The Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations Is Officially Here
JEFFREY GOLDBERG OCT 28 2014, 2:52 PM ET
The other day I was talking to a senior Obama administration official about the foreign leader who seems to frustrate the White House and the State Department the most. “The thing about Bibi is, he’s a chickenshit,” this official said, referring to the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, by his nickname.
This comment is representative of the gloves-off manner in which American and Israeli officials now talk about each other behind closed doors, and is yet another sign that relations between the Obama and Netanyahu governments have moved toward a full-blown crisis. The relationship between these two administrations— dual guarantors of the putatively “unbreakable” bond between the U.S. and Israel—is now the worst it's ever been, and it stands to get significantly worse after the November midterm elections. By next year, the Obama administration may actually withdraw diplomatic cover for Israel at the United Nations, but even before that, both sides are expecting a showdown over Iran, should an agreement be reached about the future of its nuclear program.
The fault for this breakdown in relations can be assigned in good part to the junior partner in the relationship, Netanyahu, and in particular, to the behavior of his cabinet. Netanyahu has told several people I’ve spoken to in recent days that he has “written off” the Obama administration, and plans to speak directly to Congress and to the American people should an Iran nuclear deal be reached. For their part, Obama administration officials express, in the words of one official, a “red-hot anger” at Netanyahu for pursuing settlement policies on the West Bank, and building policies in Jerusalem, that they believe have fatally undermined Secretary of State John Kerry’s peace process.
Over the years, Obama administration officials have described Netanyahu to me as recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and “Aspergery.” (These are verbatim descriptions; I keep a running list.)* But I had not previously heard Netanyahu described as a “chickenshit.” I thought I appreciated the implication of this description, but it turns out I didn’t have a full understanding. From time to time, current and former administration officials have described Netanyahu as a national leader who acts as though he is mayor of Jerusalem, which is to say, a no-vision small-timer who worries mainly about pleasing the hardest core of his political constituency. (President Obama, in interviews with me, has alluded to Netanyahu’s lack of political courage.)
“The good thing about Netanyahu is that he’s scared to launch wars,” the official said, expanding the definition of what a chickenshit Israeli prime minister looks like. “The bad thing about him is that he won’t do anything to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or with the Sunni Arab states. The only thing he’s interested in is protecting himself from political defeat. He’s not [Yitzhak] Rabin, he’s not [Ariel] Sharon, he’s certainly no [Menachem] Begin. He’s got no guts.”
I ran this notion by another senior official who deals with the Israel file regularly. This official agreed that Netanyahu is a “chickenshit” on matters related to the comatose peace process, but added that he’s also a “coward” on the issue of Iran’s nuclear threat. The official said the Obama administration no longer believes that Netanyahu would launch a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities in order to keep the regime in Tehran from building an atomic arsenal. “It’s too late for him to do anything. Two, three years ago, this was a possibility. But ultimately he couldn’t bring himself to pull the trigger. It was a combination of our pressure and his own unwillingness to do anything dramatic. Now it’s too late.”
This assessment represents a momentous shift in the way the Obama administration sees Netanyahu. In 2010, and again in 2012, administration officials were convinced that Netanyahu and his then-defense minister, the cowboyish ex-commando Ehud Barak, were readying a strike on Iran. To be sure, the Obama administration used the threat of an Israeli strike in a calculated way to convince its allies (and some of its adversaries) to line up behind what turned out to be an effective sanctions regime. But the fear inside the White House of a preemptive attack (or preventative attack, to put it more accurately) was real and palpable—as was the fear of dissenters inside Netanyahu’s Cabinet, and at Israel Defense Forces headquarters. At U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa, analysts kept careful track of weather patterns and of the waxing and waning moon over Iran, trying to predict the exact night of the coming Israeli attack.
Thirty-five years after the Islamic revolution in Iran led to a bitter and lasting confrontation with the West, Iran is emerging as a potential Western ally. The American-led war on the Islamic State, more commonly known as ISIS, has brought together the West and Middle East nations in a common cause. And Iran is on the verge of joining the coalition.
This strange turn of events is raising serious concern among some Middle East leaders who consider Iran a threat to the independence, even existence, of their nations. As the West and Iran rush to solve their differences over Iran’s nuclear weapons program, the hasty embrace of Iran is being watched warily, particularly by the Sunni Gulf states and Israel.
At various locations around the United Nations headquarters a week ago, in the shadow of the General Assembly speeches, frantic, around-the-clock negotiations were going on between Iran’s nuclear experts and their counterparts from six world powers. The aim: a deal that would end sanctions and Iran’s isolation in return for assurances it does not develop nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Iran was quietly expanding its reach. The Houthis, an Iranian-backed, Yemeni Shiite militia, captured much of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, as well as large swaths of territory beyond its traditional strongholds in the country’s north. The coup, which shattered President Barack Obama’s hope that Yemen might become a model for other Middle East nations, was especially worrisome for Yemen’s neighbor, Saudi Arabia, the most formidable Sunni rival to Shiite Iran.
Elsewhere, Iran’s beleaguered ally, President Bashar Assad of Syria, stood to gain from the Western-backed intervention against ISIS, his most formidable enemy in Syria’s civil war. And while Iraq’s new Shiite prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, is more inclusive of Sunni and other minorities than his predecessor, Nouri al-Malaki, he maintains close ties with Tehran, giving Iran an opportunity to play spoiler in a delicate process of Iraqi national reconciliation.
Well aware of its new position, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani told the General Assembly on September 25 that Iran’s promises of help in the war against ISIS depended on Western concessions in the nuclear talks. “We are determined to continue our confidence-building approach and our transparency” in the nuclear negotiations, Rouhani said. “If our interlocutors are equally motivated and flexible,” then Iran and the West can start cooperating on “very important regional issues, such as combating violence and extremism.”
Recent US-Israeli tension is a charade: Ralph Schoenman
An American political commentator has described the latest tension between the United States and Israel as a “charade,” saying it is not something new.
Ralph Schoenman made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Sunday.
The tensions between Washington and Tel Aviv have escalated after the US administration rejected a request by Israeli Minister for Military Affairs Moshe Ya’alon to meet with several top-ranking officials, including Vice President Joe Biden, National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Secretary of State John Kerry, during his five-day visit to Washington this week.
The US officials said Washington was settling scores with Ya’alon for his earlier statements over Kerry’s efforts to forge a peace deal between Israeli and Palestinian officials.
Ya’alon had called Kerry “obsessive” and “messianic” about the so-called peace talks, which came to an abrupt halt in April.
Schoenman said the US is “engaged in a façade of rapprochement with the Palestinian Authority, but that façade is based upon the reality that the Palestinian Authority is administering the security interest of Israel within the West Bank, in fact, within the green line, for that matter and certainly with respect to Gaza.
”Schoenman, the author of "Hidden History of Zionism," said that Tel Aviv “will never accept” the two-state solution because Israeli ministers are demanding that the US formally accepts the idea that there can be no Palestinian state.
