In the early 90's a world wide treaty was signed allowing for various governments to NOT sell codes that cannot be broken by government.
It is ILLEGAL to sell or use so called "unbreakable" cyphers.
"They" just want you to think they cant listen in. Just like they spread the word when digital phones came out that they were not interceptable as Pablo Escobar found out was not quite true.
Of course there is nothing to stop you setting up your own simple, unbreakable code, if you must.
But it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep secret a standard cypher.
No matter how random or how long the key...super computers can crack it.
