What is RIGHTEOUSNESS? Do humans really want it???
God wishes for every believer too listen! And to fight for Righteouness! This is your "FINAL CHANCE"???
The word “righteousness” has become a religious cliché that has lost its meaning to many people. ... A layman's definition of righteousness is simply, “right standing with God.” Righteousness is the condition of being in right relationship with the Lord. This can only happen through TOTAL faith and dependence upon Christ.
The word “righteousness” has become a religious cliché that has lost its meaning to many people. Even Christians are confused about what righteousness is and how to receive it. This has left our society without a clear understanding of what it takes to have a relationship with God. This is reflected in our nation’s moral collapse. It’s imperative that we get back to the basics of righteousness.
“Righteousness” and its counterpart, “righteous,” appear 540 times in 520 verses of the Bible. In contrast, “faith,” “faithfulness,” and “faithful” are only used 348 times in 328 verses. This means that there are 1.5 times as many scriptures about righteousness as there are about faith. Righteousness is important.
A layman’s definition of righteousnes is simply, “right standing with God.” Righteousness is the condition of being in right relationship with the Lord. This can only happen through TOTAL faith and dependence upon Christ. There is no other way, and there is nothing we can add to our faith to obtain right relationship with the Lord (Rom. 11:6).
One of the things that blinds people to a true understanding of righteousness is confusion about how we become right in the sight of God. It is commonly thought that our actions are the determining factor in God’s judgment of our righteousness. That’s not true. There is a relationship between our actions and our right standing with God, but right relationship with God produces actions, not the other way around. That is to say, we are not made righteous by what we do.
Righteousness is a gift that comes from the Lord to those who accept what Jesus has done for them by faith (Rom. 5:17-18). The gift of salvation produces a changed heart that, in turn, changes our actions. Actions cannot change our hearts. It’s the heart of man that God looks upon (1 Sam. 16:7), and we must be righteous in our hearts to truly worship God (John 4:24).
The mistake of thinking that doing right makes us right is the same error the Pharisees made. Religion has always preached that if we clean up our actions, our hearts will become clean too. Jesus taught just the opposite (Matt. 23:25-26). It’s through a changed heart that our actions change. The heart is the issue. Actions are only an indication of what is in our hearts. Actions are the fruit the heart produces.
Modern-day Christianity often puts the emphasis on actions instead of issues of the heart. This is reflected in Christians’ excessive efforts to legislate change in people’s actions instead of changing their hearts by the preaching of the Gospel. It’s the Gospel that contains the power of God, not political action groups (Rom. 1:16). Laws only affect actions. The Gospel changes hearts. Once hearts are changed, actions change.
Contrary to popular belief, Christianity does not promote receiving justice from the Lord. Praise God for that! The Lord has a much better plan. We get what we believe.
We Can’t Waste This Chance That God Has Provided

It as been a few weeks now since Trump pulled off a historical victory.
Already we are seeing things move in a positive direction. BUT… we need to make sure that we do not put him on a high pedestal!
While his victory could potentially be a great turning point for America let’s not forget that He’s just a man and if the Church and the Nation doesn’t change it will be in vain.
I have posted to the site a really good article titled “The King Cyrus Crisis: If we blow this…disaster will strike” – By Mario Murillo
In the recent days, I have to admit that I have liked reading Mario’s political commentary. This is one such article and I want to cast some light on it so that people will read it and take it to heart.
Here is his opening statement…
“Trump is not a pastor or a moral reformer. Trump is a foot in the door—a stay of execution. He is an act of God to buy the church time to repent and return to her rightful role in American life.”
I totally agree and we as Christians need to remember that we are being given mercy and a chance to reinvigorate the culture war.
If we sit back on our laurels and “let Trump do it all.” If we take that attitude of complacency, we will fail. Now more than ever we must continue to rise up and be a voice as well as take action.
I was encouraged when people went and picketed the Hamilton show and insisted on getting their money back for the tickets. This is the sort of action that we need to start showing.
We can no longer afford being the “the silent majority” we need to become the “vocal and active majority.”
James tells us that faith without works is dead.
This is the same sort of situation, we must be willing to act. We need to get behind this conservative movement so that we can help re-instill our Christian heritage and possibly see prayer returned to schools, the 10 commandments placed back in public places. Planned Parenthood defunded and if Trump can place the proper sort of justices, see Roe v. Wade overturned.
This is just a sample of what is at stake, but if we are not willing to take action, then all will be for not.
We must be willing to make the hard choices and do the right things. We need to get out of our comfort zone and be willing to get out on the battle field.
It is time for us as lay people to stand up and let these liberal left Marxist / communist minded people know that we are not going to let them steal our nation again.

