Smile Re: The Threefold Economy: The transformation of science, politics & economics

The science of man stands at the centre of all the sciences and of a new art of education. It investigates the meaning, mission and structure of the human being. It is based on a holistic image of man and not on his half-finished appearance at the present time.
The complete image of man shows us a being with a dual nature, a higher and a lower one:

- The higher nature thinks, feels and acts selflessly. It represents the essential sunlike core and higher guidance within man. It is the source of the inspiration by lofty guiding principles.

- The lower nature thinks, feels and acts in separation and egoistically (as long as the higher nature remains undeveloped). The lower nature is the instrument of realization. Its tools are the forces of reason, the emotions and the will.

It is man's mission to fuse both natures into a unity in which the higher nature rules wisely and harnesses the forces of the lower nature in an ongoing process.

The diagram illustrates the interplay of both natures.

The holistic image of man
(Both natures are developed: the higher nature inspires and gives guidance, the lower nature implements actions)

The trinity of the higher nature
- Love
- Wisdom
- Truth

The trinity of the lower nature
- Forces of reason
- Forces of feeling
- Forces of the will

The higher nature is sunlike, the source of inspiration by lofty guiding principles and of a higher guidance.

The lower nature is its instrument of realization
- The guiding principles of the higher nature inspire thought
- Inspired thought stimulates the feelings
- Inspired thought and stimulated feelings mobilize the will to realization

For the science of man there is no doubt that the human being - like everything in living nature - strives from a seed that already contains all things, moving upwards from below in evolutionary steps to achieve the full development of his essential core.

If we consider the evolution of mankind as a whole from a lofty perspective, we can observe how the lower nature developed first of all: starting with the will forces, then the feeling forces and finally the intellect - for a broad social class since the Enlightenment. During this phase of evolution, egoistical-materialistic needs constituted the guiding principle and motivator for the rapid development of these three fundamental forces. But today's state of civilization makes it abundantly clear that such egoistic-materialistic guiding principles may be permitted to act as motivators only during the development of the lower nature. As soon as this evolutionary phase has been completed, they act in an extremely self-destructive manner.

We must now recognize that humanity stands poised on the threshold of its next great evolutionary leap: the development of its higher nature, the guiding nature of wisdom, love and truth. The tremendous forces of realization that have hitherto followed egoistical-materialistic principles must now be placed in the service of the realization of lofty guiding principles aiming to create satisfactory conditions for everyone. This can be achieved only if new programs of education and training help to awaken the higher nature still slumbering in the human being. The science of man provides the fundamental tools needed for this purpose.

The science of universal laws constitutes the new basis for statecraft and jurisprudence. It illustrates that the multiple problems faced by our contemporary society are merely the expression of infringements of universal laws. It therefore focusses its research on the most important universal laws and the universal principles underlying them in order to derive wise guiding principles for education, politics and economics. The focus is thus on eliminating the underlying causes of these problems rather than on tackling the immensely diverse effects of unreason.

Standing supreme among the universal laws is the highest moral law, the law of agriculture: "whatever you sow that shall you reap". It can be observed everywhere: in mechanics as "the law of action and reaction" and in the theory of vibration as the "law of resonance". These laws of biology and physics find their natural continuation in the mind of man. There we see that "man sows through his mentality and reaps accordingly". His mentality is the expression of a particular way of thinking, feeling and acting; it is therefore always the expression of the higher or lower nature.

The science of universal laws investigates the power of thoughts, feelings and actions (the seed) and its resonance effect on the physical and mental well.being of man, society and nature (the harvest). Its main interest is focussed on changing man's mentality (sowing from the higher nature) and not on the endless process of repairing the damage caused to man and his environment by a destructive egoistical mentality. The quality of the seed is at the very centre of its studies, because it has a crucial effect on the quality of the harvest. So the science of universal laws observes that all the problems that threaten us today (environmental, pollution, wars, unemployment, disease, hunger,...) are resonance effects of an egoistical mentality at an individual or collective level. In contrast, all harmonious relationships between people and nations represent resonance effects of the higher nature.

(Man in his social environment: man reaps what he sows with his thoughts, feelings and actions)

The higher nature:
- Source of positive resonance effects
- Resonance effects of thoughts
- Resonance effect of feelings
- Resonance effect of actions

The law of resonance explains logically that the development of man's higher nature is not only in the interest of society but also of each individual. For whoever sows unreason, immorality and separatism will sooner or later reap a woeful harvest in the same or different form. But whoever sows reason, morality and fraternity will sooner or later also reap these desirable qualities.

The science of universal laws forms the basis of a new jurisprudence and in turn elevates politics into statecraft. Statecraft is the art of making wise guiding laws in order to guide and support man and society in their efforts to develop their higher nature.

The science of social organism converts lofty guiding principles and creative thoughts into actions in the most efficient way. It extends our understanding of the general science of business management by including a knowledge of the science of man and of universal laws. By applying the analogy between the human organism and the social organism, it contributes to gaining a deeper understanding of management and organizational skills.

In its most comprehensive application, it supports the practical implementation of the new world view and image of man by means of the following efficient and harmoniously-coordinated institutions with their renewed curricula:

- Institutions of education and training
- Institutions of politics and law
- Economic institutions and business enterprises

Below you will find an overview of the analogy between the human organism and the global social organism. The individual elements in the figure will be presented in detail on the following pages.

Global organism/Human Organism

High ideal:

1. Meaning
Holistic satisfaction of man's threefold needs

2. Content
From the egocentric to the heliocentric image of man:
A new educational program for the social sciences, politics and economics

3. Form
From a national to a global organism:
The new threefold social order

Realization structure of the high Ideal:

1. Global synthesis via a global university
- Faculty of education/training : Synthesis of holistic education
- Faculty of statecraft/law principles : Synthesis of global guiding legislation
- Faculty of economics : Synthesis of global economics flows

2. Global coordination and cooperation by global councils
- Global council of education/training : Coordination of holistic education
- Global council of politics : Coordination of global guiding laws
- Global council of economics : Coordination of global economics flows

3. Individual realization by global, national and local enterprises/institutions
- Education/training institutions : Efficient education/training
- Legal/political institutions : Efficient legal/political institutions
- Business enterprises : Efficient business enterprises
