the liberty dollar is trying to forge an alternate but parallel monetary system which to me is it prime week spot. It looks like its operating in a legal loop hole that could be closed at any moment. However it is easier for the common joe to benefit from it. at first glance i would not trust this system.
the freemen system in my opinion is a stroke of genius because they are doing exactly as the fed does and this makes it more difficult to prosecute because the ramification can affect the fed. in other words they are scared of unintended consequences. the problem with this is that you need lawyers and a will of Steele to pursue it.