Obama Administration Finally Identifies The Middle East’s Biggest Problem: Israel
The Atlantic’s Jeffery Goldberg has written a piece*detailing the deteriorating relationship between Israel and the Obama administration. The chief purpose of Goldberg’s piece is to humiliate Benjamin Netanyahu. None of this is especially shocking, considering the antagonism the administration has shown towards the Jewish State from the start. It’s the sort of antipathy Goldberg identified as*Jewish paranoia*back in 2008.
Iraqi TV comics make fun of Islamic State at huge risk
DAVID ZUCCHINO / LOS ANGELES TIMES
So Satan marries a Jewish woman in Iraq. She lays an egg, which hatches and pops out a wild-eyed, bearded madman the proud couple names the "ISIS-ling."
Their son becomes known as "Beheader." He lops off heads with a bloody sword, shoots people dead and blows up everything in his path with homemade bombs. For exercise, he lifts barbells made of human skulls.
This is Iraq under a future Islamic state, as imagined in "State of Superstition," a hit comedy on state-run Al Iraqiya TV. The half-hour show turns a deadly serious subject — the reign of terror imposed by the extremist group Islamic State in parts of Iraq and Syria — into fodder for spoof and satire.
The Beheader character is a comic takedown of Abu Bakr Baghdadi, the self-proclaimed caliph and Islamic State leader. An actor in a preposterously long and tangled fake beard — one of a couple of dozen fake beards glued on to characters each episode by an overworked makeup artist — plays him as a slogan-spewing buffoon.
Jewish group urges name change for French hamlet 'Death to Jews
AFPAug 12, 2014 10:16 AM
Paris (AFP) - Prominent Jewish group the Simon Wiesenthal Centre has sent a letter to France's interior minister to demand that a tiny hamlet south of Paris called "Death to Jews" be renamed.
The group's director of international affairs, Shimon Samuels, wrote to Bernard Cazeneuve saying he was "shocked to discover the existence of a village in France officially called "Death to Jews" (La-mort-aux-Juifs).
"It is extremely shocking that this name has slipped under the radar in the 70 years that have passed since France was liberated from Nazism and the (pro-Nazi) Vichy regime," he wrote.

Anti-Israelism, not anti-Semitism, voiced in Europe
Those who read the international press on a regular basis, especially those with an*interest in what happens to the Jewish people in Israel and around the world, might have come away with a gloomy picture of the situation in Europe over the last month. Reports of mass flight*and such words as “pogrom” and “Kristallnacht”*kept appearing. The current situation was compared with the era of Nazi rule in Germany. Anti-Israeli sentiment has significantly increased during Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip*and was manifested in many protests around the continent, but apart from such sentiment, is there any evidence*supporting the assumption of our being in the midst of a new and powerful wave of hatred toward Jews?

Another Ambush in Jerusalem as Media Ignores ‘Silent Intifada’
Arab rioters attacked Jewish motorists in eastern Jerusalem Tuesday night in what has become a “silent intifada” thanks to establishment media’s generally ignoring frequent violence.
Arab rioters attacked several cars whose occupants were on their way on the eve of Hoshana Raba, the last day of Sukkot, to learn Torah at the “Beit HaHoshen,” in the heart of a hostile and almost entirely Arab neighborhood above Wadi Joz in eastern Jerusalem.
Shuki Set wrote on the Rotter.net website that he and his son were driving to Beit HaHoshen when they got stuck in a traffic jam, a ready-made setting for Arab violence.
“Arabs suddenly struck our car with rocks at point-blank range,” he wrote. “The kicked the car and smashed the side mirrors, but there was nowhere to flee. We simply stood there like sitting ducks, hoping we would not be physically harmed.
“Suddenly, one of the rioters heaved a huge rock and smashed the back window.
”The driver barely was able to escape the ambush, and he called the police. He discovered that there were other families who were on their way to learn and who also were attacked.
“This Jerusalem!” he wrote. [It is] two minutes from Hebrew University. Where are the police” Where are the authorities?
“I never felt so ashamed and helpless in my life.
“I hope the government will start to exercise its sovereignty over our capital. If we don’t stop this erosion in Beit Hanina, the rioters will get to the Mount of Olives and then Rehavia,” an upscale neighborhood near downtown Jerusalem.
We have news for Shuki. Arab attacks on Jews traveling to and from the Mount of Olives as well as the nearby Maaleh Zeitim neighborhood are almost daily events.
The establishment rarely report on them. Why?
Because their agenda is that “United Jerusalem” includes Ramot and Gilo, maybe Talpiot, Pisgat Ze’ev and French Hill, but does not include anywhere else where Jews live in eastern, southern and northern Jerusalem.
The media silence is somewhat reminiscent of the Arab violence in Gush Katif from the 1990s until the day in the summer of 2005 that the Sharon administration expelled 9,000 Jews from Gaza and withdrew the entire military, down to the last soldier.
The establishment newspapers, website and TV and radio stations only reported violence when someone was killed or badly injured, and they twisted the reportage to push their agenda that things would be a lot more peaceful if the Jews simply would go away.
Even the media snobs in Tel Aviv know today that the result was they also had to hide in bomb shelters to protect themselves from missiles fired in Gaza.
If Israel’s media and political leaders really had learned the lesson, they would not ignore the daily violence in eastern Jerusalem that, thanks to the self-muzzling, has become a “silent intifada.
”Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu last week finally broke the silence and ordered police to crack down on Arab attackers “to ensure the safety of Jerusalem."
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat occasionally stands up and makes a nice speech that the police are not doing enough to protect Jews in eastern Jerusalem.
Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, arguably one of the worst ministers ever to hold the portfolio, insists that his office has zero tolerance towards the rioters” and that hundreds of arrests have been carried out.
In an article rife with hypotheticals and anonymous threats, Reuters is reporting that European diplomats are frustrated with Israel and are searching for ways to whack the Jewish state hard enough to bring it to its knees.
What is disturbing these nameless, faceless “diplomats”? Why, of course the Goebellsian lie that Israel stole the birthright of the Palestinian Arabs and have been furiously building homes on it in order to deprive those Arabs of their rightful homeland.
There is no other way to explain the constant choruses screeching about “the settlements” and denouncing the building of homes for Jews in what they blindly accept must be the future “Palestinian State.”
What follows is a sentence from the*Reuters article. Read it carefully. It is written as if it is simply a claim by the Palestinian Arabs, but the entire rest of the article, indeed, the entire premise of the discussion between the reporters and the “diplomats” accepts the fiction that the Palestinian Arabs are entitled to this future state regardless of how many Jews they kill and, as importantly, how tenuous is their claim. It is simply accepted as a fact, just as it makes clear their belief is that Israel is “stealing” land which is supposed to be in safekeeping for the Arabs.
Palestinians hope to make a future state in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. They accuse Israel of building settlements to strengthen its claim on territories captured in the 1967 Middle East War.
Various techniques for bringing Israel to heel are discussed by the nameless chorus of European diplomats. One of which is so clearly contrary to the modern concept of freedom and democracy that it simply begs to be compared to the ancient disregard for law when Jews are the accused that reigned during the Inquisition, the Crusades, and yes, during the Holocaust.