Trump 'Only US Politician' Who Gives Christians Hope, Russia's Spiritual Leader Says

Patriarch Kirill, the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church, has said that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is the only American politician to give Russians, and Christians, hope in successfully fighting off the Islamic State terror group.
Kirill made the remarks in an interview with Russia Today, translated into English, where he said that although he doesn't know Trump personally, he has been encouraged by his strong stance against terrorism.
NOTE TO HUMANITY-If he becomes Secretary of State, NEOCONS will infest this department, and the same "Dirty Dealings" (Wars, Drugs, Arms For Terrorist, False Flags, etc..) will continue in the World. This Department has historically been home to "The Nest of NWO Vipers" to plot. steal, corrupt, destroy, and cause mayhem the world over.
Sneaky Pieces of Shit in the U.S House Pass Syria No-Fly Zone Bill; Setting up war with Russia! Featured
Post by Editorial Board - Nov 26, 2016 - 7
Last July, hook-nose Eliot Engel (D-NY) introduced a bill ordering the President to report on what is needed to establish a "No-Fly Zone" inside Syria. On November 15, sneaky pieces of shit in Congress, pulled a fast-one and voted the Bill under suspended rules.
Naturally, our good-for-nothing mass-media (i.e ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN FOX, the AP, UPI et al.) kept completely quiet about it despite this Bill being direct threat of war with Russia!
Consortium News reports:
On Nov. 15, one week after the U.S. elections, the lame-duck congress convened in special session with normal rules suspended so the house could pass House Resolution 5732, the “Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act” calling for intensifying the already harsh sanctions on Syria, assessing the imposition of a “no fly zone” inside Syria (to prevent the Syrian government from flying) and escalating efforts to press criminal charges against Syrian officials…
Most strikingly, the resolution calls for evaluating and developing plans for the United States to impose a “no fly zone” inside Syria, a sovereign nation, an act of war that also would violate international law as an act of aggression. It also could put the U.S. military in the position of shooting down Russian aircraft.”
UPDATE: ESPN Subscriber Numbers Continue Nosedive
November 30, 20161 Min Read
The latest numbers from Nielson indicate that ESPN subscription numbers are still in a free-fall.
Breitbart News is reporting that ESPN lost another 555,000 subscribers in November, right after the worst month in company history.
In contrast, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, and the SEC Network, all other Disney-owned channels in the ESPN family, fared slightly better, but why?
We think Breitbart’s Dylan Gwinn hit the nail on the head:
What do ESPNU, ESPNEWS, and the SEC Network all have in common? They are, by far, the least opinion-driven and ideological of all the ESPN channels. ESPN’s slate of uber-opinionated, radically leftist programs such as Around the Horn, First Take, Pardon the Interruption, His & Hers, and others all appear on ESPN or ESPN2, the channels which have seen the greatest decline.
Just like the with the NFL, whose ratings have taken a beating this year, it seems that sports fans are fed up with ESPN’s politicization of sports, especially from a leftist viewpoint.

GoodGopher.com rapidly rising as the independent search engine for REAL news... all sites penalized by Google are welcomed to get indexed

NaturalNews) As the radical, anti-free-speech left has declared all-out war on the independent media, people everywhere are waking up to GoodGopher.com as the alternative search engine for independent news and information.
GoodGopher.com, which I created and launched over a year ago, indexes all the independent media websites that are right now being targeted by radical left-wing totalitarians who despise America and want to silence the free press. A left-wing hate professor named Melissa Zimdars, of Merrimack College, a discredited institution reviled by its own students, is among the many totalitarians on the left who are right now trying to SILENCE conservative, independent websites like Breitbart.com, Infowars.com and NaturalNews.com.
The totalitarian left, which systematically traffics in false information, rigged news stories and highly deceptive social engineering tactics disguised as news, decided recently to label all independent news websites "fake news." The only "real" news, they claim, comes from organizations like CNN, a group of unethical presstitutes who abandoned journalism long ago to push the election of Hillary Clinton, an international war criminal who sold out the U.S. uranium supply to the Russians.

Former Mozilla CEO Still Standing, Launches New Web Browser
September 29, 2016 2 Min Read
Just two years after Brendan Eich was forced out of his position as CEO of Mozilla for simply supporting traditional marriage, he has introduced a brand new Internet browser known as Brave. The program offers an essentially ad-free browsing experience to users, is said to be “lightening-fast” and offers revolutionary privacy and security features. Many of Eich’s competitors stood against his groundbreaking concept and attempted to take legal action to stop the browser from prevailing.
But he stood “bravely” and defended his program. In choosing the name, Catherine Corre of Brave told LifeSiteNews:
“Brendan picked the name ‘Brave’ because we need users who will take a stand and fight back…”
The name Eich chose serves as a good representation of the man himself, who was betrayed by Mozilla for donating $1,000 to a proposal in California that defined marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman. He was called many offensive names because of his belief in traditional marriage and the family unit, yet still, he has returned with innovative ideas and proves that one can still stand up for his or her beliefs, and win!
UP LIBERALS ABOUT THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE ONCE AND FOR ALL
After all it’s unfair: Hillary Clinton won the “popular vote” so she should win, right? Wrong.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.
Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.
There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.
Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.
In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)
Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.
These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles.
When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.
Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country.
Phoenix serial shooter update: Investigation slows a year after first shooting

