an embryo that has not yet grown beyond 150 cells), which some people believe to be human beings.

but for the fact their still killing, because they throw them away, I think that God would much more like to see the world be desease free, rather than waste a possible gift to the many afflicted

peace,

So if you have two brothers, one with an incurable disease and the other is yet to be born, would you sacrifice the living brother to cure the dying one?

Re: false argument against stem cell research

my point is that it is excess from the fetal tissue, your not killing a future family member, this is not going to produce another being unless they use it for cloning, which I am against

Re: false argument against stem cell research

peace again,

Oh, congradulations on your newborn. He must be very new. Doesn't a cirucmcision take place within a day or two?

Can you provide a link to this selling of foreskin online?

Or, cut and paste, if you'd like?
