Default Re: MIND CONTROL AND THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

CODE OF SILENCE
Bruce Springsteen

There's a code of silence that we don't dare speak
There's a wall between and the river's deep
We keep pretending that there's nothing wrong
But there's a code of silence and it can't go on

Is the truth so elusive, so elusive you see
that it ain't enough baby
To bridge the distance between you and me
There's a list of grievance 100 miles long
There's a code of silence and it can't go on

Well you walk with your eyes open
But your lips they remain sealed
While the promises we made are broken
Beneath the truth we fear to reveal
Now I need to know now darlin'
I need to know what's goin' on so c'mon

Well you walk with your eyes open
But your lips they remain sealed
While the promises we made are broken
Beneath the truth we fear to reveal
Now I need to know now darlin'
I need to know what's goin' on so c'mon

There's a code of silence that we don't dare speak
There's a wall between and the river's deep
We keep pretending that there's nothing wrong

READ THIS VERSE:

Is the truth so elusive, so elusive you see
that it ain't enough baby
To bridge the distance between you and me

What does that mean?

It means the TRUTH is so, so elusive that it will never bridge the distance between YOU and ME.

Why not this:

Is the truth so elusive, so elusive you see
that it's so out of reach
it can never bridge the distance between you and me.

SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE, perhaps.

Those double-bind meanings.

Kind of on par with the verse from another one of Springsteen's songs:

"For those who had a notion, a notion deep inside that it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive."

Inotherwords, it's a SIN to be glad you're alive.

A verse from Code of Silence:

"While the promises WE made are broken beneath the truth WE fear to reveal"

He made a promise with someone else to reveal the truth that they fear and this promise has been broken because THEY haven't revealed it???

Right!!

Speak for yourself.

DOUBLE-bind throughout this song!

Who is HE talking to?

First of all, YOU took the CODE OF SILENCE, not me. Secondly, you haven't broken the promise and vow not to reveal the truth about THEM. I have. You paid the price for fortune and fame. I didn't.

YOU keep pretending there's nothing wrong, I don't. This is all you can do. You have no other options.

Correction:

There's a CODE OF SILENCE within the cult that YOU DON'T dare speak.

I think it's apparent whose doing the writing on this subject.

You, Springsteen walk with your eyes open and your LIPS they remain sealed because you follow the CODE OF SILENCE WITHIN THE "SATANIC CULT."

NOT ME!

I don't know of anyone who follows a Code of Silence unless they are in military or belong to the nefarious "satanic cult" in some form or fashion who worship the devil, as Springsteen himself acknowledged during his induction speech of U2 into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

However, worshipping the devil is not their only "abnormal" practice. Mind control, sex slaves, pedophilia, homosexuality, physical, mental, emotional abuse, Mafia pornography.

Ah, the list goes on and on.

Should we add sacrifice of their muses?

Certainly, we should wonder what Springsteen's words meant when he on one hand applauded during his induction speech of Jackson Browne, him following his muse and then on the other hand, said, RISKED his and paid the price.

Kid Rock inducted Bob Seger. Within his speech, something like, "Lord knows, he paid the price."
