It's now becoming increasingly obvious that the next war in the middle east will be waged against Iran. The reason? Their unwillingness to obey the United Nations and continue to develop their nuclear ambitions. However, Iran has always stated that their new nuclear developments are there to provide their people with cheap electricity while the rest of the world keeps being told that they are out to create weapons of mass destruction to use against neighbouring countries. The US President and British Prime Minister are openly lieing when they say that Iran hadn't informed them of their new fascilities. In truth, they didn't have to inform the UN of their existence for another year at least!
For anyone who followed the nonsense leading up to the first Gulf War, the exact same situation is unfolding again. . . The USA, Uk and France are creating a problem which simply doesn't exist because they want to go to war against Iran.
Let's hope that common sense wins?

It has been OBVIOUS for quite some time that a confrontation with IRAN is in the cards.

THEY have been setting the stage to this end for years now with their condemnation of Iran's so-called SECRET nuclear program and Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's, aids and abets them with his resistance to the UN's call for his disarmament.

I don't think America will do anything but they'll bankroll and fund an Israeli attack so they don't get their hands dirty. Unfortunately, an attack on Iran will unite the Arab nations against the west even though most hate the thought of Iran getting their hands on nuclear weapons.

It's interesting to ponder on how the USA will con the rest of the world into agreeing to another invasion of a middle eastern country. . . I think America will try to kill two birds with one stone!
Firstly they'll scare the bejesus out of the rest of the world, especially those neighbouring Iran, by continually going on about how Iran is developing a nuclear bomb. Then they'll secretly finance an Israeli airstrike to destroy these installations. . . Think about it?
1. America gets rid of Irans nuclear facilities without being further hated by the rest of the world.
2. The arab nations will have to look at Israel as saviours who saved them from Irans nuclear weapons instead of a nation who displaced the Palaestinians.

For Uncle Sam it's a win/win situation.

The US currently occupies Iran's neighbors; Afghanistan and Iraq so they don't have to scare the bejesus out of Iran's neighboring countries in order to invade.

In fact, they don't have to scare the bejesus out of anyone in order to invade any country.

The PTB set the groundwork and the Military Industrial Complex is put into motion whether any one's bejesus is scared out of them or not.

The US doesn't have to secretly finance an Israeli airstrike.

They know if there is a peace treaty , alot of people believe that the 7 years of tribulation will start.

I do think it is funny that Iran claims their nuclear program is strictly for power generation. First, they are sitting on massive oil and natural gas reserves, so its not like nuclear is the only way to generate power there.

Second, their power demands really are not all that high. Outside the ruling elite, the general population does not have 3 TVs, 2 computers, and a hundred electric lights burning the way Americans do. Irans power consumption is small, and unless they are planning on building some massive industrial facilities (for building tanks and ICBMs maybe?), just what do they really need several reactors for?

That being said, the US has been itching for a fight with Iran since the '70s, so this will likely give them the cover story they need for an attack.