A tool intended to be used to force Jews to submit to the will of the haters is, essentially, a Blacklist of Criminalized Jews, otherwise known as Settlers.
Discussions regarding this Blacklist are allegedly at an early stage, but “officials say the European Union may look at stopping Jewish settlers convicted of crimes from visiting the EU.
”Although the first time the Reuters article mentions this Blacklist it suggests that it will be used only against “convicted” criminals – whatever that means, and convicted by whom? The quote from a diplomat goes even further.
In a statement that should shake everyone who holds civil liberties and presumption of innocence as sacrosanct, this European official lets it slip that they would like to include on the Blacklist whomever someone – who? the EU? B’tSelem? the New Israel Fund? – accuses of a crime.“The paperwork has been done but it is frozen for now,” said the official.
brenrod-All around Israel is chaos, suffering and slaughter. the enemies and libelers are in chaos called arab*spring. soon this same chaos wil engulf the liars and blood libelers of europe as they frantically attempt to cause the failure of the Jews in Israel because it bankrupts the very essence of their 2000 year supersessionist*lies.
the barren land of 2000 years NOW blooms for the ingathered Jews and NOT the supersessionistchristian replacement jews.*
this is not a prediction but an indisputable current fact which they cannot live with and must destroy. this is why the secular euros and the euro BDS libeling churches collaborate in the project of preventing the success of the Jews in israel.
If the Jews are successful then they have commited 2000 years of lies and slaughter. the nation states of europe were based on them being the replacement of the jews as the chosenorelect.Oct17
William J. Levy-Anti-Jew behavior is tolerated and encouraged in a large part of the world and the Jews do nothing butcomplain and appeal to their haters to be nice. It never worked a thousand years ago and it certainly didn't work in the 1920's with Hitler and the fascist governments after WW I.
Jews stand around while their fellow Jews are attacked and killed and do nothing. What happened in Crown Heights with the invasion of a Kosher deli by Jew hating blacks will happen again and again until the Jews can be taught to use force.
These Ultra-Orthodox Jews who in Israel can throw chairs and spit at Jewish women wanting to pray at the Kotel and can attack Jewish policemen but are afraid to attack black who threat their lives are an embarrassment. Hire ex-Israelis with professional experience to take the fight to your enemies. Seig Hiel means death once again when you do nothing as you did in Europe. "Never Again" you are so proud to say and I answer, "Why Not". Fight or die!Oct 161 person

The American involvement in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has only served to deepen and perpetuate it.It’s time for the U.S. to lay off.By*Gideon Levy*| Oct. 19, 2014
Published 00:30 19.10.14
This may be the greatest mystery of all: the relations between Israel and the U.S.A. They are everything but logical. We have a protégé that humiliates its patron power and a power that grovels in front of its protégé; a power that acts against its own interests and a president who acts contrary to his worldview. We have a protégé whose dependence on the power grows with its effrontery and a power’s unbelievable weakness in the face of its protégé’s brazenness. It’s a wild sado-masochistic game, in which it is not clear who is the slave and who is the master, which is the power and which is its protégé.
“America don’t worry, Israel is behind you” more than just a slogan on a T-shirt sold to American Jews in Jerusalem.
Nothing can fully explain this phenomenon, certainly not in its current dimensions. No Israeli government has permitted itself to disregard the American administration with such impudence as the current one. No American administration has received the spitting in its face as submissively as this one. No other ally in the world, including the European powers, has dared to act so explicitly against the United States’ positions. All this is happening with Israel isolated in the world and dependent on the United States’ mercy, while its policy endangers American and global interests. This state of affairs cannot be explained in full by the Jewish lobby, the Christian lobby or the weapons industry. Go figure.
But you don’t have to penetrate the roots in order to understand the full extent of its damages. This is the time to tell the “leader of the free world:” Hands off the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Leave the sides alone. You’ve never contributed anything to advance its solution anyway. On the contrary, your policy has only deepened and perpetuated it. Yankees, go home, for the sake of peace.
The United States has never been – and could not have been – an honest broker. The absolute patron of one side cannot serve in this position for even a moment. Indeed, the only peace flashes in the region — the treaty with Egypt and the Oslo agreements — were achieved behind America’s back. But the Palestinian Authority, weak and isolated, is forced to accept the broker Uncle Sam, despite the knowledge that nothing will come of this. The PA hardly has a choice.
Meanwhile this uncle finances the occupation, as it has always done, backs it and deepens its expansion. The White House and State Department’s frequent denunciations of the construction in the occupied territories, being sterile of content and devoid of any practical significance, only further legitimize the settlements. America restrains itself and accepts everything. Its weakness in the face of Israel’s policy is no less than astonishing.
The history of the relations between the two states in the last few years is a series of apologies, almost all American, and moralizing lectures, almost all Israeli. For example, over the weekend John Kerry said some things that made sense and were true, mainly that*not solving the Palestinian problem feeds Islamic State.
The*Israeli attack*was not late in coming — this time it was launched by ministers Naftali Bennett and Gilad Erdan. These were followed, of course, by the State Department’s inevitable*pseudo-apology. Perhaps the honorable ministers didn’t understand the secretary and anyway he didn’t mean it. That’s the pattern of relations.
When Sweden takes a*tiny step*to recognize Palestinian statehood, America reproaches it as “premature.” After 47 years it’s premature (to implement declared American policy). Any attempt of the world to increase its involvement to bring an end to the occupation is met with an automatic, blind American veto. Thus America also paralyzes Europe, where public opinion is more agitated over the occupation and is much more informed and involved than in the United States.
Every such move conveys to the Israeli occupation: Keep it up. Continue to rob and usurp, evict and purge. Bombard Gaza’s houses and shoot the West Bank’s children – no harm will befall you. America is behind you.
It is not merely hyperbole when it is said the US created terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda or the so-called “Islamic State.” It is documented fact. The current conflict in the Middle East may appear to be a chaotic conflagration beyond the control of the United States and its many eager allies, but in reality it is the intentional, engineered creation of regional fronts in a war against Iran and its powerful arc of influence.
It is not Western policy that indirectly spurs the creation and perpetuation of terrorist organizations, but in fact, direct, intentional, unmistakable support.
This support would manifest itself in perhaps the most overt and bizarre declaration of allegiance to terrorism to date, US Army General Hugh Shelton on stage before terrorists of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK) and their Wahabist counterparts fighting in Syria, hysterically pledging American material, political, and strategic backing. MEK was listed for years by the US State Department as a foreign terrorist organization, but has received funding, arms, and safe haven by the United States for almost as long.
General Hugh’s speech titled, “Making Iranian mullahs fear, the MEK, come true,” was most likely never meant to be seen or fully understood by Americans. In titled alone, it is clear that US foreign policy intends to use the tool of terrorism to exact concessions from Tehran. If the true nature of America’s support for terrorist organizations like MEK were more widely known, the current narrative driving US intervention in Iraq and Syria would crumble.
