Did MI6 ‘Bump’ Lady Diana?
The other day I was reading an extract from chapter 36 of Stephen Dorril’s “MI6: Inside the Covert World of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service.” In this chapter we are told that in 1992 during the Yugoslavian conflict, MI6 had planned to assassinate President Slobodan Milosevic.
One of the methods of assassination they had considered was the staging of a fatal road accident. While driving through a motorway tunnel the driver of Milosevic’s car would be blinded by a bright light.
It suddenly crossed my mind isn’t this what some claimed happened the night Lady Diana was killed? Some eye witnesses claim to have seen a bright burst of light just before Diana’s car had entered the tunnel.
To finish the job however a second car would have been needed to have ‘nudged’ the target vehicle causing it to lose control.
This is what some have claimed to have happened with regard to the missing white Fiat Uno. White paint scuffed onto the side of Diana’s car proves that the two vehicles made contact.
Investigating police had a real job tracing both the car and its driver however when the driver was finally traced he committed suicide under mysterious circumstances.
In his book Stephen Dorril also tells us that immediately before she was tragically killed Lady Diana had indeed been under surveillance by the security services.