central phoenix | phoenix metro | serialshootings
One year after a suspected serial killer set off on a wave of shooting attacks in Phoenix that killed seven people and wounded two, police say they have experienced a significant slowdown of information provided by the public that could help detectives solve the case.
The high volume of tips that police received last year during the four-month period that the killer was active in two neighborhoods has dropped dramatically and no new physical evidence has turned up since the last known attack eight months ago, said police spokesman Sgt. John Howard.
FULL COVERAGE: Phoenix serial shootings
Despite the lack of new information that could lead to an arrest, police remain committed to finding the killer dubbed the Serial Street Shooter suspect and believe that the case will be cracked by a tip from someone who knows the attacker, he said.
"Many of the investigators have told me this is one of the most difficult cases they have investigated," said Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Howard.
Friday marked the one-year anniversary since the first attack linked to a single suspect.
The first shooting happened on March 17, 2016, when a Nissan drove past two teenagers, pulled a U-turn and a man inside the vehicle opened fire, hitting a 16-year-old boy in the arm, abdomen and hip. The teen survived the attack. In the most recent attack, on July 11, a 21-year-old man and his 4-year-old nephew escaped injury after the gunman shot at a vehicle they were sitting in.
Police have the victims were attacked as they stood outside their homes or sat in vehicles after dark. They were fired upon by someone who was sitting in a car or had just stepped out of a vehicle. All but one of the killings took place in the city's Maryvale section, a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood Phoenix's west side.
Investigators believe the crimes were carried out by a lanky Hispanic man in his early 20s, but they are leaving open the possibility that someone else may have participated in the attacks. They don't believe the attacks are racially motivated, though no motive has been established.
The victims include a 21-year-old man whose girlfriend was pregnant with their son and a 12-year-girl who was shot to death along with her mother and a friend of the woman.
It's not unusual for investigations into serial killers to stall, experts said.
"Sometimes these dry spells go on for years, but people shouldn't mistake that for cases being dormant," said Mary Ellen O'Toole, a former FBI profiler who directs George Mason University's forensic science program.
Serial killers typically get caught through a tip from a member of the public or through the re-examination of evidence that had been looked at earlier, she said.
Investigators in the Phoenix case believe the case will be solved by a tip from a person who knows about the killer's activities, perhaps a friend or relative who feels guilty about knowing about the attacks.
"The problem is that most family members and friends will not snitch unless they are absolutely sure as to the identity of the killer," said Jack Levin, a professor emeritus of sociology and criminology at Northeastern University in Boston and author of several books on serial killings.
And it's not unusual for serial killers to disappear for a period after they kill, said Mike Rustigan, a professor emeritus of criminal justice at San Jose State University who has studied serial killers.
The killer may have gone "into a cooling-off period to lay low because he doesn't want to get caught," Rustigan said
Investigators in Phoenix have continued to analyze physical evidence recovered from the shooting scenes, sought out neighbors who might have security camera footage of the shootings and worked with community groups to encourage tipsters to come forward.
Once the number of tips declined sharply, tips that had already been examined were handed off to other investigators to be re-examined in hopes that a fresh set of eyes might turn up something new. Police also released reports and 911 recordings from the attacks to news organizations to try to keep the public aware of the case.
"If someone has information, they can share that with us today, and it can make a difference in the case this afternoon," Howard said.
During the 19th and 20th centuries, physicists began to probe deep into the nature of matter and energy. In so doing, they quickly realized that the rules which govern them become increasingly blurry the deeper one goes. Whereas the predominant theory used to be that all matter was made up of indivisible atoms, scientists began to realize that atoms are themselves composed of even smaller particles.
From these investigations, the Standard Model of Particle Physics was born. According to this model, all matter in the Universe is composed of two kinds of particles: hadrons – from which Large Hadron Collider (LHC) gets its name – and leptons. Where hadrons are composed of other elementary particles (quarks, anti-quarks, etc), leptons are elementary particles that exist on their own.
The authenticity of the Holy Bible has been attacked at regular intervals by atheists and theologians alike but none have explained away the mathematical seal beneath its surface.
It would seem the divine hand has moved to prevent counterfeiting in the pages of the Bible in a similar manner to the line that runs through paper money. Bible numerics appears to be God's watermark of authenticity.
Vital research on this numeric seal was completed by a native of the world's most reknowned atheistic nation, Russia. Ivan Panin was born in Russia on December 12, 1855. As a young man he was an active nihilist and participated in plots against the Czar and his government. He was a mathematical genius who died a Harvard scholar and a citizen of the United States in 1942.
Panin was exiled from Russia. And after spending a number of years studying in Germany, he went to the United States where he became an outstanding lecturer on literary criticism. Panin was known as a firm agnostic—so well known that when he discarded his agnosticism and accepted the Christian faith, the newspapers carried headlines telling of his conversion.

