It is possible the Americans landed on the moon. If you read about Von Braun the ex-Nasi scientist and his work with the V-2 rocket and after WWII working with/for Nasa, you will suspect that without his contribution to the programme, that it would of been impossible.

Since his death, there have been no more luna landings.
