The US (not America, America is a continent) will never let go of its position. Never. Even if they have to destroy the rest of the world in order to do it. They are swimming in debt, but this money will never be collected.
The country is fabulously rich. Their income is 10 times the one here. The only news is that they are allowing a small part of the population to get poor. But they are far from being the majority.