DR. IVAN PANIN- RUSSIA'S GIFT TO CHRISTIANITY
As we attempt to capture the essence of this remarkable man and his enormous contribution to the cause of Christ, a sense of frustration is immediately encountered because of unyielding constraints the need for brevity forces upon us. Many books have been devoted to what we must condense, but we encourage the reader to further investigate the discoveries of Dr. Panin through that which has been written by him and about him. (Book list and ordering information available in the appendix)
Ivan Panin was born in Russia on December 12, 1855 and as a young man he was an active Nihilist. one who was so "turned off" by the inane circumstances surrounding him that he adopted the attitude that all values were worthless and nothing was knowable or communicable. He apparently detested the Czarist government so much that he participated in various plots against it and eventually was forced into political exile. From there he moved to Germany where he spent a number of years furthering his education. When he left Germany he immigrated to the United States and soon entered Harvard University where he became the personal friend of both the famous professor William James and the University. s President Eliot.
This iconic centuries-old tree fell — and many are heartbroken
Jan. 9, 2017 at 3:13 PMCourtney Cox
You know that old adage, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound"? Well yesterday an iconic tree in California's Calaveras Big Trees State Park fell and left a resounding sadness for those who had the chance to visit.
The Pioneer Cabin Tree was hollowed out at the base of the trunk in the late 1800s to create a tunnel that thousands of visitors have since walked through. The architects were inspired by the Wawona Tree, a similar sequoia tree that stood at Yosemite National Park until 1969.
The remarkable tree still showed signs of life, but powerful storms in the area caused flooding that it could not withstand. Jim Allday, a volunteer at the park, told SF Gate that the tree fell down around 2 p.m. Sunday, and that it "shattered" on impact. "I could see the tree on the ground, it looked like it was laying in a pond or lake with a river running through it," he said.
While the age of the Pioneer Cabin Tree isn't clear, giant sequoias clan live more than 3,000 years, according to the National Park Service. Yosemite's Grizzly Giant is estimated to be 1,800 years old (give or take a few centuries).
The Calaveras Big Trees Association, a nonprofit group, said it best in their Facebook tribute, "The iconic and still living tree...enchanted many visitors."
Indeed, many shared personal memories — and photos — of the tree. "I have a picture of my grandfather holding me in front of this tree back in early 50s," wrote one commenter on Facebook.
"This really made me sad," wrote another. "Yes, I cried. This tree is one of my precious memories when I was a kid. I have pictures of us in our van driving through this magnificent tree."
One woman shared her engagement photo featuring the tree. "My fiancé Scott just called me to let me know The Great Pioneer Cabin Tree is no more I am heart broken I love that tree!"
While this great wonder no longer stands, the National Park Service is host to many other sequoia gems, including the General Sherman Tree, which stands at 275 feet tall and has a diameter of 36 feet at the base.
While we've lost a great treasure in the Pioneer Cabin Tree, the inspiring and enchanting sites that remain are worth the trip!
The General Sherman Tree is the world's largest tree, measured by volume. It stands 275 feet (83 m) tall, and is over 36 feet (11 m) in diameter at the base. Sequoia trunks remain wide high up. Sixty feet above the base, the Sherman Tree is 17.5 feet (5.3 m) in diameter.
Visiting the General Sherman Tree
Two trails lead to the Sherman Tree. The Main Trail is half a mile (0.8 km) trail down to the tree. It has some stairs and is paved. As you walk, you'll enter the Giant Forest Sequoia Grove. Exhibits along the trail explain the natural history of giant sequoias. The walk back is uphill.
For those with disability parking placards, a wheelchair-accessible trail leads a short distance to the tree from a parking area on the Generals Highway. If you don't have a placard but can't manage the Main Trail, ask at any visitor center for a temporary parking permit, or ride park shuttles to the accessible trail when they are in service. During shuttle season, another option is to park at the Main Trail, walk to the Sherman Tree, then continue to the shuttle stop along the Generals Highway. A shuttle can return you to your parking area, eliminating the uphill walk.
A fence protects the shallow roots of the Sherman Tree. Please help us protect the tree by staying on the paved trail.
The Sherman Tree in Winter
When snow falls, the accessible parking area becomes available for all and the main parking area closes. The trail to the Sherman Tree can be very snowy or icy. Consider renting snowshoes or skis. If you choose to walk, avoid stepping in ski tracks.
The timing of winter snow varies tremendously between seasons and is very difficult to predict. Snow can fall anytime from October into June.
On some winter holiday weekends, a winter shuttle provides transportation from Lodgepole and Wuksachi to the Sherman tree Trail.
Hundreds of monarch sequoias grow in the Giant Forest Sequoia Grove. The Congress Trail, a paved two-mile loop that begins near the Sherman Tree, offers excellent opportunities to see notable trees. Big Trees Trail, a one-mile (1.6 km) loop around a lush meadow, has interpretive exhibits about the natural history of giant sequoias. For a longer walk, explore the many miles of trails in the area.
Beyond the Giant Forest, more sequoia groves await. Visit the world's second-largest tree, the General Grant Tree in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park. Other groves such as Redwood Canyon and Muir Grove are destinations for longer hikes.

