On Oct 2nd the House did not debate bailout
According to CNN the house of representatives could not debate the $700 bn bailout on Thur Oct 2nd because of the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashana.
But in 2008 Rosh Hashana is celebrated from Sept 30 to Oct 1. Not on Oct 2nd.
Besides the Congress had worked almost every seventh day since Labor Day.
Is there anytging extremely special about this particular Rosh Hashana that only Torah scholars or even Kabbalists are aware of?
