Exclamation Gov controlling conspiracies through CIA and ATS

What I am about to share with you may be one of the most important threads you will find on this forum. I would have posted this info at ATS but I'm saving my energy as it would just get deleted within 90 seconds of posting. I will share this info with many other conspiracy forums in the hopes of spreading truth. Open your eyes and see you are being led into the direction the CIA wants you to go with conspiracy theories. ATS is just one such entity aiding in that illusion. ATS (abovetopsecret.com) is just one aspect of the total mind programming network which is a gathering point for conspiracy theorist to congregate. It's owner Skeptic Overlord is emphatic over user stats and web hits. The more traffic he gets, the better the propaganda is disseminated to the pubic. I am about to remove the cloak and show you the dagger.

Now what does SoftLayer have to do with the US Gov's clandestine operations?

SoftLayer® Technologies - Press Release - Expanded SoftLayer® Network Powers UK2Group's 100TB.com

UK2 Group owns SoftLayer where ATS is hosted. Not only that but the info above states they are partners with Akamai Technologies.

So as of now I have linked ATS to Akamai. So now let's link Akamai to the CIA IT Operations.

Quote:
Inside the CIA's Extreme Technology Makeover, Part 1
Al Tarasiuk, the CIA's CIO, is on a mission to modernize the agency's IT practices and connections to the intelligence community. It's just like any other IT-business alignment project, except that he has to get disparate departments to share data while supporting the White House's war on terror.

Introduction

It's not often that a media organization is invited down to the Central Intelligence Agency's furtive headquarters in Langley, Va. But that's exactly what the CIA offered CIO: a rare, exclusive look inside the CIA's IT-driven transformation, led by CIO Al Tarasiuk. In his first-ever media interview, Tarasiuk detailed the CIA's dire need for organizational change and how IT is aiding in the CIA's post-9/11 mission.

CIO also had unprecedented access to other active-duty CIA employees. One senior IT employee offered a glimpse into the life of a well-traveled CIA IT staffer and his unique career serving in faraway lands and in at least one war zone. A senior officer in the CIA's National Clandestine Service—the spies—detailed what IT can and, more important, cannot do for the CIA.
Inside the CIA's Extreme Technology Makeover, Part 1 CIO.com

hmmm, the CIAs post 9/11 mission. ATS was created post 9/11. A coincidence ???

And now let's discuss how the CIA by-passes your firewall and anti-virus software to spy on ur activities online.

the Akamai Ghost

Quote:
I have Avast anti-virus. When I open my mail (windows live) I get this

"Malicious URL blocked"
With a webaddress

I did a port scan of the web address and the information I got back was about my computer and my ISP and it says I have two open ports both are AkamaiGhost, I found this in control panel.

I am using windows Vista, does anyone else have this program on their computer?

My anti virus just updated, and no longer shows it as a virus, but I still would like to know what that program is.
AkamaiGhost???, page 1

The Akamai Ghost runs without your knowledge or consent and is not considered by anti-virus software manufacturers to be a threat. I wonder why? hmmmm. Can somebody say CIA Backdoor ???

So how does Akamai further aid the CIA's mind programming project on conspiracy theorists? It uses re-directs which resolve from mainstream media news outlet urls and re-directs them to the CIA propaganda they want to disseminate. They change the news the way they want it and play it off as coming from a legitimate news source.
Here is one such example.

CIA shows photos of Bin Laden's body!, page 1

the thread above has a source url which ends in a .au domain name. However, when you actually resolve the url it backtracks and redirects to an Akamai web server (CIA). In this instance, the sourced url

Osama Bin Laden body photos shown by CIA

resolves to

184.84.247.16

Whois lookup shows the 184.84.247.16 belongs to:

Akamai Technologies
Cambridge MA.

However it was displayed as being a legitimate media news link in Australia.

Now what is displayed on this fake news link which is so important to the CIA? It gives fake details of the Osama Bin Laden cover story they want the masses to consume. It is propaganda directly from the CIA and distributed through ATS.

So now we have ATS is connected to the CIA through Akamai and is hosted by one of their partner affiliates UK2 Group.

Skeptic Overlord has stated on ATS that ATS did receive start-up funding from In-Q-Tel, which is a CIA Front company. I would post a link to this statement but that thread got deleted from ATS. But I remember it distinctly as bells started going off when I read it.

