Just had a little fight with a conservative guy from Louisiana. He is still very much pro-Bush and even defended an insane letter from Chuck Colson saying that New orleas is a reason to incentive the war on terror, just because it proved that we are so vulnerable. (duh ?)

I guess I'm wondering what powers the President has at present in re deploying the US Military in natural disasters.

My next question would then be what does the futher expansion entail?

The President is not going to accept responsibility for a BLUNDER unless there is something in it for them.

Federalizing the National Guard, (the states), more military power for the President in times of natural disasters.

And, people will soften, but in the back of their mind there should remain a question mark?

No responsibility for his IRAQ blunder because he's done what he was suppose to do and they've obtained what they've wanted to obtain.
