At first, Thought it stood for "Against the Spread". But I am betting you that most of the crap on ATS is just "out of whack" and pure entertaining "laugh-in-your-face" group of people that gather around some odd-looking roundtable to discuss stuff like "Was Elvis really an Alien?" or "If Harvey Oswald didn't kill JFK....maybe it was his long-lost twin brother Oswald Harvey that shot him".

Now, what are the odds on that?