MEK Has Killed US Servicemen, Contractors, and Iranian Civilians For Decades
MEK has carried out decades of brutal terrorist attacks, assassinations, and espionage against the Iranian government and its people, as well as targeting Americans including the attempted kidnapping of*US Ambassador Douglas MacArthur II, the attempted assassination of USAF Brigadier*General Harold Price, the successful assassination of*Lieutenant Colonel Louis Lee Hawkins, the double assassinations of*Colonel Paul Shaffer and Lieutenant Colonel Jack Turner, and the successful ambush and killing of American Rockwell International employees William Cottrell, Donald Smith, and Robert Krongard.
Admissions to the deaths of the Rockwell International employees can be found within*a report written by former US State Department and Department of Defense official Lincoln Bloomfield Jr.*on behalf of the lobbying firm*Akin Gump*in an attempt to dismiss concerns over MEK’s violent past and how it connects to its current campaign of armed terror – a testament to the depths of depravity from which Washington and London lobbyists operate.
To this day MEK terrorists have been carrying out attacks inside of Iran killing political opponents, attacking civilian targets, as well as*carrying out the US-Israeli program of targeting and assassinating Iranian scientists. MEK terrorists are also suspected of handling patsies*in recent false flag operations carried out in India, Georgia, and Thailand, which have been ham-handedly blamed on the Iranian government by the United States and Israel.
MEK is described*by Council on Foreign Relations Senior Fellow Ray Takeyh*as a “cult-like organization” with “totalitarian tendencies.” While Takeyh fails to expand on what he meant by “cult-like” and “totalitarian,”*an interview with US State Department-run Radio Free Europe-Radio Liberty*reported that a MEK Camp Ashraf escapee claimed the terrorist organization bans marriage, using radios, the Internet, and holds many members against their will with the threat of death if ever they are caught attempting to escape.
WHEN ‘ISRAEL FIRST’ MEANS CONDONING OLD-SCHOOL ANTI-SEMITISM
MILAN, ITALY—“Anti-Semitism in the ancient form” should no longer be the primary concern for Jews across the world, the outgoing chairwoman of the International Council of Jewish Parliamentarians Fiamma Nirenstein*told*theJerusalem Post*earlier this week. Rather than worrying about the hatred of Jews, she suggests we focus on the hatred against Israel instead.
Now, I see one big problem with this “Israel first” attitude. To put it bluntly: it often leads to making everything else a secondary—that is, expendable—issue.
Israel spied on U.S.-Iran nuclear talks, report says
March 24, 2015 at 3:43 AM
WASHINGTON, March 24 (UPI) --*A new report claims that Israel spied on nuclear talks between the Obama administration and Iran, then leaked details of the negotiations to U.S. lawmakers.
The Wall Street Journal reported Monday*that Israeli Prime Minister*Benjamin Netanyahuwanted to use the intelligence to lobby members of Congress against a potential nuclear weapons deal.
"It is one thing for the U.S. and Israel to spy on each other," a senior White House official told The Journal. "It is another thing for Israel to steal U.S. secrets and play them back to U.S. legislators to undermine U.S. diplomacy."
A senior official from Netanyahu's office has denied the report, calling it "utterly false."
"The state of Israel does not conduct espionage against the United States or Israel's other allies,"*the official said.*"The false allegations are clearly intended to undermine the strong ties between the United States and Israel and the security and intelligence relationship we share."
The report comes at a time of heightened tensions between President*Barack Obama*and Netanyahu, who addressed a joint session of Congress -- at Republicans' request -- without a formal invitation from the White House.
In the March 3 address, Netanyahu criticized the administration's interest in nuclear talks with Iran.
"We've been told that no deal is better than a bad deal. Well, this is a bad deal. It's a very bad deal. We're better off without it," he said.
Exceptional chance for Iran nuclear issue: Rouhani
Exceptional chance for Iran nuclear issue: Rouhani
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani says an "exceptional opportunity" has emerged for the resolution of Tehran's nuclear issue.
Rouhani made the remarks on Thursday in a phone conversation with British Prime Minister David Cameron as Iran,*the United States and the European Union ended a second round of nuclear talks on*Tehran’s nuclear program in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
"We should move in the direction of national and international interests and do not let this opportunity... be missed easily," the Iranian president said.
"Special conditions are prevailing over the negotiations because our common positions regarding the peacefulness of [Iran's] nuclear activities and the necessity of removal of all unjust sanctions can lead us to the final solution," he added.
Rouhani emphasized that Iran’s nuclear energy program is peaceful as required under a fatwa by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Iran and P5+1 group of countries - the United States, France, Britain, Russia, China and Germany - have been in talks to resolve outstanding issues surrounding the Islamic Republic’s peaceful nuclear program.
Rouhani has also written "to the leaders of the P5+1 group of countries" involved in nuclear talks, his office said Thursday.
*France active role urged
In a phone conversation with French President Francois Hollande, Rouhani referred to France’s “positive role” during previous nuclear talks between Iran and three major European states from 2003 to 2005, calling for an “active role” of Paris in ongoing talks in Lausanne.
“Enemies of relations between the two states want a non-constructive*role of France in the negotiations, but the French government will undo their objectives by (playing) its constructive role,” he said.
Hollande also called for a "lasting, robust and verifiable" nuclear accord with Iran.
"The president, while insisting on Iran's legitimate right to use peaceful nuclear power, insisted on the need to work towards a lasting, robust and verifiable agreement on Iran's nuclear program," Hollande's office said in a statement.
Hope for progress
In a phone conversation, Rouhani and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, voiced hope for progress at the talks in Switzerland.
"Hope was expressed for success at the new round of talks in Lausanne," the Kremlin said in a statement.
The two leaders "noted with satisfaction the progress" made over previous weeks over Iran’s nuclear drive.
Rouhani and Putin also discussed the latest developments of Yemen.
Putin said that his country is against any military intervention in Yemen and that Moscow considers the Saudi invasion as a non-constructive*move. *
Saudi invasion condemned
In his phone talks, Rouhani highlighted the Saudi airstrikes against Yemen that left dozens of people dead, condemning any military intervention in the internal affairs of independent nations.
In talks with Hollande, the Iranian president described the Saudi invasion as a dangerous move.
"Interference by foreign militaries is very dangerous and deepens the crisis," Rouhani said, adding that the "solution to Yemen's problems is not military."
On Thursday, Saudi warplanes carried out several airstrikes against Yemen, hitting the cities of Sana’a, Sa’ada and Ta’izz.
Saudi warplanes started bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters and launched attacks against the Sana’a International Airport and the Dulaimi airbase early on Thursday.
Published on Nov 26, 2014There is an undeniable point which is the fact that the takfiri orientation and the governments which support and advocate it move completely in the direction of the goals of arrogance and Zionism. Their work is in line with the goals of America, the colonialist governments in Europe and the government of the usurping Zionist regime.
Certain signs confirm this claim. The takfiri orientation is Islamic on the face of it, but in practice, it is at the service of the great colonialist, arrogant and political orientations that are working against the world of Islam. There are clear signs which cannot be ignored. I would like to mention a few of these signs: one is that the takfiri orientation managed to make the movement of Islamic Awakening deviate from its path. The movement of Islamic Awakening was an anti-American and anti-arrogance movement which was against the elements that America had installed in the region.
