Re: MIND CONTROL AND THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
This is about the silliest thing I have ever heard child-like "adults" do.
Who sold more albums, McCartney or Springsteen? Of course, McCartney did, overwhemlingly. People happen to like his new CD, but, now, Springsteen's fans have to make up excuses. Not enough PR, blah, blah, blah.
For the life of me, I can't understand why they care.
Is it their money? Do they have some vested interest in his sales?
Firstly, Springsteen's latest CD/DVD is nothing but recycled songs from his first CD with the Seeger Sessions band (We SHALL OVERCOME) together with some old songs.
So, it's not really a NEW relase. It's recycled material.
The DVD is of a live show with the Seeger Sessions Band with the same recycled songs.
It's repackaged material, people. Not the same thing as a CD with NEW songs.
Don't you realize that's how you've been supporting him?
Boots/repackaged, recycled, live DVD shows.
Did you ever think that maybe his CD sales alone don't alone don't cut it?
Did you ever think maybe that's why tours like he does because his CD sales alone don't cut it.
Remember, he's one of their cash cows and they must produce!!!!