Do trees have brains and talk to each other? They are intelligent, express emotions and make friends, claims a new book. Barking? Judge for yourself
Some research claims trees are able to communicate with each other
Forester Peter Wohlleben believes they are able to transmit information
Scientists are starting to ask whether trees possess intelligence and brains
By Peter Wohlleben For The Daily Mail
PUBLISHED: 20:41 EDT, 15 September 2016 | UPDATED: 13:41 EDT, 16 September 2016
There's increasing evidence to show that trees are able to communicate with each other. More than that, trees can learn.
If that's true — and my experience as a forester convinces me it is — then they must be able to store and transmit information.
And scientists are beginning to ask: is it possible that trees possess intelligence, and memories, and emotions? So, to cut to the quick, do trees have brains?
It sounds incredible, but when you discover how trees talk to each other, feel pain, nurture each other, even care for their close relatives and organise themselves into communities, it's hard to be sceptical.
I didn't always feel this way. In fact, when I began as a civil servant with the German forestry commission in the Eighties, I knew next to nothing about the hidden life of trees.
It was my job to look at hundreds of spruces, beeches, oaks and pines every day, to assess their readiness for the lumber mill and their market value.

5.0 out of 5 stars A "Must Read" for anyone who doesn't believe organic food is superior
ByMarcha Foxon December 23, 2016
Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase
It obviously has taken me a while to get around to reading this classic book originally published in 1973. I'd heard much about it and was not disappointed. The authors did a tremendous job of recounting the history of plant research, including the work of such great scientists as George Washington Carver and scores of others. Its scope is vast and even prophetic in light of the state of agriculture and its relationship to health over four decades later.
I suspect that much of the revolution toward organic gardening originated with this book. Back then and before it was acknowledged that chemical fertilizers and pesticides would ultimately fail. How is it that wheat, known for centuries as the staff of life, is now a problem for hoards of individuals who suffer from gluten allergies? What about wheat had changed to cause this? The answer lies in the expansive use of the herbicide, Round-Up, commercial name for the chemical, glyphosate, which is stored in gluten. People aren't allergic to gluten; they're allergic to this toxic chemical.
People in countries which have banned this substance typically don't suffer from gluten allergies. It's highly likely that organic bread and other wheat products grown without being drenched in this toxic substance will not induce problems in sensitive individuals. This should not be rocket science yet, in forty years' time, the agricultural industry has not changed their chemical approach to farming. The reason is obvious--corporatism, i.e., commercial agriculture's tight relationship with the USDA, where corporate profits are more important that people's health.
Beyond all the testimonials associated with the need to respect nature is the underlying message that all life is connected. Many of the experiments and experiences recounted have not been repeated to the satisfaction of mainstream scientists. This, of course, is no surprise; the essence of life is elusive. Yet, evidence abounds for those who seek such knowledge, esoteric though it may be. If nothing else, this book inspires reverence, awe, and respect for all life, which is nothing short of a miracle. All life is connected in ways we do not yet understand.
Whether you call it instinct, DNA, intelligence, or consciousness, plants respond to various stimuli in ways that cannot be explained.
Unfortunately, research in this area is often discouraged because it's labeled "unscientific". While I suspect life's answer lies in the realm of quantum physics, the technology needed to identify, much less prove it, is not yet available. Neither will be, as long as research in such areas earns derisive comments and being ostracized by mainstream academic circles who depend on government grants.
It is very fortunate that this book is still available and being read over forty years after it was first published. It contains information that everyone should read, whether or not they believe it. The preponderance of evidence from multiple sources lends considerable weight to claims that, if heeded, would lead to a healthier populace and do much to save our planet. I will not view plantlife the same since reading this book and will be buying organic even more diligently than I did before. This book has important implications for both your physical and spiritual health. I recommend it highly.
5.0 out of 5 stars I worked for 5 years with Marcel Vogel conducting plant communication research.

I worked for 5 years with Marcel Vogel conducting plant communication research in the late 70's. His work is the most part of one of the chapters. I have been totally convinced that plants detect human emotions as well as a communication system between plants that is very sophisticated. I'm personally very grounded in my being when I'm in the presence of trees and in the woods. This book speaks of a world within the plant world that has been mostly ignored by our western culture.
The genius of birds. Why bird-brained, as an insult, may not make sense.
Our understanding of animal intelligence beyond our own is changing. Scientists are saying hey, don’t imagine human intelligence is so entirely singular. Exhibit A might be birds. Once we said “birdbrained” as an insult. But research of years now is showing birds as anything but dumb. And some, you might call geniuses. This hour On Point, we’re talking hornbills, grackles, kingfishers, crows - and the often astonishing genius of birds.

