Do you have any real evidence that any of these cultures actually predict that something will happen in 2012?

I know according to translators that the Maya calendar ends then and according to One archeologist (Patrick Geryl) the Egyptians did predict something apparently a pole shift, but I haven't seen any real proof of either of those.

I suspect something might happen that year and a pole shift cares the hell out of me so what do you have?

At the very least I expect political problems with the NWO even before then so planning to prepare myself.
