This new economic stimulus package is a JOKE!

First, you must file your taxes for 2007 to receive it. And then, it's just an advance on you 2008 return. So in 2008, you will get $600 less.

Something to look forward to. Pfft.

Our government sucks.

The government is giving us money so we can spend it and stimulate their pockets.

First they make billions appear out of thin air ($152 billion to be exact) and decide to Stimulate US with "free money" . Mainstream media is reporting that most Americans are spending it on gas (Big Oil), paying on their debt/credit (Bankers), medical bills and ever increasing priced perscription medication (Big Pharma and Insurance), and quite a bit on groceries (Food Shortage?). The worst of all is that this is not "free money" once again we are adding to a growing burden on our future generations to pay back what has been chosen to spend. I wonder exactly how much money the "deciders" stand to make off the stimulated induced spending?
