Default The Vatican City & CERN

In the ancipated movie Angels & Demons, the Vatican City is soon to be doomed by a virus call "Anti-matter". It was distrubuted by CERN (or European Organization for Nuclear Research), located in the suburbs of Genva on the Franco-Swiss border.

Would it be possible, a very small particle of anti-matter could simply wipe out the Vatican City ?
