There is God and there is a Christ.
The difference being is the way people understand these things.
Human nature makes it very hard for us to remain constant on a subject. Over 2000 years our views have distorted. But more importantly, spiritual teachers are misunderstood - their teachings are perceived incorrectly, and these misperceptions are then taught to others who misperceive the misperceptions of the original teachings and so on.

Siddhartha Gautama explained the only spiritual lessons that need be embraced by the entire world, some 2500 years ago. The Four Noble Truths and The Eightfold Path.
Instead, Gautama was defied. People manipulated his philosophy and turned it into the religion that most know today. True Buddhism does not speak of gods and there is neither worship nor punishment.
Jesus was too busy with other things to refine his teaching techniques. He did not come to teach. However, Angelic beings usually become teachers by their very nature.

Barbarien, in the past entire races have been wiped out to make way for others, to make way for something else, or for any other reason and this was done by (what we know as) heavenly beings. This would be to the dismay of your average person of course. It would induce perplexity and anger.

What most people dont understand is that this reality and all that is in it is essentially 'unreal'. It is impermanent. But what exists within this system is LIFE. Life cannot be destroyed, but realities can be erased and made anew.

So what may be perceived as cold or ruthless is really just business outside of the human realms.

God is intrinsically a loving being, because God is Life. If you are conscious of life, you love. If you know love, then you can know life.
