Everything that is in Israel today has been paid for by someone else. Using our own money to buy our stuff doesn't count.
If it were not for the protection of these same countries, Israel would cease to exist. Oh, they would set off their nuclear bombs they got from somebody else and take quite a few people with them but I am not sure the cost wouldn't be worth it.
