Default Re: Who Rules ?

Peace Superstar,

You said: "do you have anything to say for those that suffer?"

Yes i have something to say,

[4:40] GOD does not inflict an atom's weight of injustice. On the contrary, He multiplies the reward manifold for the righteous work, and grants from Him a great recompense.

The same happening may happen to two persons, one will steadfastly persevere, turn to God and maintain his or her righteousness in an unwavering Submission to God's will. The other will reject, rebel and fill the world with screaming and complaining. Which one you think God would recompense?

Now note the startling truth about suffering, for those who will get depressed, who would curse the whole universe for their suffering, who will turn into unfunctional, self hating individuals, who may even commit suicide at the end, they are bringing themselves God's punishment by their own hands!. God says that everything that happens in the Heavens or the earth comes from Him, BUT we are the cause of bad things happening to us because of following Satan, the bringer of misery.

It is a universal law that those who fail to see the good point behind their destiny (whatever it is) and thus turn unappreciative of God, are bringing themselves a self inflicted suffering.

[4:79] Anything good that happens to you is from GOD, and anything bad that happens to you is from you. We have sent you as a messenger to the people, and GOD suffices as witness.

Suffering can transform a person's life from being a marginal human being to a succesful, light for all his bretheren. It is up to us to turn this tool into a blessing by turning to God alone to alleviate/transform it, or to get stuck in it, enslaved by Satan in a vicious downward spiral of self-hating, society-hating, unforgivness, self detruction!

Take for example Helen Keller, a profound example from God to all of us,

Excerpt from

The story of Helen Keller is the story of a child who, at the age of 19 months, suddenly lost her hearing and vision, and who, against overwhelming odds and with a great deal of persistence, grew into a highly intelligent and sensitive woman who wrote, spoke, and labored incessantly for the betterment of others. So powerful a symbol of triumph over adversity did she become that she has a definite place in the history of our time and of times to come.

And to be more clera, i will try to answer your examples:

1-"-a child being constantly beaten and raped might have a difficult time with what you just posted."

God doesn't burden any soul beyond its means, if this child is to be a righteous person in the future, God will protect him and will not allow suffering beyond his or her threshold. This experience is not traumatic by itself, almost all of us have suffered in some way or another during childhood, some turned to God and drew closer to Him, some turned away from God and chose reconcilation in the creatures (drug abuse, relationships, adultery, work-addiction..etc). If this child accepts, forgives and turn to God for help, all this misery will vanish in a blink of an eye, few take heed though! thus they fall in the trap of Satan and bring more misery upon themselves.

[2:186] When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided.

2-"-a family who has just lost their son/daughter in the forces might have a difficult time with what you just posted."

Eventhough this war is obviously unjust, many soldiers are there out of true conviction, some are forced to be there, and for all of them God gives good news. In Quran the age of responsbility is 40, all the soldiers who die before that age go straight to Heaven, a much better place than this miserable world, don't you agree?. It's also a test for their families, a family may reject God's will, scream and hate everybody for their loss, another family may steadfastly persevere, endure the test, ask God for patience and delivery of grief. They would accept God's will, understand that this is possibly the best thing that could have happened to their son,

[2:154] Do not say of those who are killed in the cause of GOD, "They are dead." They are alive at their Lord, but you do not perceive.

3-"-a physically challenged person without arms/legs might have a difficult time with what you just posted."

I personally had friends who are blind and armless, yet they were the most happy, succesful i have seen in my life!. Again the same happening can be good or bad, depending on your response, turning to or away from God.

4-"-a person shot and left for dead only because they were an innocent bystander might have a difficult time with what you just posted."

Death is a great blessing for the righteous, but in our limited perception, we see it as a horrendous punishment!. Indeed it's a horrible event for the wicked, the angels will beat them [47:27], asking them to surrender their souls, but they will resist, next they will stay in a continous nightmare to the day of judgment. As for the righteous the angels tell them,

[16:31] The gardens of Eden are reserved for them, wherein rivers flow. They have anything they wish therein. GOD thus rewards the righteous.

[16:32] The angels terminate their lives in a state of righteousness, saying, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise (now) as a reward for your works."

The righteous don't actually die, they are transferred momentarily to Heaven like Jesus.

5- "-a mother who just lost her newborn might have a difficult time with what you just posted."

Inded she would have a difficult time if she forgets God at that moment, a righteous woman would remember God, ask Him for patience, and even thanking Him for this chance to remember Him!. A righteous woman, would ponder at the lesson to be learned from that experience, what is the message? is it that she did something wrong that she must repent from, or is it that God saved her from a baby who would have inflicted severe pain on here, or is it that it was not the right time for her to give birth. Oneday she will understand the good point behind this incident, in all cases she must submit, accept and steadfastly persevere if she wants God's recompense.

[3:186] You will certainly be tested, through your money and your lives, and you will hear from those who received the scripture, and from the idol worshipers, a lot of insult. If you steadfastly persevere and lead a righteous life, this will prove the strength of your faith.