It was a movement that had been launched by the masses of the people in different countries of North Africa. These countries were against arrogance and America. The takfiri orientation changed the direction of this anti-arrogance, anti-American and anti-tyranny movement. It turned it into a war between Muslims and into fratricide. The front line of fighting in the region was the borders of occupied Palestine, but the takfiri orientation came and changed this front line to the streets of Baghdad, the Jameh Mosque of Syria and Damascus, the streets of Pakistan and different cities of Syria. These places became the front line of fighting.
Take a look at the condition of today's Libya, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and see against whom the forces and swords of Muslims are being used. These forces should have been used against the Zionist regime. The takfiri orientation changed the direction of this fighting to our homes, our cities and our Islamic countries. They cause explosions inside the Jameh Mosque of Damascus. They kill people by causing explosions in Baghdad while they are holding their ordinary rallies. In Pakistan, they fire a volley of bullets on hundreds of people. As you can witness today, they are creating such disastrous conditions in Libya. All of these are among the unforgettable and historical crimes of the takfiri orientation.
It is this orientation that has brought about this situation. This movement is at the service of arrogance. It is at the service of America and England. What they do is at the service of the intelligence services of America and England. It is at the service of Mossad and other such intelligence services.
Another sign is that those who support the takfiri orientation compromise with the Zionist regime so that it fights against Muslims. They do not even frown at the Zionist regime, but they deliver all sorts of blows to Islamic countries and nations and they hatch all sorts of plots against them.
Another sign is that the seditious movement which the takfiri orientation launched in Islamic countries - including Iraq, Syria, Libya, Lebanon and other countries - has led to the destruction of the valuable infrastructures of these countries. Notice how many roads, refineries, mines, airports, streets, cities and houses have been destroyed in these countries. Notice how long it takes and how much money is necessary for these countries to go back to their prior conditions. This has happened as a result of domestic wars and fratricide. These are the losses and the blows that the takfiri orientation has delivered to the world of Islam since a few years ago until today.
Over 300 artists, including from France, Turkey and Brazil, turn in works for competition derided by UNESCO
By Joshua Davidovich and Justin Jalil April 7, 2015, 5:33 am 41
Hundreds of people from Iran and around the world have submitted art for a “Holocaust cartoon contest,” an official from the competition said Monday.
Secretary Masud Shojaei-Tabatabaii told Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency that 839 works had been submitted to the Second International Holocaust Cartoon Contest, a cynical sequel to a much derided 2006 competition making light of the slaughter of 6 million Jews in Europe during World War II.
Organizers putting on the contest say it is designed to highlight the world’s double standard in defending caricatures of the Muslim prophet Mohammed, whose depiction is taboo in Islam.
The works are also meant to question why Palestinians are “oppressed in compensation” for the Holocaust and warn of other Holocausts, including Gaza, according to a website for the contest.
A second caricature section carries the “theme” of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Adolf Hitler, according to the website.
Shojaei-Tabatabaii said 312 artists had submitted works to the contest, including 104 from Iran and 208 from a smattering of other countries, including France, Turkey and Brazil.
The contest was announced in January in response to international support for French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo following an attack on the magazine’s offices by Islamists apparently incensed by the magazine’s depiction of Mohammed.
Israel asked the UN to condemn the contest, saying it contributed to an atmosphere of anti-Semitism.
“The contest legitimizes Holocaust denial and encourages those who deny the Shoah to continue with their incitement,” Israeli ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, wrote in a letter in February.
UNESCO head Irina Bokova later spoke out against the contest, according to the World Jewish Congress.
The deadline for entries was April 1. The winner will receive a cash prize of $12,000, with those in second and third place taking home $8,000 and $5,000 respectively, according to the website.
Top works from the upcoming competition will be displayed at the Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran and several other locations throughout the Iranian capital.
The competition is the second iteration of an earlier Holocaust cartoon contest in 2006 launched after Danish newspaper Jyllands-Postens published cartoons depicting Mohammed.
The winner of the previous contest, Abdellah Derkaoui of Morocco, drew an Israeli crane erecting a wall around the Dome of the Rock. The Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp is featured on the wall.
That contest was condemned by the US State Department, as well as then-UN secretary general Kofi Annan, officials in Israel and the anti-Defamation league.
Iran has held a number of events questioning the Holocaust in the past, including a conference intended to prove the Shoah as exaggerated.
Thousands Are Now in Prison Merely for What They Said... Some Are in the Grave”
Ernst Zundel is a nice man. Compassionate, considerate, he’s a Christian and an artist. I was blessed several years ago to receive one of his works, a painting of Jesus on the cross. Ernst never served in the military. He is a pacifist. But he did serve seven long years in a prison cell, merely for questioning some aspects of the holocaust.

Anti-Jewish Racism on Rise Across Europe, Worst Since Hitler’s National Socialists
Experts say attacks go beyond Israel-Palestinian conflict as hate crimes strike fear into Jewish communities.
This is a most serious issue, but before we get to the article, the term Anti-Semitic needs defining.
The excerpt below is from a UK Guardian article. It uses the term anti-Semitic. That term is nonsensical in today’s world. Jews, Arabs, Syrians and most peoples of the Middle East are Semitic. The term today means Anti-Jewish. The groups in the world that are generally the most Anti-Jewish ones, are Semitic ones, such as Hamas.
A Semite is a member of any of various ancient and modern Semitic-speaking peoples originating in the Near East, including; Akkadians (Assyrians/Syriacs and Babylonians), Ammonites, Amorites, Arameans, Chaldeans, Canaanites (including Hebrews/Israelites/Jews and Phoenicians/Carthaginians), Eblaites, Dilmunites, Edomites, Ethiopian Semites, Hyksos, Arabs, Nabateans, Maltese, Mandaeans, Mhallami, Moabites, Shebans and Ugarites. Wasserman Schultz Condemns Jewish intermarriage, admits Jews are the reason for Islamic terrorism
February 4, 2015 at 12:52 am
Commentary – The following is an excerpt from Congresswoman and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s comments to a meeting of the Jewish Federation. Notice that there is no controversy over her speech in front of this ethnically based and frankly racist organization, and the only reason that it raised eyebrows at all was that she called assimilation and intermarriage problems for Jews. Contrast this to Steve Scalise. Nobody has even alleged that he said anything questionable to the EURO meeting back in 2003. The mere fact that he may have attended the organization’s meeting is enough for many to call for his resignation.
The other significant comment that Wasserman Shultz made that is being overlooked is her admission that Jews are the crux of the reason that Islamic fundamentalists are engaged in a global jihad.
What really happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370
March 20, 2014 What really happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 3702014-03-20T21:09:34+00:00 News, Uncategorized
It sounds like an expensive cigar, but Diego Garcia is actually a United States military base that we technically rent from the United Kingdom. At 967 nautical miles south-southwest from the southern tip of India, it is more or less midway between Indonesia and the African continent. The US Navy operates its Naval Support Facility (NSF) there, which is a naval ship and submarine support base, military air base, as well as a communications and space-tracking facility.
