Your fear that ANY concentration of potassium permanganate is harmful to humans is an extension of the Linear No Threshold hypothesis popularized by Linus Pauling et al which has nearly destroyed the Nuclear Power industry and is well on destroying the rest of industrial civilization with the politicians, well meaning dupes and trial lawyers of the world.
