Stompk, I just found this site and I have seen that energy non-crisis video on google video. Wow, that was a very interesting lecture. Even if half of it were true it would be scary. I actually believe all of it but then again, I am skeptical about everything... Either way though, the price of oil is definitely going to keep climbing. Have you seen an article from F. William Engdahl about how oil is only theorized to be from dinosaur fossils and that in Russia they have an alternate theory, which is probably correct, that the oil is from a primordial goo from inside the earth, not from mashed up dinosaur fossils, and that therefore, there is no peak oil problem... that was all just made up in order for people to believe that it was unsustainable, so they could have an excuse to start shutting us down and hiking the prices. Sounds about right to me.

Welcome None ya.

Yes, I felt exactly the same way. Even if half were true.

But the guy is TOTALLY believable. And events seem to

be following his predictions, even when the big oil execs predict

the other way.

By far the best conspiracy lecture out there.

I read an article written back in 2000 that said oil did not come from decomposing dinosaurs and that it was a naturally replenishing resource.

Scientists are speculating that there is a tremendous amount of petrochemicals on Europa; they say there is very little chance that dinosaurs ever existed there.

BTW, I have Lindsey Williams' book along with another one he wrote, "Where's the Food?" Some of us have been at this stuff since the '70's, some longer. I'm just thankful for the internet, it was slow and painstakingly difficult to try to get the word out one-on-one.

Barbara, glad to be on the same team.

I have been working on an electric car.

This car would travel on a cushion of air,
at great speeds. Small adjustments to
existing roadways will help keep car on track.

The theory about fossil fuel not being from dinosours
is interesting, but store for further research. I think
we are on the brink of Armageddon

StompK.

No you rubes. The majority of oil came from dead plant life not dinosaurs. Europe had plants back then.

As for electric cars, how do you think they generate electricity? Oil!

Ever move you feet across the carpet and get shocked.

That took ZERO oil. It was human energy.

Now, imagine all the energy wasted, because
we think we need oil to live.

So we chain up a few dozen rubes to crank a generator to produce enough juice to fire up a light bulb and maybe power your computer.

It's not free because you still need to feed the rubes and cloth them and.......

Energy is not free. It takes work to create it for you to use it.

Oil or wood or anything else combustible has it stored. You just have to know how to release it and how to harnass it.

I come up with ideas, and you shoot them down

THIS is the problem with the world today.

Everyone is smarter than someone else.

I tell you, car in the future will travel on
cushions of air. They will use one battery bank
for power while another charges as they travel.

Currently solar and wind, and hydro are the best
electricity producers.

But there will be new ideas, new ways

How about a couple of black tubes running
up a south facing hill. At the top, turbines spin
from the are moving up the hill, as it is heated by
the sun.

Cool air in the valley, gets heated in the tube, and
rises.

But Shadow will shoot that one down too.

It's OK, I understand some folks haven't
found their true purpose yet.