It also includes a base of operations for the CIA. You’ll note there is no question mark at the end of this article’s title.
Why so few have postulated that this facility may have played a part in the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 may or may not seem odd at first blush given the circumstances: I mean, it’s not a secret base, though clandestine activities conducted there certainly would be. At any rate, I am told Diego Garcia is the location to which Flight 370 was diverted. My source has actually been to Diego Garcia, and assures me that you can land a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy there. Those are the military transport planes they load tanks aboard, and they’re just about the size of a Boeing 777.
At Diego Garcia, some 20 civilian technical personnel were removed from the aircraft for interrogation. On March 8, Reuters reported that 20 employees of U.S. chipmaker Freescale Semiconductor were passengers on Flight 370, according to a statement from the company. It is said that these employees traveled regularly between company facilities in Tianjin, China, and Kuala Lumpur. It may be presumed that these individuals were the same 20 who were reportedly taken to Diego Garcia for interrogation, although my information holds that the detainees (if you will) were working in their capacities as contractors.
Two additional distinguishing and erroneous doctrines of the Shepherd's Chapel are known as the Serpent Seed doctrine and the Kenite doctrine. The two are intimately related. The Serpent Seed doctrine is the teaching that in the Garden of Eden, the serpent (the devil) had sexual relations with Eve. The result was that she bore Cain. The descendents of Cain are called Kenites. Abel, however, is the result of Adam and Eve having relations.
Arnold Murray, the pastor of the Shepherd's Chapel, is the primary advocate of these doctrines which he adamantly teaches and which his followers have adopted as biblical truth. Mr. Murray states,
"When you look for the in-depth meaning of "men as trees, walking", you are able to see that Christ wants us to understand there are plantings of God and plantings of the devil. The plantings of that wicked one began in the garden of Eden with the conception of Cain and follow down through his progeny, the Kenites." (Newsletter #195, Jan 1995. See also, #202, August 1995).
The Kenites, according to Mr. Murray, must be exposed. "We must continue to teach who the Kenites are," says Mr. Murray, (Newsletter #190, August 1994). He states that the Kenites survived the flood (he denies the global flood) and are found in the lineage of Israel, not Judah, (Newsletter #179, Sept. 1993). Eventually, the Kenites permeated the nation of Israel and are the ones who shouted "Crucify Him," in reference to Jesus, (Newsletter #179, Sept. 1993).
In an attempt at biblical support, on his website at Answers to Critics, Mr. Murray states:
"In Gen. 3:15 God is speaking to the serpent, 'and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel.'"
Mr. Murray infers that when God says "thy seed" to Satan, He is referring to the Kenites, the descendents of Cain which were produced through the literal "seed" of Satan.

A tribe of Palestine, mentioned in the time of Abraham as possessing a part of the promised land (Gen. xv. 19). At the Exodus it inhabited the vicinity of Sinai and Horeb; and to it belonged Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses (Judges i. 16). In Ex. iii. 1 Jethro is said to have been "priest of Midian" and a Midianite (Num. iv. 29); hence the conclusion seems justified that the Midianites and Kenites are identical. The Kenites journeyed with the Israelites to Palestine (Judges i. 16); and their encampment, apart from the latter's, was noticed by Balaam (Num. xxiv. 21-22).
At a later period some of the Kenites separated from their brethren in the south, and went to northern Palestine (Judges iv. 11), where they existed in the time of Saul. The kindness which they had shown to Israel in the wilderness was gratefully remembered. "Ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt," said Saul to them (I Sam. xv. 6); and so not only were they spared by him, but David allowed them to share in the spoil that he took from the Amalekites (ib. xxx. 29).
According to the critical interpretation of the Biblical data, the Kenites were a clan settled on the southern border of Judah, originally more advanced in arts than the Hebrews, and from whom the latter learned much. In the time of David the Kenites were finally incorporated into the tribe of Judah (I Sam. xxx. 29; comp. ib. xxvii. 10). Their eponymous ancestor was Cain (Kain), to whose descendants J in Gen. iv. attributes the invention of the art of working bronze and iron, the use of instruments of music, etc. Sayce has inferred (in Hastings, "Dict. Bible," s.v.) that the Kenites were a tribe of smiths—a view to which J's statements would lend support.
Jethro, priest of Midian, and father-in-law of Moses, is said (Judges i. 16) to have been a Kenite. This indicates that the Kenites originally formed part of the Midianite tribe or tribes. In Ex. xviii. 12 et seq., according to E, Jethro initiates Moses and Aaron into the worship of Yhwh. Several modern scholars believe, in consequence of this statement, that Yhwh was a Kenite deity, and that from the Kenites through the agency of Moses his worship passed to the Israelites. This view, first proposed by Ghillany, afterward independently by Tiele, and more fully by Stade, has been more completely worked out by Budde; and is accepted by Guthe, Wildeboer, H. P. Smith, and Barton.
The Kenites, then, were a nomadic tribe, more advanced in the arts of life than Israel. Their habitat, according to the first Biblical reference to them, was in the Sinaitic peninsula (unless Horeb is to be sought in Edom), and a part of them, viz., Jethro and his family (Num. x. 29-32; Judges l.c.), migrated with the Israelites to the neighborhood of Jericho, afterward settled in the south of Judah, and were finally absorbed by that tribe.

That Satan will have a son ought not to surprise us. The Devil is a consummate imitator and much of his success in deceiving men is due to his marvelous skill in counterfeiting the things of God. Below we give a list of some of his imitations: --
Do we read of Christ going forth to sow the "good seed" (Matt.13:24), then we also read of the enemy going forth to sow his "tares" -- an imitation wheat (Matt.13:25). Do we read of "the children of God," then we also read of "the children of the wicked one" (Matt.13:38). Do we read of God working in His children "both to will and to do of His good pleasure" (Phil.2:13), then we are also told that the Prince of the power of the air is "the spirit that now woreth in the children of disobedience" (Eph.2:2). Do we read of the Gospel of God, then we also read that Satan has a gospel -- "Another gospel, which is not another" (Gal.1:6, 7). Did Christ appoint "apostles," then Satan has his apostles too (2 Cor.11:13). Are we told that "the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Cor.2:10), then Satan also provides his "deep things" (see Greek of Rev.2:24). Are we told that God, by His angel, will "seal" His servants in their foreheads (Rev.7:3), so also we read that Satan, by his angels, will set a mark in the foreheads of his devotees (Re.13:16). Does the Father seek "worshippers" (John 4:23), so also does Satan (Rev.13:4). Did Christ quote scripture, so also did Satan (Matt.4:6). Is Christ the Light of the world, then Satan also is transformed as an "angel of light" (2 Cor.11:14). Is Christ denominated "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" (Rev.5:5), then the Devil is also referred to as "a roaring lion" (1 Peter 5:6). Do we read of Christ and "His angels" (Matt.24:31), then we also read of the Devil and "his angels" (Matt.25:41). Did Christ work miracles, so also will Satan (2 Thess.2:9). Is Christ seated upon a "Throne," so also will Satan be (Rev.2:13, Gk.). Has Christ a Church, then Satan has his "synagogue" (Rev.2:9). Has Christ a "bride," then Satan has his "whore" (Rev.17:16). Has God His "Vine," so has Satan (Rev.14:19). Does God have a city, the new Jerusalem, then Satan has a city, Babylon (Rev.17:5; 18:2). Is there a "mystery of godliness" (1 Tim 3:16), so also there is a "mystery of iniquity" (2 Thess.2:7). Does God have an only-begotten Son, so we read of "the Son of Perdition" (2 Thess.2:3). Is Christ called "the Seed of the woman," then the Antichrist will be "the seed of the serpent" (Gen.3:15). Is the Son of God also the Son of Man, then the son of Satan will also be the "Man of Sin" (2 Thess.2:3).
