Yes, we used to have the luxury of thinking that way but with globilization issues, people become more conscious that what is happening that is an atrocity to someone at the other side of the world, if it was by NEFARIOUS design will eventually span the globe.
Now, you go to an ER and there aren't even doctors staffing them any more - all P.A. and nurse practioners - unless you are critical.
