Default Re: End Times ministry says we're looking at the Abomination of Desolation soon.

After Reading some of the articles on the website, it would seem that Irvin Baxter bases his end times belief, for the most part, on the Old Testament (Daniel, Ezekiel) and the book of Revelations. Since it's not known for sure that the source, or author, of Revelations is the same John who is the author of the fourth gospel, I'm would be hesitant to believe any theories based on it.

It's a matter of opinion of course, but the first three gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke seem more credible because the actual words of Jesus are used to describe the tribulation times.

One excellent source of end times material, which is based on the three gospels, is a book called 'Eclipse of the Sun' by Michael D. O'Brien. It's a fictional account of what might happen to western civilization if the NWO (referred to by the author as Totalitarianism) truly takes over. The story is set in B.C.,Canada, and it addresses many of the issues discussed on this forum, and Dr. Makow's website.
Very well-written.