From Tom’s Reading List
The Daily Progress: 'The Genius of Birds' is latest feather in author Jennifer Ackerman's cap -- "The crow that appears on the videotape is as methodical in its movement as a conscientious child setting the dinner table. It drops a nut it has been carrying in its beak onto the roadway, and then quickly retreats to the safety of the snow-covered curb."
Behavioral Ecology: The town bird and the country bird: problem solving and immunocompetence vary with urbanization — "Birds from urbanized areas were better at problem solving than their rural counterparts, but did not differ in color discrimination learning. The Conversation: Will we soon see another wave of bird extinctions in the Americas? — "To appreciate the significance of today’s looming extinctions in the tropics, we must travel north to the great deciduous forests of the eastern United States, which are haunted by the ghosts of extinctions past. Here, the opportunity to experience the double raps of Ivory-billed Woodpeckers, sun-obscuring clouds of Passenger Pigeons, raucous flocks of Carolina Parakeets, and the monotone song of the Bachman’s Warbler is seemingly forever lost."
The sun looks like a proud, happy dad with a huge smile in new photos beamed back to Earth by a sun-staring spacecraft.
The new images — taken by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory — show various features of the sun coincidentally coming together to look just like a face with a crooked smile and male-patterned baldness.

All in all, this makes the sun bear a striking resemblance to Frasier Crane or perhaps your father.
The smiley sun photo was first pointed out on Twitter by solar scientist Karl Battams after the Solar Dynamics Observatory's website was updated with the new photos taken today.
Battams told Mashable that the bright features that make up the eyes are likely "active regions" of the star, which are often associated with solar flare-causing sunspots.
The dark line that makes up the "mouth" of the star is a solar filament — a long string of plasma in the sun's atmosphere.
And the sun's "hair" and nose are coronal holes, which can shoot out solar particles that speed through the solar system bombarding the magnetic fields of the planets. This stream of particles is known as the solar wind.

quote_leftIt is getting dark, and the room is lit only by a few candles. People are beginning to gather. They talk quietly in small groups, or lie in mute and solitary suffering on the floor. People tell jokes and exchange stories; they talk about their neighbors, about hunting conditions, about encounters with strange beings in the jungle. Some of them will drink ayahuasca, and some will not; some will drink for vision, and some for cleansing. Some drink in order to see the face of the envious and resentful enemy who has made them ill, or the one who has caused their business plans to fail, or the one with whom their spouse is secretly sleeping. Some drink to find lost objects, or see distant relatives, or find the answer to a question. Some may use la medicina as a purgative, a way to cleanse themselves. All are here for don Roberto to heal them.
Except for me. I am here not to be healed but rather to learn the medicine. I am here to be the student of el doctor, la planta maestra, la diosa, ayahuasca, the teacher, the goddess; to take the plant into my body, to give myself over to the teacher, to become the aprendiz of the plant, while under the powerful protection of don Roberto’s magical songs, his icaros. I have been following la dieta, the diet — no salt, no sugar, no sex, eating only plantains and pescaditos, little fish. I have drunk ayahuasca with don Roberto before, and with other mestizo healers around Iquitos — doña María, don Rómulo, don Antonio. I am nervous about the vomiting. I wonder what I will see tonight; I wonder if I will see anything.
Don Roberto comes into the room, moves from person to person, joking, smiling, asking about mutual acquaintances, gathering information, talking about matters of local interest, getting the stories of the sick. Some people laugh at a joke, feel the brief light of his full attention on them and their problems. He spends some time talking informally with each person who has come for healing, and often with accompanying family members, quietly gathering information about the patient’s problems, relationships, and attitudes. In addition, as himself a member of the community, don Roberto often has a shrewd idea of the tensions, stresses, and sicknesses with which the patient may be involved. There are about twenty people present. Everyone is given a seat and a plastic bucket, filled with a few inches of water, to vomit in….

