Whether or not I'm on "God's side" (<- as if there actually is such a thing) is for God to judge, not me.
In the meantime, what concerns me are the wise words of Thomas Jefferson (I believe he spoke these words in connection w/ slavery, although they could just as well apply to the crimes the U.S. has committed during the 20th century):