Netanyahu’s Congress invitation raises eyebrows among some US generals
Analysis: Top brass who have questioned Obama’s strategies don't want a foreign leader influencing US decision-making
February 2, 2015 5:00AM ET
by Mark Perry - @markperrydc
The uniformed leaders of the U.S. military have had a testy relationship with President Barack Obama since he took office in 2009, with a number of relatively public spats revealing discord over how his administration has approached the use of military force. So it might be assumed that when a foreign politician confronts Obama, portraying his policies on threats overseas as naive, many in the senior uniformed ranks would nod in silent affirmation. But that’s not what has happened since House Speaker John Boehner invited Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Obama’s Iran policy in Congress. Instead the speech, planned for next month, has rallied senior military figures behind the president, with some warning that there’s a limit to what U.S. military officers consider acceptable criticism of the commander in chief.
Obama and his generals have clashed privately and publicly since 2009 over his plans to draw down troops and exit from Afghanistan, and a number of respected recently retired top commanders told Congress that what they called the administration’s piecemeal strategy against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria is destined to fail. Some have also publicly recorded misgivings about Obama’s Iran strategy. Still, Netanyahu’s planned speech has prompted a number of senior military men to rally around the office of a president whose policies they regularly, if privately, question.
Serving uniformed officers are loath to comment on an inflammatory political question — “You’re inviting me to end my career,” one senior Pentagon officer told me when asked to comment on Boehner’s invitation to Netanyahu, “but, if it’s all the same to you, I’d rather not.” But a senior Joint Chiefs of Staff officer who regularly briefs the U.S. high command was willing to speak bluntly in exchange for anonymity. “There’s always been a lot of support for Israel in the military,” the officer said, “but that’s significantly eroded over the last few years. This caps it. It’s one thing for Americans to criticize their president and another entirely for a foreign leader to do it. Netanyahu doesn’t get it. We’re not going to side with him against the commander in chief. Not ever.”
Retired Army Gen. Paul Eaton concurs. He was recently quoted as an avowed friend of Israel in a widely discussed article in the Israeli daily Haaretz. He warned that Netanyahu’s appearance would be “perilous to both countries” but saved his harshest criticism for Boehner, saying, “It is highly inappropriate for the speaker of the House to so publicly meddle in foreign affairs,” he said. “It is a gross breach of protocol to invite a head of state without due coordination with the president.” Eaton was quick to add that, despite the controversy, “Israel will never lose me or the American people as the most loyal of friends.”
Barack Obama’s top aide says Israeli ‘occupation’ must end
Dennis McDonough says the White House isn’t impressed with Israeli prime minister’s effort to backtrack on campaign comments.
By Edward-Isaac Dovere
3/23/15 3:37 PM EDT
White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough made clear in a speech to a left-leaning Israel advocacy group that President Barack Obama isn’t letting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off the hook for his dismissal of a two-state solution.
That stance, as well as Netanyahu’s suggestion also made in the closing days before last week’s Israeli elections that he’d approved settlements in contested territory in Jerusalem for the strategic purpose of changing the borders are “so very troubling,” McDonough told J Street’s annual conference in Washington. He called the pro-Israel group, which opposes some of Netanyahu’s policies, “our partner.”
The Serpent seed, two-seedline, or dual seed doctrine is a belief that Eve had sexual relations with Satan (The Serpent) in the Garden of Eden, resulting in the birth of Cain – Satan’s own son. Those who believe this teaching see it as the common thread that binds together the Holy Bible from beginning to end. Without this knowledge, they believe it would be difficult for one to properly understand history, current events, prophecy, or the true mystery of the battle taking place between good and evil.
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.”
“He that soweth the good seed (sperma) is the Son of man: The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil…”
Is The Serpent Seed Doctrine Biblical?
Many religionists would have you believe that the “Serpent seed” teaching is heresy. For whenever they hear someone teach it they screech out at the top of their lungs, “False Teacher, False Teacher!” But you know, it isn’t really important how they feel or what they say about it. Because religionists are rarely ever right when it comes to finding the truth. They’re usually too busy trying to make themselves feel or appear holy, and are thus blinded from the truth (Matt 15:14).
Others reject it simply because they are too entrenched in the traditions of men or the doctrine of some church denomination (Matt 15:9, Mark 4:12). Thus the blinders cover their eyes as well.
You see those who denounce the Serpent seed teaching as heresy, not only deny the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, but they also miss out on the first prophecy of the entire Bible. And if you can’t get the first prophecy of the Bible right, how in the world are you going to be able to understand any prophecies of the Bible?
You can’t. At least not with much understanding.
For if one cannot understand the beginning, they’ll never be able to understand the end.
Genesis 3:15 – The first prophecy
There are all kinds of conspiracy theories floating around the Internet, many of which are purely bogus, and some just partly true. One theory will tell you that the Freemasons are behind everything. Another will tell you that America is Mystery Babylon. Another will tell you that the royal family of Britain is secretly controlling the world. And on and on the list goes…
But instead of being a paranoid scizaphrenic blaming one group and then another, why not find out who’s really conspiring against us by listening to the Word of God. That’s much better than listening to nutcases isn’t it?
Meir Dagan says current policy vis-a-vis Palestinians will lead to either bi-national or apartheid state
By Avi Lewis March 5, 2015, 10:47 pm 459
Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan lambasted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a Channel 2 interview previewed Thursday, calling his speech before Congress “bullshit,” and charging that his policy vis-a-vis the Palestinians endangered the Zionist dream.
“The reality being championed by Netanyahu and [Jewish Home party leader Naftali] Bennett will result in a bi-national state. I think that’s a catastrophe,” Dagan said.
“In the Palestinian arena, [Netanyahu’s] policy will lead … to apartheid,” he told Channel 2 Thursday, adding that such an outcome will “end the Zionist dream.”
The former spymaster, who spent eight years at the helm of Israel’s shadowy intelligence agency, will lead a Tel Aviv rally Saturday night to advocate a change of government.
Obama: Iran recognition of Israel not part of deal
David Jackson, USA TODAY 5:53 p.m. EDT April 6, 2015
WASHINGTON – President Obama says Iran should not be required to recognize the state of Israel as part of a nuclear agreement involving the United States and its allies.
