I am trying to put myself into the minds of the school to understand this so I may be totatlly off. It's just a guess:

1. If we just put him/her some place and do not interact with them then we won't have a law suit brought against us for trying to impose our interpretations of morality upon the mind of the child.

I.E. If they broke rules their parents might sue us if we held them responsible for their actions.

It's better to ignore the problem these days than to deal with it.

2. Um.. maybe I only have one thought on the issue. (laugh)

I have a difficult time understanding a lot of what people do. Which does not surprise me. I have a difficult time just trying to run my own life the way I want.
