Well, he is currently running for his life, so I suppose that is a good character reference for any non-mainstream journalist.
Also, his expose' on the Bush family cheating on Saddam's oil for food program (even more than people like George Galloway whom they tried to drag through a kangaroo court congressional inquisition) seems to have held up under scrutiny. In fact, I believe it was more this article than Galloway's scathing rebuttal that sent committe chairmen Sen. Norm Coleman scurrying like a scared rabbit.
