Re: Are all Religions the same?
Hello and greetings from across the pond!
I remember a slogan from the "Free Love" movement that was instigated by Alister Crowley, et al, in the area of Southern California: "Don't knock it 'till you try it!" This phrase typifies the cultic and manipulative nature of the movenment.
I would proffer that all religions are not equally "tryable" in the sense that all will bring you to the same place.
If I need more money, I could either get a second job, or I could rob a bank, but I won't end up in the same places as a consequence!
I suppose that religion is the song of deliverance we sing to the Creator, and not the reason for our salvation.