Mystery "Alien" noises heard in the skies over Sweden, America and Belgium now captured in BRITAIN
The unusual sound - which has been described as grinding metal or trumpets - has been confusing and frightening people for years
10:53, 26 MAR 2017
Mystery 'alien' noises have been baffling people across the globe from Sweden to America to Belgium - and now they have popped up in Nottingham, England.
Stunned Calvin Kirlew recorded footage on Tuesday from the window of his home, which appears to capture a strange noise coming from the sky.
The sound, which has been described as grinding metal or trumpets, has been heard in other countries such as America, Bulgaria and Sweden but also in the UK and has been confusing people for a number of years.
Mr Kirlew, a 24-year-old who works in marketing, told the Nottingham Post : "I was amazed I actually managed to get it recorded.
"It was going on for about five or 10 minutes before I started recording and then it carried on for about another 30 minutes."
Atlanta Attorney Assassinated After Filing Request For I-85 Bridge Explosion Documents
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers
A grim new Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today says that Trinh Huynh, one of the most knowledgeable construction attorneys in Atlanta, Georgia, was gunned down in broad daylight yesterday just minutes after she filed legal requests at a Federal Courthouse for all US and State of Georgia documents relating to the believed to be Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) terror bombing of the I-85 bridge—with Atlanta street sweeper, and eyewitness, Toney Booker telling local police about this assassination: “She was crossing the road, and he draws out his gun and shoots her three times. She drops, and he takes off running.”—and whose “military bearing” assassin was captured on video surveillance recordings running away from the crime scene. [Note: Some words and/or phrases appearing in quotes in this report are English language approximations of Russian words/phrases having no exact counterpart.]
According to this report, Trinh Huynh was a Vietnamese-American attorney with The Gibson Law Firm, LLC, who specialized in contractor litigation and was a graduate of Princeton University and received her law degree from Emory University School of Law—where she was awarded the Emory Order of Advocates, the State Bar of Georgia Prizes for Labor and Employment Law and was a member of the Emory Moot Courty Society and the Lamar Inn of Court—and who prior to joining Gibson was an associate in the Government Contracts and Construction Practice Group at Powell Goldstein LLP and, most recently, was a senior associate in the Government Contracts and Construction Practice Group at Alston & Bird LLP, where she was an active member of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
So knowledgeable, in fact, was Trinh Huynh in her construction field of expertise, this report continues, she authored many works on the subject too—including her 2009 book titled “The ABCs of Federal Government Contracting” and her, likewise, 2009 publication and course titled “Construction Recordkeeping and Documentation Requirements for Government Contracts” (Co-Presenter, Lorman Education Services seminar).
As an in-house attorney, also, for United Parcel Service (UPS), the world's largest package delivery company headquartered in Atlanta, this report details, Trinh Huynh, yesterday, appeared at the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia where she filed legal papers for UPS asserting a force majeure claim due to the destruction of the I-85 bridge—that is a common clause in contracts that essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term “act of God” occurs.
Along with Trinh Huynh filing her force majeure claim for UPS, this report notes, her further legal filings contained what SVR analysts say were “common and natural” legal requests for all US Federal and State of Georgia documents relating to the I-85 bridge explosion—but that within 30 minutes of her making these filings, she was assassinated with all of the legal documents she filed then “disappearing-becoming non-existent”.
As to why Trinh Huynh had to be assassinated, this report continues, is due to the longstanding policy of American “Deep State” intelligence operatives currently at war with President Donald Trump of using what are called “message killings” in order to strike fear into anyone interfering with their objectives—and that in this particular instance involves keeping the knowledge of this Islamic State terror attack away from the Trump administration as it supports Trump’s warnings of how great a threat these terrorists are to the US.

ATLANTA (CBS46) -
Atlanta Police have announced the arrest of a man they say shot a woman as she walked in the crosswalk of Atlanta's most prestigious business districts Monday morning.
Raylon Browning, 39, shot 40-year-old Trinhh Huynh, an Atlanta-area lawyer, at close range at about 7:40 a.m. The incident occurred in the intersection of Peachtree Street and Peachtree Place, according to authorities. At the time, the intersection was filled with drivers and pedestrians.
"Trinh Huynh passionately lived her life, whether as a daughter, sister, friend, or lawyer. She served the Asian American legal community for many years through GAPABA and other bar associations," posted a member of the Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association on the organization's Facebook page.
Congressmen Demand Investigation into Department of Homeland Security Hacking Georgia’s Election Systems

