The Invisible Goverment
Reality is not always what it seems. In our daily existence we tend to get our information from the major media outlets and in effect we shape our concept of truth on the small portion of information that we digest daily. Now if a group of men can control the information that is distributed to the public and finance the institutions of higher learning, and dictate the curriculum for the public school system then you have shaped a societies view of reality, you have created truth according to your heart's desire. You have achieved reality control. This is the situation in the United States of America today. Before you dismiss this claim as total absurdity, may I direct your attention to a man named Carroll Quigley. Who was Carroll Quigley and why does it matter? Dr. Carroll Quigley was a professor of history at Georgetown University. He was the author of the widely used textbook, Evolution of Civilization; he was a member of the editorial board of the monthly periodical, Current History; and he was a frequent lecturer and consultant for such groups as the Industrial college of the Armed Forces, the Brookings Institution, the U.S. Naval Weapons Laboratory, the Naval College, the Smithsonian Institute, and the State Department. Dr. Quigley was no mere academic. The Washington post once described him after his death as the Professor who knew too much. He had been closely associated with many of the family dynasties of the super rich. He was, by his own boast, an Insider with a front row view of the world's money power structure. Dr. Quigley wrote a monumental work of history in 1966, a scholarly 1300-page book of history called Tragedy and Hope. It was not intended for the masses, it was to be read by the intellectual elite, and to that select readership he revealed one of the best kept secrets of all time. In a personal letter to a friend Quigley revealed that at the time he felt Tragedy and Hope was suppressed. To understand our modern dilemma and society in general in the 21st century it is imperative that the reader understand why "powerful people" would want to suppress this book.
In the mid-1960's, when Bill Clinton was a student at Georgetown University, his mentor there was Prof. Carroll Quigley. Twenty-six years later, then Governor Clinton would be elected President of the United States, and James K. Fitzpatrick would write on the editorial page of the national newspaper The Wanderer, November 18, 1993:
"Clinton told reporters in an interview that Quigley's work centered on the existence of a permanent shadow government of powerful bankers and businessmen and government officials that controls the agenda of our political life from behind the scenes. Clinton spoke in that interview of coming to the conclusion, while still a young man, that it was necessary for him to gain access to the inner circle of this group in order to become part of the decision-making process that shapes our world."
Dr. Quigley was an apologist for the group, he stated that he supported their goals and purposes and had admiration for them, in Tragedy and Hope he wrote;
"I know of the operation of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the 1960's to examine it's papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of it's aims and have for much of my life, been close to it and to many of it's instruments...In general, my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown."
The admitted permanent shadow government that controls our government is shocking to the majority of the American public, especially to people that get all their information from a control system that is meant to keep them intellectually docile. This Anglo-American Establishment is a terrifying reality and questions must be asked, who are they?, what are their goals?, are not our representatives popularly elected in open elections?, fortunately Quigley answers these questions for us.
"The relationship between the financial circles of London and those of the Eastern United States which reflects one of the most powerful influences in 20th century American and world history. The two ends have sometimes been called, perhaps facetiously, The English and American Establishments. There is however, a considerable degree of truth behind the joke, a truth which reveals a very real power structure."
This financial power structure is the most powerful force in 20th century American and world history, and yet the American public is oblivious to their existence, it was of this power structure that Woodrow Wilson referred in his book the New Freedom when he said..
"since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it...We have been dreading all along the time when the combined power of high finance would be greater than the power of government...We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated, governments in the civilized world-no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men...We are in a New World...I speak of the control over the government exercised by Big Business."
What Wilson termed Big Business Dr. Quigley called a network of world financers with their goal as..
"...nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences..."
New York City Mayor, John Hylan in a March 27, 1922 speech reprinted in the New York Times states...
"The real menace of our Republic the Invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self-created screen. It seizes in its long and powerful tentacles our executive officers, our legislative bodies, our schools, our courts, our newspapers, and every agency created for the public protection. It squirms in the jaws of darkness and thus is better able to clutch the reigns of government, secure enactment of the legislation favorable to corrupt business, violate the law of impunity, smother the press and reach into the courts. To depart from mere generalizations, let me say at the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller- Standard oil interests and a small house of powerful banking houses generally referred to as The International Bankers. This little Coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States Government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties, write political platforms, make cat's-paws of party leaders, use the leading men in private organizations, and resort to every device to place in nomination for high public office only such candidates as will be amendable to the dictates of corrupt big business. They connive at centralization of government theory that a small group of hand picked, privately controlled individuals in power can be more easily handled than a larger group among whom there will be men sincerely interested in public welfare. These International Bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interest controls the majority of newspapers and magazines in this country. they use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible Government."
This stunning admission from a N.Y. city Mayor is only a small sampling of a vast array of warnings that have been sounded through out the history of the 20th century, many brave and courageous voices have tried to warn of this menace that has full working control of our Republic. But the Nation sleeps docile, content in materialistic pursuits that keep the common man stupefied, the Romans had a term for this "Bread and Circuses". The social engineering project continues until the Republic willingly hands it's freedom to our puppet masters, and world government is imposed in an Orwellian nightmare that would make Caesar proud. Yet still people sleep refusing to believe the truth because it is easier to live the lie.
"consequently it can be argued that our western history is every bit as distorted, censored, and largely useless as that of Hitler's Germany or the Soviet Union or Communist China. No western foundation will award grants to investigate such topics, few western academics can "survive" by researching such theses and certainly no major publisher will easily accept manuscripts reflecting such arguments. In fact, there is another largely unrecorded history and it tells a story quite different than our sanitized textbooks. It tells a story of the deliberate creation of war, the knowing finance of revolutions to change Governments, and the use of conflict to create a New World Order".
