well i dont know much about hacking but i do know hacking email (whatever client you may have) is fucking easy with tellnet.
if for instance i know your (the reader of this) email. and i want to sent you something, i can literally sent you an email made by your own email adress (and you cant track the real sender) just google tellnet email sending and well you can learn it in about 3 minutes.