DHS Hacks Georgia’s Election
While the media and the government are focused on the alleged ‘Russian Hacks’, of which numerous cyber security experts have called wildly inaccurate, Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Jody Hice (R-Ga.) are demanding answers to a hack that was perpetrated by the American government on the State of Georgia.
Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Jody Hice (R-Ga.) sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Inspector General John Roth on Thursday demanding an official investigation into alleged attempts by DHS to hack Georgia’s firewall.
“We request you investigate Secretary Kemp’s allegations that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conducted unauthorized scans of his office’s computer network,” the letter states.
Specifically, Chaffetz and Hice want Roth to investigate whether or not DHS “conduct[ed] an unauthorized scan of the Georgia Secretary of State’s computer network(s)? If so, who authorized the scan(s)? Has the Department conducted an unauthorized scan(s) of any other state’s systems?” and “if so, which states did DHS scan without authorization?”
A Capitol Hill staffer with knowledge of the motivations behind the letter confirmed that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Secretary Kemp, and the Georgia congressional delegation are growing increasingly frustrated with how DHS has hitherto handled the case.
“Last month, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, in which he identified an ‘unsuccessful attempt to penetrate the Georgia Secretary of State’s firewall’ originating from a DHS-registered IP address,” the letter explains.
Georgia election officials accuses DHS of hacking state computer system
By Andrew Blake - The Washington Times - Friday, December 9, 2016
Georgia’s top election official this week accused the U.S. Department of Homeland Security of trying to hack a computer network containing the state’s voter registration database.
Brian Kemp, Georgia’s secretary of state, demanded information about the alleged intrusion attempt in a letter sent Thursday to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
“On Nov. 15, an IP address associated with the Department of Homeland Security made an unsuccessful attempt to penetrate the Georgia Secretary of State’s firewall. I am writing you to ask whether DHS was aware of this attempt and, if so, why DHS was attempting to breach our firewall,” Mr. Kemp wrote.
“At no time has my office agreed to or permitted DHS to conduct penetration testing or security scans of our network,” he added. “Moreover, your department has not contacted my office since this unsuccessful incident to alert us of any security event that would require testing or scanning of our network. This is especially odd and concerning since I serve on the Election Cyber Security Working Group that your office created.”
Indeed, Mr. Kemp was appointed by the nonpartisan National Association of Secretaries of State earlier this year to serve as an adviser for a DHS working group tasked with helping states manage cyber risks to their election and voting systems prior to the Nov. 8 election.
The Economist’s “The World in 2017” Makes Grim Predictions Using Cryptic Tarot Cards
December 12, 2016
The influential publication The Economist released its traditional end of year edition where it predicts events of the coming year. The 2017 edition is presented in a very occult fashion: A tarot deck modified with cryptic symbols.
If you thought that 2016 was not a great year, well The Economist does not seem to optimistic about the year to come. Indeed, in its “The Year in 2017” cover, the publication predicts death and turmoil in a dark occult context, using tarot cards and cryptic symbolism.
When The Economist released its The World in 2015 cover, I simply had to write an extensive article about it because it alluded, through symbolism, to various agendas of the elite. Indeed, The Economist is not your typical magazine, it is a ‘prestigious’ publication owned by powerful people. As I’ve written in the 2015 article:
“I wouldn’t normally dedicate an entire article analyzing the cover of a publication, but this isn’t any publication. It is The Economist and it is directly related to the world elite. It is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, attended several times to the Bilderberg Conference – the secretive meeting where the world’s most powerful figures from the world of politics, finance business and media discuss global policies. The outcome of those meetings is totally secret. It is therefore safe to say that the people at The Economist know things that most people don’t.”
While some images on that 2015 cover referred to obvious events, others were extremely cryptic – even ‘coded’ – as they were never satisfactorily explained.
This year’s edition is even more enigmatic. It uses the tarot to predict the year to come. Here it is.
The first thing one can say about this cover is that it is occult. The tarot is indeed said to contain within its symbolism the entirety of occult mysteries transmitted by secret societies. Also, considering that the cards of the Major Arcana is also referred to as “trumps”, it was a great way to emphasize that next year will be very influenced by Trump’s election.
Using tarot cards to predict the future, in a publication that is owned by the occult elite, is quite fitting. Through the centuries, several versions of the tarot were created. However, most of them contain the same symbolism which allude to specific esoteric concepts. Occultists agree that the tarot originate from Ancient Egypt.
Photos of children, a comet, appear on Rothschild publication forecasting 2017 (pizzagate)
submitted 3 hours ago by Laskar
The cover of The Economist is always something about predicting events in the coming year, political or otherwise, usually in a sort of Sargent Pepper album cover sort of way--you have to decipher the art. This year it features an allusion to pizzagate.
The interesting thing about this year's cover is that although it appears to feature some of the major arcana of the Tarot cards, the Star card is completely different than any traditional representation, whereas the other cards shown are not as divergent from traditional representations.
The Star card normally shows a woman pouring water from two vessels, one on the earth and one in a lake. There are usually seven stars and occasionally one large star, never more than that. You can search it for yourself. This is true not only in the popular Ryder Waite deck but even in the Mlle Le Normand deck dating to the time of Napoleon. It is thought that the Tarot dates at least to 16th century Italy. It has a long association with divination, magic, and astrology. Satanists also use the cards for incantations/spells/rituals.
Here's where pizzagate comes in: in the Star card on the magazine cover, there is no water (there is a cratered surface), no woman, but there are fifteen stars in an illuminated night sky with pictures of children in each, which look like the missing children photos we used to see on milk cartons.
This is bizarre to say the least.
**What is more is that there is a COMET in the center of the stars. A comet--something which never appears in this tarot card-- however variable the representation. **
I doubt too many Tarot readers are fans of The Economist, or that most people understand the esoteric meanings of those cards (major arcana=major hidden mysteries, the minor arcana are what has developed into the four suits of a regular playing card deck), but I am certain that the elites know exactly what they are doing. It's a sort of mockery, laughing in plain sight, and daring us to figure out their game whose outcome they believe to be fixed.
I note that the other cards selected for distortion on that cover have odd meaning as well, but not blatantly to do with pizzagate, as the Star card does.Too many Satanic connections to mention, but the Magician card shown on the 2017 cover with a 3D printer, always has the Baphomet "as above, so below" hand position, which of course is also Masonic. It's all the same pedo club.
To understand further why this is significant and related to pizzagate, it is necessary to appreciate just how contrived this cover is and how predictive it can be, and has been in the past. Here is an article on an older cover with some interpretation: https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilant...e-predictions/
Here is the same author's interpretation of the 2017 cover, though he totally misses the implications of the Star, but then he does not write about pizzagate anyway.
We already know that David Brock (head of Media Matters trolling) and associate of Lynn Rothschild, was formerly James Alefantis' boyfriend. Again, it all about their hidden messages, not restricted to code language or logos.
