I was EXTREMELY dubious of Gerard Holmgrens claims. I had a breif e-mail exchange in which he was measured and polite. This encouraged me to look closer into what he has to say.

Also remember you have a supposed 70 ton aircraft flying over your head displacing a HUGE amount of air as it moves at 400+ knots...actually pretty unlikely at that altitude. It would simply kill you.

Who could have POSSIBLY seen that plane clearly? Ever been to Formula 1 - Indy 500? They move at 180mph (around same knots)...now imagine that OVER TWICE as fast...can you see how ridiculous the claims are? Just using simple logic and imagination. You dont need an expert.

It was UNDOUBTABLY (in my mind) an Air Launched Cruise Missile of the Tomahawk variety or a similar vehicle.

Remember in the "Northwoods Document" they would make up a 'drone' to look like a commercial airliner...how hard would it be?

As for not fearing the U.S or Oz government?

Well, if i was in the U.S I would probably fear them. I have a big mouth and would probably last 5 minutes moving through customs as I pulled the piss severely and poked fun at all the seriousness...i simply could'nt believe anyone could take it all seriously...feeling up passengers while 19 CIA employed, nutter Arabs waltzed around the U.S countryside unmolested, not to mention thousands flogging accross the southern borders every day.

I'd be frogged marched to the next plane home...i'd get annoyed....someone would try to grab me...id smack him in the mouth...then the other one...then some one would pull a taser...i'd dare them....then they'd pull a gun and i'd double dare them and then i'd be on the news as..."Australian tourist tragically killed..."...so i think i'll stay at home...I here tourism is suffering in the U.S? Cant think why?

The Oz intelligence services and local police still have a sense of humour here.
