Someone once said, "Just because I don't own a gun doesn't mean I give up the right to do so."

When the Bible says, "They do not carry the sword (or gun) in vain", it means that with proper authority the use of deadly force is sanctioned by God in secular law. Ans so we have the duality of the right to own firearms and the responsibility to use them wisely.

It is not the guns that need controlling: it is the illegitimate use of them that should be controlled!
