Alan Greenspan is lectured by Congressman Burnie Sanders. The Congressman accuses Greenspan of being way out of touch w/ the needs of the middle class & the working families of our country, that his major function is that of “the need to represent the Wealthy & large Corporations”. He tells him that “the Country Clubs & the Cocktail Parties are not “real Americans”, the “Millionaires & the Billionaires” are the “exception to the rule”,” & that “by suggesting that Manufacturing in America doesn’t matter, that it doesn’t matter where the product is produced,” he (Greenspan) has reached a new low icing. He goes on to say, “we have lost 2 to 3 million manufacturing jobs in the last 2 years alone. Ten percent of our workforce.” Alan Greenspan responds by saying "Congressman we have the highest Standard of Living" in the World".
