X-Files - Funded by the FBI?

Hey guys. I´m a big fan of the X-files, but when i came across these documents that say that it is actually a part of a US conspiracy itself i was really disappointed. The documents say that x-files can condition the publics psyche, and make them think that conspiracies arent for real. Thought i could ask you guys: is this for real?!

Hmmm....funded by the FBI? The same government agency that has gone as far as disputing that the X-files even existed? Why would they fund something they know very well they "claim" doesn't even exist?

It's like saying that FEMA is a secret agency within the government that "claims" they don't have concentration camps all over the United States.

I am a huge fan of The X-Files myself, what Fox Mulder had been searching for (other than the strange disappearance of his sister) is much larger than his own life. And, even he has yet to find - The Truth.