"The notion that we would condition Iran not getting nuclear weapons in a verifiable deal on Iran recognizing Israel is really akin to saying that we won't sign a deal unless the nature of the Iranian regime completely transforms," Obama told NPR News. "And that is, I think, a fundamental misjudgment."
Obama told NPR in an interview taped Monday that he wants an agreement restricting Iran's nuclear program "precisely because we can't bank on the nature of the regime changing – that's exactly why we don't want to have nuclear weapons."
He added: "If suddenly Iran transformed itself to Germany or Sweden or France then there would be a different set of conversations about their nuclear infrastructure."
Why Iranian recognition of Israel’s right to exist is needed

Why is Israel urging that Iran should be required to recognize the Jewish state's right to exist as part of a nuclear deal? For the exact same reason that Yitzhak Rabin insisted on Palestinian recognition of Israel as part of the 1993 Oslo Accords.
When Yasser Arafat and the Palestine Liberation Organization began seeking international recognition in the early 1970s, Israel and the United States both insisted that the PLO had to publicly recognize Israel's right to exist as a precondition for any Israeli or U.S. dealings with it.
Arafat wasn't quite ready for that. He tried to have his cake and eat it too. He would authorize lower-level PLO officials to meet with Israeli or American Jewish left-wing activists, who would emerge from the meeting claiming that the PLO was "ready to recognize Israel." That was sufficient for either Likud or Labor governments or Republican or Democratic administrations.
At the end of 1988, in the twilight period between President Ronald Reagan leaving office and President George H.W. Bush succeeding him, the State Department coaxed Arafat into making a vague statement that it claimed constituted recognition of Israel. The Israelis disagreed, but the Bush administration went ahead and established a formal relationship with the PLO. That lasted a year and half, however, until one of Arafat's factions tried to carry out a massacre on the Tel Aviv beachfront. The Bush administration declared that Arafat's complicity showed that his "recognition" statement was insincere.
In the years to follow, Arafat kept dancing around the magic words. At one point, the PLO chairman tried to explain away the PLO National Covenant by saying, in French, "C'est caduc," i.e. null and void. That wasn't enough for Prime Minister Rabin. He didn't want some vague comment in a Paris interview. He wanted Arafat to say it out loud, clearly, as part of a formal commitment. (And President Bill Clinton even personally traveled to Gaza to oversee a meeting of the Palestine National Council in which the Covenant was allegedly changed.)
It was only when Arafat was willing to say the right words, out loud, that Rabin agreed to proceed with the Oslo Accords. He wanted Arafat to say he recognized Israel in English, so he would be making the pledge before the international community. And, most importantly, he wanted Arafat to say to say it in Arabic, so that ordinary Palestinians would hear it.

Above photo: tweet from Muslim students at my talk making the Islamic State salute in solidarity with savages. People are claiming this was just a show of Muslim piety (adherence to monotheism), and meant nothing in connection with the Islamic State. But there was a lot of support for the Islamic State in the room tonight. Even when i was describing ISIS videos and their atrocities, there were Arabic calls of praise (“Alhamdulillah!” — “thanks be to God”). And when I posted this photo, the Islamic supremacists who had put it on Twitter removed it. The deception continues.
Harvey Weinstein Urges Jews to Take on Anti-Semites: "Kick These Guys in the Ass"
March 24, 2015 11:49pm PT by Scott Feinberg, Tina Daunt
"We're gonna have to get as organized as the mafia," the mogul told the audience at the Simon Wiesenthal Center's national tribute dinner, where he was introduced by friend and competitor Jeffrey Katzenberg as "a really nice Jewish Boy"
"We better stand up and kick these guys in the ass," movie mogul Harvey Weinstein said about present-day anti-Semites as he accepted the Humanitarian Award at the Simon Wiesenthal Center's National Tribute Dinner on Tuesday night at the Beverly Hilton. "We're gonna have to get as organized as the mafia," he continued. "We just can't take it anymore from these crazy bastards"
A look at the writings of the ISIS victim shows her support and aid to Palestinian Arab terror groups, her acting as a human shield for them, and her active participation in anti-Israel protests. Rachel Corrie did the same.

For the second time this year,*free speech and religious liberties*are colliding at Garland ISD’s Curtis Culwell Center.
Religious liberties?*How cynical. Religious liberty to silence free speech and impose draconian sharia speech restrictions on non-Muslims? The word liberty in describing supremacism is monstrously Orwellian.
Opponents say the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest on Sunday will be an attack on Islam.
How is free speech an attack on Islam? And why are they portrayed as the victim when we are the victims of supremacism and jihad?
But its organizers, who booked the event after a controversial pro-Islamic event used the center in January, say they are simply exercising their right of expression. The contest, which is offering a top prize of $10,000, has received about 350 entries depicting Muhammad. But caricatures of the Islamic prophet are considered offensive by many Muslims. In January, a French newspaper that published such cartoons was attacked by terrorists and 12 people died. In January, a French newspaper that published such cartoons was attacked by terrorists and 12 people died. As part of its contract with the district, the American Freedom Defense Initiative has paid $10,000 for extra security — nearly $50 for each of about 200 tickets that have been purchased so far. That cost doesn’t include private security the group is employing. “It does speak to the world at large that we have to have this intense security around this art exhibit,” organizer Pamela Geller said in February. “That’s all it is … an art exhibit and a cartoon contest.” Geller’s New York-based group booked the Curtis Culwell Center after it was the location for Sound Vision Foundation’s Stand With the Prophet in Honor and Respect event. That pro-Islamic program drew hundreds [sic -*we were thousands] of protesters in January.*
Officer: Shooting at Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas

GARLAND, Texas (AP) — A provocative contest for cartoon depictions of the Prophet Muhammad in a Dallas suburb is on lockdown after authorities reported a shooting outside the building.
An officer dressed in SWAT gear took the stage toward the end of the event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland and told attendees, including an Associated Press reporter, that a shooting had occurred. He said one officer and two suspects were shot.
It wasn't immediately clear if the shooting was related to the
Garland Police Department spokesman Joe Harn declined to confirm the SWAT officer's statements and said he had no details.
Attendees were taken to another room. Authorities said around 8 p.m. Sunday that the group would be moved to a nearby high school.
The New York-based American Freedom Defense Initiative was hosting a contest that would award $10,000 for the best cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad at the venue.
Such drawings are deemed insulting to many followers of Islam and have sparked violence around the world. According to mainstream Islamic tradition, any physical depiction of the Prophet Muhammad — even a respectful one — is considered blasphemous.
In January, 12 people were killed by gunmen in an attack against the Paris office of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which had lampooned Islam and other religions and used depictions of Muhammad.
Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, said that she planned the Sunday event to make a stand for free speech in response to the outcries and violence over drawings of Muhammad.
Geller's group is known for mounting a campaign against the building of an Islamic center blocks from the World Trade Center site and for buying advertising space in cities across the U.S. criticizing Islam.
The group did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment late Sunday.