And here is proof that In-Q-Tel is a CIA OP.

https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...tel/index.html

Which makes ATS the perfect site for CIA Propaganda.

And this is exactly what real investigative journalists do.
They show you the real truth behind the lies.

And this is one story you won't see on the
pages of ATS.

And we shall see if it stays on the pages of this forum

You got it wrong on your first jerk-of-the-knee.

UK2 Group does not own SoftLayer. In the press release you linked, the CEO of SoftLayer says, "Customers like UK2 Group are exactly who we had in mind when we began planning our network expansion. It's gratifying to see it help bring them great results, (said Lance Crosby, Chief Executive Officer of SoftLayer)."

SoftLayer (after their merger with The Planet) is simply the largest cost-effective provider of high-end leased dedicated servers. And we use dedicated servers instead of "cloud based computing" because of the more plausible concerns over security and "back doors" in the cloud.

The news source linked in that thread is Sydney Morning Herald - Business & World News Australia | smh.com.au, which resolves to 204.0.5.43: AS2914 NTT-COMMUNICATIONS-2914, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation.

[ex](UK2) Currently, with over 300Gigabit Internet connectivity, and soon to increase to 3,000 GB of connectivity, 100TB.com and its partner Softlayer makes use of one of the biggest Internet backbones in the US and is recognized as one of the top-rated data infrastructures in the world.[/ex]

Hello Bill
glad to see ya out and about

and you are correct, a small error in the OP,
they are partners instead of owning.
It's the same difference. They are still
connected via business contracts.

No, it has been changed since the original posting on ATS.
I would have expected this to change once the word
got out. They are just covering their tracks is all

Why don't you check ATS Mod MaxMars history as he gave me
an applause for noticing the trackback link to Akamai.
If I was wrong, I would not have received the applause

Business partners and ownership are to very different things. A partner typically will have limited, if any, influence over the business practices of another partner.

From that same point of view, we're "partners" via business contract with several very large and influential advertising networks... and through them, several very large advertisers -- but none have ever had any influence on the operation of The Above Network, or abovetopsecret.com.

It's possible they use Akamai distributed hosting for assets such as images, videos, or even static pages.

Akamai is the largest such provider of globally distributed hosting, if you extend your research, you'll discover lots of sites use or have used them, including Alex Jones. A firm as big as Akamai, with a service as widely used as theirs, will have a very long list of diverse clients and corporate interests.

wow, speaking of vulnerabilities. Do you use Norton Internet Security Suite ??? Did you know that Symantec hosts their security definition files on Akamai ??? This is how your firewall or anti-virus definitions can be upgraded to not include the CIA's backdoors.
Quote:
I'm sure everybody has different opinions on sites hosting files on other companies servers. Certainly, any security minded individuals would prefer sites to host their content without using third party data storage sites. So why does Symantec like using akamai.net so much? I'd think liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com would be a site that Symantec would like to keep under their own watchful eyes. Certainly, the bandwidth requirements must be amazingly high, however hosting security definitions on a third party site still seems strange. Let's say you wanted to setup a SEP Management server with direct access through a firewall to liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com. If your firewall does not use DNS for setting up access-list rules, then you are pretty much going to have to allow that server to access about any site with https, http, and ftp due to the use of akamai.net by Symantec. I for one thing even though it's a server, I'd rather limit the access-list down. Part improving security is limiting access IN/OUT. Now, there are solutions but it just seems the underlying issue is the use of akamai.net to host definition files.
Symantec's reliance on akamai.net | Symantec Connect Community I guess this allows Akamai to change Norton's opinion of a security risk whenever they want. Gives the Akamai ghost more credibility does it not ???

It still does not account for the static page
html source code showing up on a CIA
Server before showing up on the .au
domain. The only way that has credence
is if the CIA created the content and put
it on Akamai and then later transferred it
to the .au domain. Meaning the content
came from the CIA not the OZ newspaper.
The OZ newspaper is NOT hosted on Akamai
servers.

And the link to that same content showed
up in an ATS thread BEFORE it got transferred
to the OZ domain.

no influence huh ???

ATS has gorilla nation trackers on it's website.
Gorilla Nation is ALSO affiliated with Akamai.

December 22, 2008 - Akamai Accelerates Gorilla Nation's Global Publishing Sites

And you run these freely and openly on ATS.
Akamai is CIA, CIA uses Gorilla Nation.
You have no rebuttal. ATS is CIA.
